The placement is awesome, right in the center of the city, with a supermarket just in front. The room was big and really clean, nice beds. Our room did not have AC but we didn't need it. It has hot water in the shower. They offer great tours with the best prices, and Mauricio the guide was just amazing. I forgot my ebook there when I left and they helped me to get it back by sending it to me with other tourist couple, which was nice of them. Overall it's a really nice place, I recommend it.

For one of our tours (Rio Celeste) , the guide didn't show up and they sent us there anyway and "put" us with another guide from another company and he didn't explain anything to us, they just let us there to do the hike by ourselves. When we came back to the hostel they didn't refund us or anything (not even parcial refund) even though we paid for a guided tour.

Great value! It’s so nice to find an inexpensive place to sleep and shower. The staff is helpful and has lots of information about things to do in Fortuna.

Our mini fridge was actually a freezer so it froze our fruit but there is a large community refrigerator in the common area that is available for use. We struggled to find the address but found it easily when we used the Lat/Long coordinates

Location, safe secure parking for my motorcycle, quiet and a pretty good breakfast with AC and a common kitchen with fridge. Great value for the $.

The initial meeting with the owner when I checked in was not very inviting. No smile, no smalltalk, he just opened the room door and walked away back to his office, not a word. I stayed 5 days in his establishment and his attitude slowely improved. So I presume he was just having a bad day when I checked in. Maybe a few days off would help.

Good location near the bus stop. Free breakfast and coffe. They have a small outdoor kitchen that works ok. A bit of view of the Vulcano arena from upstairs balcony there we had our room. Warm water in shower.

They didn't clean room or empty our toilet trash bin in our 3 day stay. Other places we had did that every day. So thats the only thing to say.

Good price for what you get. Supermarket in front of the cabinas. I can recommend you to book a tour at the cabinas, they are personal and pretty cheap compared to other tour companies. The breakfast is ok.

There is a lot of noice the whole morning, day and evening. At night it was ok. A bedside lamp would be nice.

The location is great. Accessible to everything.

T'was very hot and humid during our stay, which I didn't expect so I did not book a room with AC and I regret that. I would recommend booking the room with AC during the dry season.

The breakfast was plentiful. Coffee great. The location is very convenient. Close to everything. I took their trip to the falls , lava trail and hot springs. Small group, friendly guide. I would do it again.
