We stayed there just 1 night but I really wish we could stay more... The ambient inside the room was so cozy & 80's. We had to leave the hotel early and I requested them to prepare breakfast for us and they were so kind to bring some sandwhices and brownies to our room. ☺️ I highly appreciated this move! Definitely a place I would want to go again. Keep up the good work!

For the price, this hotel is unbeatable. It offers a great location and comfortable rooms. Everything was nice and clean. The room included a mini-fridge, a kettle, and tea/coffee. The bathroom was spacious. The heating functioned perfectly.

Two things might be better: 1) there was low water pressure in the shower; 2) it would be nice to have some fruits for breakfast. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. On the whole it was a quiet location - there is a downstairs restaurant so there is some noise and road noise too particularly from motorbikes. The exit/entrance system is solely by code number - no physical key. The hotel is clean and the toiletries provided are good (room serviced every day but towels not changed)

Very few staff around except breakfast time so if you need to find out/ask something it is a bit limited. Breakfast is typical Bulgarian - no cereals, no fruit, no cake/croissant and everyday identical. There is a boiled egg everyday but it is served chilled and one day served raw so beware. The meat/cheese is Ok but beware all the food in Sofia is very salty which is normal for them. The shower water could be a little warmer on the maximum setting.

Breakfast on the first day was a plate of cold cuts, cheeses, slices of cucumber and tomatoes, 2 slices of bread and some spreads. Very Nordic but quite adequate. A small shot of dark coffee was served. A bigger cup of coffee would have been better. I requested a boxed breakfast for the second day as I had to leave for the airport early. This was forgotten altogether and I had to leave without breakfast.

Unfortunately, I could not try the restaurant attached to the hotel on both days I was at Family Hotel Agoncev. Tried making reservations early but was told the restaurant was full both evenings. The bedspread and throw pillows could be changed. They are dated and have seen better days.

I stayed in Family Hotel Agoncev for one night . The room is very clean. The dinner in the restaurant is very delicious and special. The restaurant was fully booked. The waiter was very nice and allowed me to order as ToGo. The breakfast is fresh and great. Mostly I like to give my thanks to the owner’s son, he speaks fluent English and helps me in many ways including giving me tourist suggestions and calling taxi for me. Without his help I would miss my flight this afternoon. I really appreciate his hospitality.

The location is a little far from the city center but worth the value

The location was very close to the city center and close to the famous street Vitosha, a few minutes walking. Also close to metro and trolley stations. The room was very beautiful, large and clean. The bathroom was the biggest that I have ever seen. The neighbourhood was very quiet and safe. The young man at the reception was very friendly and polite! Thank you so much Simon you were very kind!

The breakfast was a disaster! There were only 5 poor options to select to be served and nothing more. If you are a fun of buffet, this is not your hotel. There was a coffee machine with good coffee

Very good position in city center, at walking distance from the Vitosha blvd pedestrian segment, the main state institutions, and Alexander Nevsky cathedral. Quiet place. Very good furnishing and amenities but the room is quite small.

The parking was extra 30BGN at a 5min to walk distance. You pay at the hotel and the car registration number is transmitted to the parking where an operator assigns you a place. When you live the parking, the car number is automatically recognized and the barrier is opened without the operator intervention (actually in the morning the parking operator was missing). The breakfast was very basic. I selected from few options a Bulgarian breakfast. After 15min I received a small piece of cheese with jam and some pieces of fried brad. Tea/coffee/chocolate is from the machine.

A lovely family hotel in a quiet residential area near the National Palace of Culture where my 4 day event was held. Facilities excellent and room had air conditioning which was appreciated as it was very warm weather. Cosy patio area for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Walk in shower was ideal. Had tea and kettle in room and the fridge was an added bonus!!!!

Not being conversant with the language made it difficult to have in depth conversations.

Small hotel situated about 10 mins from NDF metro (national palace of culture). The lady on the desk was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was small but very clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice shower and plenty of towels. Kettle in the room and fridge with drinks etc. Breakfast was made fresh with a good selection of drinks.

My only comment would be to provide milk so 'english tea' could be made for us English!

Very comfortable mattress. Very simple but cosy room. The bathroom was nice and very tidy. I loved the ceramic electric kettle. The breakfast was good and enough, which ensured little wastage. The facilities were good overall. The only issue is that you could sometimes hear the voices next door. The proximity to the central parts of Sofia was great - close to the centre but in a quiet area.

Just the voices coming through from next door. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit for breakfast.
