Central location

Some of the decor was a little dated and one of your windows, which faced the river, was covered, presumably for painting, but this was disappointing as the view was restricted to the side and we had chosen this hotel for the views it promoted.

The location couldn’t be more ideal! The state park directly abuts the hotel property, and it is an easy walk to view the American falls and to reach Maid off the Mist, in addition to being centrally located in the downtown area. We didn’t need to drive anywhere. Our room was super quiet, despite renovations. The front end check in staff were very pleasant and offered a couple of restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was good - plenty of options to choose from. We’d definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others.

The only unpleasant staff that we encountered was a young lady that was walking the hallway and swinging her keys/badge on a lanyard back and forth that was hitting doors along the way. Might’ve been an unintentional habit of hers, but she also didn’t excuse herself or apologize when we opened the door thinking it was being knocked on. Instead she just stared, gave an unpleasant look, and went along her way continuing to swing her lanyard.

Great location, steps from the entrance of the National Park, could hear the waterfall at night with river-view rooms.

It was highlighted a free outdoor parking on an ad by Comfort Inn on the Travel Guide for Niagara Falls, while the staff asked us (in a super low voice) to pay USD10 for outdoor parking. When we objected, the staff said "forget about it (the charge)". We ended up didn't have to pay, but overheard some customers complained among themselves that they were asked to pay for parking and they paid. The company should look into this issue.

The location is amazing. Within walking distance of all the Niagara Falls highlights, making for a great place to relax in-between outings. Also plenty of food available in the area. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly.

The bathroom door was offset a bit, so it couldn't close. This actually didn't bother us at all and we didn't complain or anything or I'm sure the staff would have assisted us, but it's the only negative I can think of - everything was great!

The location of the hotel was breathtaking, set in a picturesque area that made the entire visit even more enjoyable. We had breakfast, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. As for the room, it was comfortable and well-equipped, with a cozy atmosphere and excellent amenities that made our stay relaxing. The combination of a prime location, satisfying breakfast, enough parking and pleasant room made the whole experience truly unforgettable.

One issue we encountered was that the towels were not replenished as frequently as expected, despite making multiple requests. It was a bit frustrating, as we had hoped for more consistent service in this regard to ensure a more comfortable stay.

The best aspect of this hotel is location, location, location! It is a quick walk to Niagara State Park and Goat Island. Easy to walk down the river on the Shoreine Trail, too, to see how the river goes from calm waters to raging rapids ~ so amazing. You can also walk to Canada, less than a mile across the bridge. Of course, that means the car trip into Canada is short and easy as well. Finally, the hotel is within walking distance to cute shops and good restaurants. The room is comfortable and clean, breakfast is good, the price is reasonable, and the staff are super~friendly. However, location wins the day!

I see no real negatives to this hotel. It is not the most up-to-date, but it is comfortable. We rested well between our touring.

Very nice room. The friendly guy at the reception desk was very helpful and stored my luggage until my room was ready (I arrived already at noon) and gave me recommendations for lunch. The location is just perfect. A few minutes walk to the american falls and goat island. About 20 minutes to walk to the Canada (over the Rainbow Bridge). I only had half a day in the region so this place was perfect to explore the falls!

The only bad thing about the room were the windows. They were sliding windows that could move only a few centimeters, not enough to get fresh air in. This also made it hard to get the room cool during the night... The breakfast was a little odd experience. It was served in the basement and was very crowded. A second room was nearby but it was dark. At some point a few guest who could not find a seat in the main room figured out were to turn on the lights by themselves. For most of the time there was no staff present. Also very disturbingly the cutlery and even the plates and cups where single use plastic! After breakfast I literary had to throw everything into the trash bin. This is insane!

Location, location, location….there is NOT a better place for visiting and staying at the Niagara Falls than the Comfort Inn. You are literally across the street from the Falls, can see the mist from the hotel and hear the falls. The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Room was nicely appointed. Full assortment for breakfast (eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, cereals, breads, yogurts, juices, tea/coffee, etc.) Wide range of dining options within one or two blocks around the hotel to include the Arcade (great burgers), Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, many food trucks; however, because of the tourist location some of the established restaurants are a bit pricey. If you want to take a day trip into Canada the border crossing point (Rainbow Bridge) is two blocks from the hotel and costs $5.00 (paid on the U.S. side) to cross; no cost for coming back. The Rainbow Bridge pedestrian path is an amazing spot to take perfect pictures of the entirety of the falls.

There is nothing that we didn’t like about the Comfort Inn at the Pointe.

The position is excellent, very close to the Falls and the Visitor Center. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet.

The breakfast room was very crowded, it seemed inadequate for the number of guests. The breakfast itself was standard for chain hotels. The receptionist at our arrival was detached and not really interested in welcoming guests. But otherwise our stay was fine.

The hotel is in an excellent location, you can get out of it and the waterfalls are right next to it, as well as Goat Island. There are restaurants near the hotel and excellent pizza across the road. The hotel provides free parking for guests and there is plenty of parking, so even if you want to get to Maid of the Mist, it is a few minutes walk away.
