Very good hotel, the room very big and clean. The spa was perfect for after ski relax The shuttle service to the gondola was really good and arrived right on time. The breakfast was good with a lot of options. The bartender at the lobby bar make great cocktails!!

We have black out at the night for 5 hours and foals fire alarm at 3 am for 30 minutes.

Great location. Spa facilities are fantastic. Barmen was incredible and cocktails were great. Comfortable enjoyable stay.

Only negative is that we had a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 men and only 1 shower. There was space for another shower or bath.

It was very clean. Since we were on our vacation with two little kids , it was important to us. Breakfast was good, you could choose everthing between eggs, pancake, salads, cheese... Water in swimming pool was around 30C where warm amd comfortable for little kids. Pillows and bed were great, much better than in other hotels. After all we would get back here.

Rooms were wery old fashioned and walls have none isolation. We had lucky since it wasnt't crowded in the beginning of March. But you colud hear almost everthing between rooms. Also in the rooms you have almost nothing for preparing food. If you are lucky you will get a plate and a fork...

Friendly staff, new couch, and bed in the rooms, but I need to mention that the couch was a bit tough even with the extra topper. Enough space in the rooms for all of our luggage. Transport to the cable car 🚡 was great. there is no need to carry your equipment for 15 min to get there.

In one of the rooms( 335), there was an impossible smell coming from the sewage pipes. Breakfast scrambled eggs weren't cooked enough sometimes. Noisy neighbours all around and kids running on the floor and stairs. There should be an extra jacuzzi as people were kinda holding spots for others, and the limit was 4 at a time (not saying to increase the limit it would be crowded). On the same idea, kids were playing in the jacuzzi, but here i blame the parents 😉

We were very pleased with the accommodation conditions at the Grand Royale Hotel. We had an apartment and found it very convenient, with both the bedroom and the living room being large and spacious, plus the big hallway and the walk-in closet in the hall, which was very useful. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner (we opted for half board) were very satisfying, varied, and tasty. The staff was very hospitable and helpful, assisting us with any small request or need.

As small suggestions – a little cabinet or some extra shelves in the bathroom would be useful, as it’s a bit difficult to find a place to put fresh clothes for after a shower, or even for storing cosmetics (especially since, as you know, ladies usually have quite a lot 🙂). Also, at dinner, it would be a nice gesture if at least still water could be offered free of charge.

The hotel is very good with great facilities for children, which is the main reason I liked it so much. Breakfast and dinner were also very good with enough options to choose from. The swimming pool was clean and warm in comparison to many other hotels in Bansko that advertise a pool but you cannot actually go there because of the cold water. I would definitely visit the place again when I have the chance.

Nobody cleaned our room for four days. The cleaning ladies tried to enter on two occasions but at a time when my child was taking a nap. The second time I had put the sign "do not disturb" but nevertheless the lady came in at 14:30 and saw us in bed but still asked whether we wanted the room to be cleaned. This is the first time I see such a thing - rooms being cleaned in the afternoon. Not that our room was so dirty but it would have been nice to at least take the trash away. I don't know...maybe they are understaffed or busy but at the same time you can see the ladies taking a break in the morning, chatting and smoking outside. My positive experience was not changed by this issue but it makes a bad impression.

My stay at the hotel was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of service and attention to detail. The room was exceptionally large, clean, and well-maintained – housekeeping came daily to refresh the linens, provide clean towels, and make sure everything was perfect. The air conditioning worked like a charm, which made coming back to the room after a long day of skiing super relaxing. The food was surprisingly good, with a decent variety and quality meals every day. One of the standout features was the free shuttle to the ski resort – it was always on time and super convenient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. My friends and I had an amazing time and truly enjoyed every moment. Even though I caught a little cold by the end, it was totally worth it. Can’t wait to come back next season!

The stay was good value for money. The Hotel was ok. The food was somewhat ok. One good thing was that due to our late arrival we missed the dinner but the staff offered us some dinner snack at our arrival which was very thoughtful of them. We were without the kid but it seems as a great place for a family stay during the summer because of the activities which were provided for the kids.

Our room was situated at the second floor and there was a common terrace for 4 or 5 apartments and at first night there was some people on the terrace up until midnight but it wasn't so much of a fuss. Overall everything was ok.

Our stay at the hotel was very nice. The rooms were big and clean. The stuff were polite and mostly helpful. The breakfast was quite good and had a nice variety of food. The hotel has a good variety of facilities - the pool was nice and big, and the children's and games rooms are a good place to keep the children entertained for a good amount of time. Also, the bicycles are a very nice addition for people who like cycling.

Quite many times, we faced that the stuff at the desk didn't understand or tried to understand us when we contacted them at the desk. The breakfast didn't change by much or at all on a daily basis.

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy, and we slept great – there was a small forest stream running just below our room, and its gentle sound was absolutely hypnotic. It’s especially great for families with young kids – there’s an excellent playroom that our toddler loved, full of safe and fun activities for their age. The hotel staff go the extra mile to create plenty of programs and daily activities for children, which is truly commendable. The spa area is also fantastic, perfect for relaxing while the kids are happily entertained. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. The location is quiet and peaceful, about a 15-minute walk from the center and main pedestrian zone – not right in the middle of everything, but close enough for a pleasant stroll. Overall, a really pleasant stay. We’d happily come back!
