- i found it embarrassing for the hotel to charge around 30 Lev for 1 day for the Parking because we made the reservation through Booking. We booked a suite, and it is ridiculous to charge customers for Parking. Its also sad to receive information that for other customers which book directly with the hotel the parking if free ! In other words if you book via booking you are paying for parking which makes no sense at all and is unacceptable Very pathetic policy and a reason for us to never visit this hotel again when in Sofia

Rooms are amazingly large and impressive. Spotless and comfortable. Highly recommended although potentially rather expensive compared to other properties.

The only hiccup to this property is that access to the Spa (eg swimming pool) is NOT included. A pass for 3 hours can be bought and it is not cheap. Reception accepted that Booking.com mobile app does not state this in their small print and it is through the app that I booked this property. The property must be fully transparent as to this additional charge because it causes significant disappointment.

Spacious room, lovely hotel bar, and the spa was excellent

There’s an additional €40 charge to use the spa which seems a little overpriced - would have expected a discounted or complementary spa session for guests. The staff were lovely, however I did somewhat resent being charged €8 to simply provide me with some ice in the room.

Super clean and very big room. The housekeeping was excellent. The staff in reception wad nice and helpful, the staff at breakfast was nice. Although I would expect more help with the siting arrangement for all 6 of us. And it would have Been nice if the staff would asked Occasionally if we need something But they didn't. Just an overall personal preference in my perspective. . The hotel is very big and has a lot of hidden gems

One room had weird noise from time to time and it bothered during the night. My parents were offered to change a room. But they are old and disabled so decided unfortunately to stay and suffer a little from that noise. Personally didn't like the smell in the Lobby. Would prefer a more gentle one... again this is a personal preference.

Should more clearly written that use of swimming pool.is 40.euro.per.person. Everything else is perfect.

Great location, high end luxury and clean hotel!. Large room (we had the corner room on the 9th floor with nice view). Loved the choice of restaurants onsite , especially the Asian restaurant, which was great! Michael ftom the Asian restaurant was super helpful and accomodating (unlike other hotel employees). Grand cafe was also a nice place to grab something in a chill vibe. Overall we enjoed our stay and it is a nice and upscale hotel (though quite a bit more expensive). Some family members enjoyed the onsite casino (less my thing to do 😊)

Although our room was nice and big, the water pressue of the douche in the shower was not great. Hotel brought someone to check it after we called but nothing really changed (but not that bad). Staff generally are not very pleasant, especially in the Spa reception and some in the front desk. It lessens the experience (especially for such a higher end hotel). Hotel Pool costs extra and not just a litte extra.We personally did not like the Breakfast Buffet (and its 24 eur per person). For me it was totally not worth it, much prefer going to the Grand cafe and ordering a smoothe bowl , coffee etc.

I recently stayed at Grand Hotel Millennium and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the location was convenient. The ambiance was definitely upscale, and it had a luxurious feel throughout.

That said, I do feel the pricing was on the higher side. While I expected a premium for a nicer stay, almost every facility—whether it was the spa, pool, or even movies—came with an additional charge. For the price per night, I would have expected more of these amenities to be included. If you’re looking for a comfortable, stylish place and don’t mind paying extra for the extras, this place will suit you well. But if you’re budget-conscious or expect everything to be all-inclusive, this might not be the best value for money.

Hotel is lovely - room was huge and spotlessly clean. Beds super comfortable, towels and robe super soft and nice to have slippers and a great drinks making station. Cracking shower and bath. Our stay would have been fantastic bar two things. 1. We were pretty much ignored by reception staff on arrival despite there being about 5 people seemingly free. No one was around to help with luggage and staff seemed quite surly. Im no hotel snob but a welcome and how can i help makes a big difference. 2. There was loud dance music coming from one of the bars late into the night which kept the kids awake which was a shame as it spoilt sleep in what was otherwise a super comfy room and bed.

The staff was phenomenal, from the check-in counter: Anthony and Petya to The Concierge desk: Gunnay and Anelia. They were all outstanding and did not stop short of ensuring my family and I were comfortable and had what we needed. I cannot recommend this hotel more. The restaurants available were all great, and we tried them all.

I don’t have anything negative to say. But if I was forced to answer, then I’d say I didn’t like being charged a fee to for room service to bring empty bowls for my daughter to have her cereal.

It’s a really lovely hotel True 5 🌟 I’ve stayed in lots of 5 stars svs this was up there with the best. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Our 2 Rooms were very large and had everything we needed. The bar on the 29th floor was lovely and quite an impressive view across the city. Prices weren’t too bad either for a 5 star. The pool is not included in the price of the hotel which was something I’ve not seen before. We had to pay for the 5 of us to use it but tbh it’s an actual Spa so that’s why. We did all use it at €40 each ( 5 of us as a family) & it was a nice experience very relaxing. Location is good you can walk to the restaurants. There is Not much in Sofia generally but there is an area where there’s lots of places to eat & drink.

Just could do with some more free water in the rooms and a bit more milk / tea bags for the stay.
