It’s a great location, where you can walk to just about everything. Plenty of restaurants/bars in the area. We opted for a room with just a small refrigerator, but they do have larger rooms . For us it was all we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Antonio was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. He gave us some very good information. The parking is inside a gated area where you can get in and out whenever you want. We would definitely stay here again.

I would say we are seasoned travelers and we have learned that overspending on the lodging is simply a waste of money. This place was perfect for the balance we were looking for. We wanted something affordable but comfortable. In la fortuna nature calls you and we were out all day exploring the area, we just needed a place to shower and sleep. The town has a lot of options for food and shopping. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot if you learn how to use the knob, tv was a plus. Having a fridge and full kitchen was definitely a plus. Staff was courteous and took the time to answer all our questions. If I return to La Fortuna will definitely stay there again.

Very good space that was well taken care of. Loved having outdoor access and a quiet location. Kitchen was functional with everything we needed and bed was comfortable. Nicely designed.

The bed placement was a little awkward as one side was directly against the window so if 2 people are using the bed one must either crawl to the bottom or over the other person.

Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Close to all the activities we planned. Felt safe here. Shower was lovely. They did our laundry for $8. Utility sink was perfect for rinsing out bathing suits.

Balcony chairs weren't comfortable. Couldn't hang wet clothes outside. Parking lot was very tight but locked so worth using.

Good location, it was quiet and still close to the main streets. It was walking distance to the bus station and restaurants. We felt really safe there. The room is clean and the staff was kind. Good air con and comfy bed. The beds were comfortable, the shower was ok. Having a fridge and full kitchen was a plus. ATM and a store for groceries close by.

Not much ventilation in the room. Noise at night from the neighbours.

Handy location, not in centre of town but easy walking distance. Good AC. Clean and tidy. Great soda around the corner.

Bed had only sheets, no blanket in case it got colder. Would have liked a blanket available in the room.

It is perfectly located. The soda (local type of restaurants) at the corner serves delicious food, you can also get a breakfast there for a very good price. The hotel itself is perfect for a short stay, the price is worth it. There is so much to do in the area that you wont have time to chill in the hotel :). The only problem we had is that we couldn’t dry our close after the rain, which was basically every day.

The rooms were clean, the sheets and towels were soft, the bed was comfortable. I liked that my car was safe at night. We were within walking distance to the center of town, shops, and restaurants.

The second room was way in the back and felt unsafe.

Pleasant and helpful host (niece of owner). Good air con and comfy bed. Clean facilities. Fridge and microwave useful. Felt like secure accomodation. We were able to extend our stay by a day easily so we could do other activities.

Location was a bit further out Vs others but still only 5 minutes walk along main road that felt safe.
