The location of this hotel is beyond expectations. With the panoramic view from their rooftop we didn't need to pay extra for other panoramic view platforms. The heated swimming pool on the roof offers an extra enjoyment. It was comfortable to swim even in October while enjoying the marvelous view of Montreal at night. The rooms we clean, beds were comfortable, and it was a pleasant stay overall.

We really enjoyed our stay, I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Perhaps a pair of slippers in the room would be nice. The bathrobe was provided, but the slippers were not there.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It’s one of my new favourites. The design was beautiful and the room was wow! Very clean and I’m very picky about cleanliness. Also, I loved the lighting on the bathroom mirror. It made me want to buy one for my bathroom! Everything about my stay felt luxurious and comfortable. I even loved the coziness of the bed. Finally, the attention to detail with the Montreal-themed art was such a nice touch. I even took a photo of the wallpaper in the closet to show everyone that I know (it had a pattern of iconic landmarks of places all around Montreal), because it was so impressive!

The location isn’t that close to a metro. Not a huge deal, but it’s also not in the liveliest location and very quiet at night in the winter. Though the summer is probably different. Also, as an FYI payment can only be made with a credit card (they don’t accept debit) and the hotel takes a $75 deposit. It wasn’t a huge deal, but should be made known in advance so people aren’t inconvenienced.

Spacious and comfortable room. The bar and pool on the roof were great providing a paronamic view of old Montreal.

A card on the bed told us that room cleaning would only happen every third day, which we were quite happy about, but when we returned to our room on the first day they had been in, which was annoying as we had left things lying around which we wouldn't if we knew someone was coming in. There was no card to put on the door for privacy so they came in the next day as well. Also they changed the sheets and we then had a sheet with a rip right in the middle of the sheet.

Location was great as we wanted to be close (walking distance) to Old Montreal. The service was amazing. The staff answered all our questions and were extremely pleasant. The room was very clean and the shower and toilet were working very well ( last few hotels we stayed at had some problem with bathroom or something else!) the bed was comfortable. Lighting was good. Free complimentary drink. Access to top floor/pool had an amazing view. No carpet in room.

The bathroom could have used a few more hooks/towel holders. Only one hook on back of door and one small towel holder on shower door. Firmer pillows.

Very spacious room, bed extremely comfortable and big; Shower one of the best we've ever tried and the fact that the hotel provides an ice machine made the experience even better. The rooftop view is fantastic and we enjoyed watching the sunset there a couple of times.

I felt the need of more hangers in the room and the washroom, sometimes was hard to hang the towels and etc. Also missed a table for meals and more seating areas, although the chair were exceptionally comfortable. The view was not the best but we had two large windows which led to nice sighthings.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was stellar. The rooftop pool and bar was the perfect setting for a spectacular view in a quiet setting.The hotel restaurant provided very good food and the hotel was in a great location to walk everywhere in Old Montreal and also close to the metro station to go further exploring the city. We would book there again.

Better description of how to enter the car park - but plenty of parking under the hotel once we identified that the garage door opens once the car approaches.

Wonderful location! Very clean, and the staff were kind. Gorgeous hotel and the rooftop pool area was divine.

Parking could use better signage. We drove around the block twice and even when we found the right place, we had to ask a staff member who just happened to be out there during a break in order to find it. Even then, we had to drive into a closed garage door that did open, but I would not have known that had the staff member not been there. Also, the Pub Cartier Arms was very nice and the service was fine, but it did seem like breakfast service was a bit frantic. This is not a reflection on the staff, who were wonderful. It just felt like there should have been more servers scheduled for breakfast. (We had breakfast there twice—midweek—and both services seemed to need more staff.)

Very comfortable hotel in a great location. It's about 10 minutes to Old Montreal (central square) and lots of options for restaurants and bars. I'd personally skip the hotel restaurant. It was expensive for okay food/drinks.

My expectations are never super high when I book a room in a big hotel chain. The Hyatt Centric in Old Montreal made me rethink my rule of thumb. From the staff to the gym to the rooftop pool to the super comfortable bed, everything was A+! Location: nestled in behind Gare Viger within a short walking distance to the Old Port and Old Montreal, the hotel is removed enough from the hustle and bustle of the touristic area and close enough for everything to be accessible by foot. Facilities: Hotel is almost brand new. There is as a modern flair to it. There is an open room right beside the front office where people can chill. Decorated with taste with a long table and plenty of chairs. The gym is well equipped for a hotel gym. The rooftop pool is really nice (I'm sure it can get crowded fast but there weren't many people when I went) and offers great views of the city. Rooms: I booked a "king room high floor". Very clean, very decent size, bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was big enough to sleep in! No issues whatsoever for two people to get ready at the same time. There were two chairs, a mini fridge, an iron and ironing board.

Everything was perfect.

Overall, the hotel is very good, with a good location and impeccable cleanliness. The staff were nice, and the a la carte breakfast was very good!

I have one suggestion regarding breakfast organization. Despite numerous empty tables, the waitress left us waiting for a while, as she did with other guests. This can be frustrating, especially for those with scheduled outings. When we choose an included breakfast, it’s usually to avoid hassle and save time before heading out for activities. While the a la carte service does take some time, the additional wait before being seated can be inconvenient. Aside from this, everything else was perfect.
