Description on Booking inaccurate - rather refer to their website. We thought we booked a “Deluxe Villa - Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned villa consists of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. This villa features a washing machine, flat-screen TV with streaming services, garden views, as well as chocolate for guests. The unit offers 1 bed.” But it is just a bedroom with en-suite and a bedroom door, located in a property with shared facilities like a kitchen and laundry. Our room had no privacy as glass door leads to communal garden and kitchen which is also used as reception. Synthetic / poly bed linen.

This is one of our favourite stays in CR. We had such a lovely welcome. This wonderful hotel is located close to everything right in the Center of La Fortuna but still very quiet. The owners help us organise a few amazing trips for cheap prices and gave us good information about the area. The shower felt like spa. The kitchen even had spices free to use and the staff was super friendly!

As a group of 5 we found that this villa was perfect for our stay in La Fortuna! It was our longest stay in one place in Costa Rica and we all felt very comfortable with plenty of rooms for each of us. 1. Jorge the villa manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond with recommendations on what to do and where to go, he was extremely understanding and responsive with any requests we had and always checked in to make sure all was good at the villa, he also helped us secure transportation with a trusted driver to take us around Costa Rica 2. The villa is located in the perfect spot on the edge of the main square. The town is fully walkable from the location and we felt very safe going and coming 3. To enter the main door and any of the rooms there is a password protected keypad, so you feel very safe 4. There are washers and dryers and a full kitchen 5. Cleaning took place each day 6. Each room is air-conditioned 7. There are security cameras in each of the corridors and kitchen/courtyard area

The rooms were small but worked perfectly for our group of three. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. The location was also amazing. The hotel was close to restaurants and right downtown La Fortuna but still in a relatively quiet area. The staff was amazing and we were able to leave our bags safely in the hotel while we explored la fortuna before our shuttle showed up. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Shared lobby bathroom would be awesome if you need to use a washroom that’s not in your room.

This exceeded our expectations! From the friendly arrival (with coco loco!) to the jacuzzi, the friendly & efficient cleaning staff, and the excellent communication, our stay was perfect. Such comfortable beds! We also loved sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds buzzing around the garden. Location close to the main square with easy access to restaurants and shops. There is a small mini fridge and coffee maker in the room, and the spotless shared kitchen has everything else you need.

Door codes are used for both the main gate and the 7 rooms. Our door code was so easy we could have guessed the others (though I may be wrong!), so perhaps using a more difficult combination would improve security. With that said, we never felt unsafe!

Very nice, clean, modern, with a nice touch. Beautiful garden, small patio for each room. Coffee was available in room for free. Option to do your laundry (great idea!). Small jacuzzi in the garden and kitchen + relaxing area were cool. Welcome with cold coconut water was very nice in a hot day after long drive! Highlight was to see hummingbirds in the patio directly from the bed :)

Room was bit small. Not a lot of space for suitcase, clothes and others.

My wife and I visited in early December 2023, and I can't say enough about how great Suwa Villa was. The location is excellent, safe, and near plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was clean, cozy, modern, and had A/C. The hotel has a shared kitchen outfitted with all the necessary equipment. There is even a washer and dryer for guests to use. I also can't compliment the owners, Jorge and Allan, enough. They are very knowledgeable about the area and helped us choose and book our activities. They welcomed us with fresh coconut water and made our stay very pleasant. They really care for their guests. We made wonderful memories at this hotel and appreciate all the wonderful things that Allan and Jorge did for us. We are looking forward to our next visit to this hotel.

We had a family reunion in CR. We booked 4 rooms in Suwa. It worked great for us. Excellent location with many food choices within walking distance. At the same time, it was really helpful to have a well equipped kitchen. It is also great to have access to a washer and dryer after hiking or hot springs. Super clean.

Snacks in the room to buy. Free or nothing. I would prefer nothing.

A fantastic new location within walking distance of the village square and streets with all the shops and restaurants. Super clean, neatly maintained and quiet room with a small private garden. Good wifi, TV with Netflix, Youtube etc. A kitchen that you can use and washing and drying machines with the associated washing capsules. The host is super friendly and helpful. Really recommended and value for money!

The hot tub was under maintenance and therefore unusable.

Wow, the property is so cute. I enjoyed my stay here. The room is gorgeous and they have mini bar. The hotel takes card and they have parking. Also they have recommended excursions you can take in or around La fortuna. And you can book and pay for said excursion at the hotel. And they have a small pool that’s very relaxing, plus two private patios

No lotion, and no bottled water refill during cleaning
