Very good facilities, free classes daily, tours readily available at front desk.

I had to leave a 5 star Google review for a towel.... My room was facing the road, extremely noisy because of the traffic which starts at 5am..............

Great location. Really lovely tram of staff who were helpful and available for any requests. The pool is great and needed for the hot day trips. It has a nice restaurant and bar area. The shared bathrooms and showers felt very clean.

The Teepee tents are small. It’s fine for one person but would be hot and small for 2.

The common area right above the river provides a beautiful view. The room is comfortable, breakfast is good (but not included), the pool area is very nice and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I also requested a deep-tissue massage that was amazing.

My room was very dimly lit and a little bit outdated. Everything works fine, but they could refresh them a bit for the price you pay or at least include breakfast. My room was near the washing machines area or something similar and it was noisy sometimes at night.

I stayed here for 6 nights and loved the property. Really nice pool and restaurant area, coworking space with really good wifi, yoga deck, saw so many animals there including a green iguana that was over 1m long and just walked up to the pool. The area is very well taken care of and people working there are extremely friendly.

The rooms are really small. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and at some point we had 5 people in the room and it was really chaotic as there was no space to put our bags on the floor and the lockers are barely big for the day-backpack to fit, so we were constantly “playing tetris” with our things there. This is of course just a minor thing and overall didn’t affect the stay so much because everything else was really awesome.

It is good place with good vibes, nice people around. I like their yoga shala and latina dancing class for free. I like the common kitchen and bar. But I didn't like my dorm room.

I did't like my dorm room 301. It was not comfortable. I stayed just one night and didn't want to stay any longer. Too small room, too low bed cabinas, not fresh air, no bathroom attached, very dark. I sow they have better rooms with atached bathroom and more light, just for 6 people. Maybe there are options. But my room was not good. I was suffering all night.

Very nice hotel. In the city of La Fortuna. Very nice common grounds - the pool, the restaurant, the bar. Walkable distance to shops, restaurants and all the nightlife. One of the best sodas in La Fortuna just next door. The room was not very big, but sufficiently comfortable. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - they can organise trips, transfers, etc. at a very short notice.

The room (we booked room with private bathroom) was rather small, but still sufficiently comfortable. Good value for money.

The common spaces are so beautiful and perfect atmosphere. Loved the pool/bar and the fire pit area where welcome drinks were held. This place was just very sociable with lots of opportunities to talk to other guests. The room I had was beautiful and very very clean. Breakfast included was great as well and made very well. It was super well situated by the town/bus station and the staff were friendly. I would definitely return!

The room I had didn't have great natural light and the bulbs were very dark. With the curtains open people would be able to see our stuff/us very easily because of where the room was which wasn't ideal so had to keep curtains closed most of the time. It was also not very sound proof so when people were sat down in hammocks outside our room it was so loud and you could hear every conversation which was annoying when you were trying to sleep. We didn't get fresh towels/change of sheets which was quite needed after a few days of hiking but this was possibly due to us not realising we had to put a sign on our door till leaving.

Great location, room was very comfortable, the breafast was excellent and the staff were eager to assist.

Could hear the traffic and garbage being taken out during the night but being in town not bad over all. Needs to be better insulated as big gaps between the sliding glass doors and under the door to the room so A/C escaping, room did stay cold though. Toilet and shower head needed maintenance but water pressure was good.

This is a great Selina, with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The pool and restaurant/bar were lovely to sit around and relax at. The place was clean and it was in a great location for the main town and also to get to Arenal volcano etc. They also have parking which was a plus! There was a fridge in the room which was a plus!

We were there on Easter weekend (Holy week here) and it was busy. Selina allow people to come and use the pool for free, which is great but it ended up turning it into a bit of a crèche. So many people came all weekend with their children, it really lost the hostel vibe. They also brought in their own food and drinks, even though we are told we couldn't. Think they need to review their policies! The food and drink is quite expensive for a hostel we thought!

Really good atmosphere in this hostel. I was travelling with a friend but still was able to meet and chat with other people in the hostel who were up for doing activities together! The pool was lovely to hang out by in the evening by the bar. Lots of activities in the area. The beds were comfortable and clean too.

There's not a lot of space in the 6 bed dorm but everyone in the room was neat and accommodating plus we were out most of the time so spent very little time in there.
