The style of the place was great and very retro. The roof bar was a good place to hangout for a bit even when quite busy. Cleanliness of the place was spot on.

The cost compared to what was provided was a surprise. The room had a kettle and instant coffee with a carton of milk with a straw to use. Had to request an iron and ironing board as well rather than having one as standard. Generally it didn’t feel like you had the luxury for the cost per night. Staff service was mixed as well. Poor communication when checking in and some poor service at the bar one evening as well. Didn’t leave a great impression.

Gorgeous property! The lobby bar and TOPE (rooftop) are spectacular for a drink or food between travels around Belgium. Lovely room and very comfy bed with amazing rain shower. Very cool vibe and friendly staff!

While we loved the hotel it is in a bit of a strange location - felt quite uneasy walking around in both the day and night! Appreciate it’s in a trendy and “up and coming area” but saw quite a few questionable/troubled individuals around which made us feel unsafe at times. Particularly as access to the hotel you had to go down poorly lit backstreets, through tunnels or through the park. Didn’t experience this in the main town or on previous stays to Brussels, but was something we saw a lot of whenever we returned to the hotel. It’s a lovely hotel and some nice spots nearby but would recommend not walking around by yourself (particularly with suitcases, we made this mistake! suggest taxi to/from the airport or station) and keeping your wits about you around the hotel.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, new, and modern. The reception area is so cozy. The view from the room’s window was amazing.

The location was a little bit far from the center, felt like restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets weren’t that close to the hotel. The Air Conditioner wasn’t working properly for several days until they’ve changed our room and upgraded us, and it was perfect in the new room. There was no coffee machine in the room unfortunately. The kitchen closes at 10 pm and the in room menu wasn’t that good and it was limited.

It is a delightful change from sterile focus-group designed hotels. So we loved the decor. The room was small, but had a good table and seats, and what a view from 17th floor. It was really nice to have good bedstands, including a radio and phone, even if they took up some real estate on the top. Great shower and towels. Nice that the toilet is around a wall from the shower.

Oh my gosh, another hotel with terrible bathroom lighting. Why?? Coming from Germany where every room has a magnifying mirror was difficult. The sink mirror was so far away and dark, I had to put on my makeup in the bedroom. Did not love the location, it was a long walk to attractions. But not too far from the Nord train station at least.

The decor of the hotel is unique and frankly very appealing. The hotel lobby is quite spacious and very appealing to be in. Room was generously sized and was very comfortable.

The room required some ventilation for the bathroom. After a shower the bathrrom retained a lot of humidity that didn't go away. With regards to location, it is not far from the city centre but access to the hotel is complicated if not by car. There are limited public transport options available nearby and pedestrian access is also complicated if not through the botanical garden which closes at night.

I absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone that is traveling with animals - room was excellent and beautiful - no extra fee for dogs, they even provided us with a dog bed and bowl in the room, the dogs can go everywhere, even to breakfast, which was great! - parking garage just around the corner, the price was 20 euro for 24hours - breakfast was nice, you can choose a warm meal plus there are a small variety of cold foods, it was not the biggest variety, but enough! - there is a park really close - location is good, very walkable to city Centre, but maybe not the safest area at night

Sadly there is a deposit of 50€ per night which I still haven’t received back but I was aware of this after reading after other reviews. So you have to take into account that your deposit might be frozen for a while. I am still waiting to receive it back

Everything about my experience was excellent. ​My room was beautiful, with a breathtaking view and a very comfortable bed. The hotel's location is perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area. ​I also really enjoyed the bar, which had a great atmosphere and a fantastic selection of drinks. But what truly made my stay was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. ​Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Always like Hoxton’s interior, rooms were very clean nice view from high floor. Our check in and check out experience with reception was great, staffs were friendly.

The service was attentive. I called front desk ask if there’s anywhere I can have my delivery food rather than inside of the room, the lady said she needs to consult her manager and then call me back, but then never called back. In the morning the cafe at the entrance just put up a plate says will be back in 20 minutes. So we went downstairs to the bigger bar standing their hoping to get some attention, stood there for 5 minutes staffs walking around did not want to even address that they were aware we were waiting. Very disappointed experience.

Best Hotel in Brussels, BY FAR!They also have the best restaurant that I have ever eaten - Cantina Valentina. Everyone is SO gentle and kind with you (I LOVED so much our waitress in Cantina Valentina Valentina - Soraya, she’s the best!!!) in the restaurant and in the hotel. If we ever needed anything, they were always doing their best to help us. The bed and the pillows are so great!(That’s something really important to me when I travel). And the bathroom was huge!!The location of the hotel helped us a lot - it was right in the center and so close to public transportation. Definitely recommend the hotel!

Loved our stay at The Hoxton. We had to be in Brussels for a friend’s party. We had a lovely corner room and it all looked fresh and clean, no worn out furniture and room was in good condition. Air conditioning in the room is quiet and works. In the morning we had the full breakfast. We dropped out keycards in the letter box. Location of the hotel is not the most central, but central enough. We wanted to stay longer, bur we decided to drive back to Amsterdam, because it was raining cats and dogs.

Things for improvement: - water pressure could be a bit higher - firmer pillows (but that is personal preference) - a bit more lighting in the bathroom The space to turn and park the car in the public parking garage around the corner of the hotel is quite narrow. Note that the ground floor is only parking for electric cars. Non EVs park on levels -1 and -2, so immediately turn left once you entered the parking garage.
