Superb location, two minute walk away from literally everything. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Didn't get the breakfast so no idea on that one. Area felt safe as well, there are a few pubs in 2 minute walk distance so thats a plus too. Payed 40 euros a night for a room for two. A serious bargain for that price, would stay again.

I personally prefer windows that open all the way but its not a dealbreaker.

We had a good sized room with large comfortable bed. Room (including bathroom) was clean and well-appointed. Location is perfect for visiting Sofia, being just off Vitosha Boulevard with its many bars and restaurants. We visit Sofia regularly and always stay at the Thracia. We've tried some other hotels, but not nearly so good in terms of comfort, friendliness and location.

I am a regular guest in the hotel, for more than 15 years. Great location, quiet area although in the middle of the city and very close to Vitosha Blvd. The hotel is renovated and rooms are very nice. Another point -there is a parking for a reasonable price in an erea which is dificult to find a parking space. Wi-Fi is effective. Breakfast is fair.

In the past, breakfast was one of the tastiest ever i had in this kind of urban hotels. After a long period the hotel was close for renovation and the lockdown because of Covid 19, the managmant had change the location of the breakfast hall and now it is located in tha small lobby. Now everything is less atrractive and the food seems to be somehow dull. Also the amenities are less atractive then before. Still, very good hotel.

Excellent Location! Friendly staff!

Don't be fooled by the humble reception and small elevator. The staff were lovely and spoke English well. When we got the room, it was very spacious and comfortable. Admittedly, they were not as good as the photos (the photographer is very good), but honestly it was bigger than I expected after seeing the reception. The bathroom was also bigger than expected. The bed was comfortable and the AC did its job well. The room was cleaned to a good standard every day. The location is the best part. It is close to Vitosha Blvd and major trams servicing the city. There is also a metro station about 15 min walk. We did not have any difficulty getting to major attractions in Sofia. For example, the Red Flat (must-visit_ is just a block away,

It's a bit expensive for what you get, but that is the price of staying in a prime location. The downside of being close to Vitosha Blvd is that it be noisy at night. The breakfast was sufficient, but it was limited and became repetitive if staying for more than 3 days.

Hotel is located just by Vitosha street, in the city center. It was clean and the staff was very professional. It has enough facilities and the parking is with valet. The room was spacious enough, looking good and the bed was confortable. Breakfast was good.

The hotel has no restaurant, which is not a big deal because you're very close to many, but not even a bar of its own. The breakfast space is very small and I wonder what would happen in case of full hotel. I would add more types of eggs for breakfast, at least (they had only boiled).

Excellent location with a delicious breakfast & friendly staff. The room was beautifully appointed & very cozy. WiFi worked perfectly & so did the TV which seems to be hit or miss nowadays (cable, so logging into apps like Netflix/etc isn’t required). Julian was extremely warm at both check in & checkout. The breakfast area is small as other reviews have mentioned, but we never had an issue finding a table, & there is also outdoor seating. I’d imagine waiting until 1030 when breakfast ended would be a bit challenging, so don’t wait until the end. Overall a perfect stay!

Everything was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were very pleased that the Rosslyn Thacian Hotel were able to take us in at such a late hour (11:30) after a long flight and long wait for our luggage at the airport. The room was very quiet and spacious. We had a wonderful nights sleep and awoke the next morning fully refreshed. The bath was very clean with wonderfully hot water for showers on cold winter days. The breakfast bar was really great and we enjoyed our breakfast. All was good here and we are looking forward to staying here again.

Location was perfect in a quiet side street, just a few steps from the main drag. Plenty of restaurants, bar, shops and nightlife within a few minutes stroll. Friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. Clean, spacious and quiet room overlooking the back of the hotel. Comfy bed. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, so cannot comment on this.

Nothing in particular comes to mind. The hotel didn't appear to have too many in the way of facilities (we were there for a quick overnighter) but this in my opinion is fairly typical for many city centre hotels with oodles of bars, restaurants, clubs etc on their doorstep.

It was a nice, cozy place to stay in a great location. The room was clean, the breakfast was fulfilling and tasty, and the staff was extremely friendly.

It was warm in March, and their air conditioner only supported the heat mode during this period. The open window barely saved this situation, and it was uncomfortably hot in the room for quite some time.
