The host, Mitko, is a lovely guy. Really chatty in English and helpful taking time to show on map what is where. Free water in the bar area anytime was nice touch too. Very accommodating. He prepared a really nice, freshly cooked breakfast. Room was spacious and immaculate. Location is perfect, right on edge of old town, free parking outside, 10 min walk to city centre or restaurants.

The walls are thin. If you go as a group, there's 3 rooms per floor so you're all together which is perfect. The other 2 rooms by us had nice guys in, but they were in and out of each others rooms when we were trying to snooze, banging and crashing doors. We got home 10.30pm and were woken at 2am, they tried to be quiet to be fair but chatted for an hour. Insulation round the doors so they don't close with a bang would help i think? Door closer on the front door, so the building doesn't shake when that closes would also help. Maybe the bar area is open during the season, it wasn't when we were there.

The location is perfect on the edge of the Old Town so you can walk to all the places of interest. The host was there to greet us and help to park the car. The room was spacious with great aircon, which was essential as temperature was in the high 30s. Also the fly screens meant you can get fresh air without being bitten! We only stayed one night but would definitely return on our next visit to Plovdiv. The host recommended places to eat and the one we chose was excellent and not a tourist place.

This is a small family hotel that feels more like someone hosting you in their home. As in any home, there is a host. The host of this property really made our stay, and we can't emphasize the importance of this enough. Even before we came, we asked a few questions, and he took them very seriously and incorporated our personal concerns into our stay, in ways that no other hotel did. Moreover, he was able to give us a lot of practical information about Plovdiv, Bulgaria as a whole, and even Serbia. He also makes breakfast personally, so it's possible to ask for something specific. TL;DR: It's extremely rare to see a hotelier who cares this much about their guests and their needs and wants. This alone gives the place a 10. Also: * Impeccable cleanliness * Good location right next to the old town * Several parking spots available

* There is no refrigerator/minibar or kettle in the room.

The owner mitko met me at the bus station at 21.00 hrs which was very good, there is nothing he doesn't know about plovdiv or indeed bulgaria. The hotel is on the edge of the old town.he also took me back to the bus station when I left, much cheaper than a taxi would have been.would not hesitate to stop here again.

Spacious twin room immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds and good shower. Efficient and quiet air conditioning. Right on the edge of the old town in a quiet little street. Ideal location to explore the cobbled streets of the old town and to wander over to Kapana for the buzz of the bars and restaurants. Felt perfectly safe walking home late at night. Mitko is the perfect host - full of helpful tips for points of interest and places to eat and drink. A fascinating man of great character who provided a home cooked vegan breakfast for us each morning. Thanks Mitko and hope to see you again.

Nothing ! The rooms are much nicer and brighter than they appear on the photos.

Mitko the host was an absolute treasure and went over and above to ensure everything was as perfect as could be.

Unfortunately we left at 1.30am because we had to drive to Sofia for an early flight this resulted in us needing an early night for the journey unfortunately for us other guests were arriving whilst we were trying to rest which was difficult due to the noise. This was nobody's fault but I feel is worth a mention in case others should find themselves in a similar situation.

Centrally situated within walking distance from the city centre and the Trap :) Spacious clean rooms with comfy beds and pillows - best night's sleep I've had for a long time. The host is in a league of his own - a certified sommelier who knows all the best gourmet spots in town and can offer tips for any taste and occasion. He made us feel most welcome and at home - will definitely visit again!

too short a visit ;) a lot more to be seen in the town.

It's a cosy little hotel located right in the historical part of Plovdiv, very near the Roman stadium. The owner personally handles all the guests and ensures the comfort of their stay. Very easygoing and providing all kinds of helpful information. Pro tips: First, there is a small backyard where one can store their motorbike. Second, the owner is a certified sommelier, so if you like wine, please talk to him - you won't be disappointed.
