Nice and Morden hotel, good choice for breakfast. Close to Terminal 1 - less 10 minutes walk. Terminal 2 - some 25 minutes walk

I arrived at 23:00 at Terminal 2 and called the hotel on the only number Booking.Com advised - no answer. I had no choice but to walk to the hotel through the empty airport warehouses area. It was fine for single man, but for a women / family it wouldn’t be enjoyable. It the reception I was told it was another phone number to call the shuttle bus. So you may want to get the number in advance ))))) and it would be great if the number would be given by a message from the hotel

The staff for the shuttle to and from the airport are very friendly and easy to work with. They are very committed to get you back and forth efficiently. They also took me back to the airport so I could catch the metro to the city center and then picked me up in the early evening from the airport to get back to the hotel. The hotel breakfast was great and I also noticed if you had an early flight, they would fix a "to-go" bag for you. Good wifi and nice clean rooms

Just an interesting situation which was this: Check in time was 3 pm. I arrived at 2:36 pm. and was told I needed to wait until 3 to check in. It just seemed funny as I generally am allowed a bit of an early check-in especially 20 minutes. It was obvious that my room was ready so that wasn't the issue. Not a big deal but just kind of funny.

We wish to share our experience with the IBIS sofia airport hotel in Bulgaria. We stayed there several times during the last few years. We especially liked the renovated rooms- clean and bright. But the real Gem is the staff. The deputy Mariya is of high quality of service. it was amazing to see how under pressure and demands she keeps giving a personal and eficient service. We also witnessed how she motivates other staff memebrs for high performance. Such was Illan under her supervision. To summarize- a perfecrt stay before flying from Sofia's airport, highly recommanded.

A fitness room can be useful

The breakfast was very good. The second room I was given was much better than the first one, and on the quieter side of the building, away from the busy traffic noise. So overall a good experience and close to the airport, which was perfect and the free shuttle a huge bonus!

The first room I was given (401) was very dirty and the door didn’t close, plus very noisy from the street traffic. However they gave me a different room, which was quiet and much cleaner, though the walls and rugs still had many dirty smudges, which did give me an overall dirty feel.

Thanks to the staff which is awsomely nice and helpful, especially restaurant and check in were impeccable as always

I stayed at the hotel from 14th till 15th of January 25 . Outside it was like -6 and apparantly a poor cat got inside the hotel (the staircases) in Order to warm up a bit. A pretty much arrogant lady , i presume she was the manager, came up to the reception and shouted, insulted the staff, in front of all the guests of the hotel, because of that cat….besides that you dont shout in front of customers neither do you attack verbally the people that are working for you like that. Bad example for Ibis Sofia Airport, bad example for Accor Group

A little dated room, but the price was good. The location is great. And shuttle bus running very efficiently. I got a message with clear instructions on how to book pick up from the airport. And it works very well. Great selection on breakfast.

A/C wasn't cold enough. For the airport hotel, I would expect breakfast to start early than 7 am. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, but I had a bad experience when I tried to order dinner from a hotel restaurant. The person who took order was extremely rude.

The perfect hotel for Sofia Airport. A very clean contemporary hotel with interesting retro designs around the reception, bar and restaurant areas. The staff were excellent with them being friendly, helpful and efficient (and English speaking). Food was excellent, especially the very extensive included breakfast. Free shuttle service to and from the airport is also freely available, although the terminals are actually in walking distance. Cheap long stay car parking at the hotel can be booked through associated company Parkgo. Recommended!

This airport IBIS is perfect for an overnight stay when taking a flight the next day. The airport shuttle service is fast and convenient. We used it both to get to the hotel (call and they pick you up, no need to book ahead) because we had come in from Plovdiv on an airport shuttle, and to take flights the next day. The rooms are comfortable for an overnight stay. The windows effectively block out airplane noise when shut. But you can hear noisy fellow guests in the halls. Breakfast, cafeteria style, is good and varied. We also ate supper in the hotel, and it was very convenient

Rooms are all marked non-smoking but some previous guest had clearly been smoking in the bathroom of my unit and the smell still stuck to everything. Had to keep the bathroom door shut

Friendly and helpful crew. Possible booking transfer from/to Sofia Airport for free - fast and on time. Delicious breakfast (I took take away - early flight). Room was clean, silent with all needs facilities (electric kettle and fridge). Easy and fast check-in/check-out. Special thanks for posibility early check-in before 15:00. Stable Wi-Fi connection. To city centre can use bus #84 or #184 directly from Sofia Airport or from hotel (ca. 7 mins walk) - bus stop Aleksandrija. This hotel is very good option for citybreak. Thank you! :-)

Great location for flight connections or short stays, free shuttle service is very convenient , reception staff are very professional and courteous.

Breakfast service could be slightly more organised as there were many empty items not replenished like serviettes , jams, cutlery. However , saying that, staff were quick to respond and provide the missing items after asking them. So overall I was happy with the available choices ans food quality
