The location is excellent. The staff were super friendly. They also let me store my luggage while I got some lunch and went shopping.

It’s attached to a restaurant which can get a little loud, but with ear plugs I was fine. I didn’t use the pool because it’s literally next to the seating for the restaurant. Had a little bit of a hard time finding the place mostly because I was expecting a parking lot attached and the hotel only says Downtown, but eventually found it after reaching out to the hotel. I only stayed one night to explore downtown and I wouldn’t recommend a long stay. The traffic gets a little crazy.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful!! The food was delicious. A welcome drink was very welcoming and much needed. I enjoyed dinner there, night one. Excellent food and service for dinner and breakfast the next day. The pool is lovely. The location is perfect and close proximity to many things. It is also on pick up lists for tours and shuttles. The room was perfect size for 1 person. The bathroom is huge. Hot water was plentiful! The room was comfortable temp with their AC unit. I highly recommend staying here!

Loved it all! What’s not to like?

I liked everything about this little boutique hotel. We had breakfast and a dinner in the restaurant in the hotel, both meals were excellent. We had planned on dining at the Soda that is behind this property, however, they were closed on that Monday, so we just decided to dine at the hotel, which ended up being an excellent choice. It's too bad that we were only able to get the rooms for 1 night, so we had to stay at Monte Real for the other night for our 2 day stay in La.Fortuna.

It's too bad that the pool is not really usable, as it is right beside the restaurant. Looks more to be just an ornamental pool!

I liked the location of the property, the rooms were nice with a small balcony. I enjoyed the hotel restaurant. Very pretty ambiance with the hotel pool next to it. The first morning I enjoyed their breakfast buffet which was delicious. The next day, due to less clientele they offered breakfast to order which was just as good. The staff was very attentive. We also ate dinner at the restaurant. Reasonable prices with very tasty options. All the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. You will not be disappointed.

If you are on the second or third floor the hotel does not have an elevator.

The hotel was in a great location to find places to eat and walk around the shops. It was a 2 minute walk from the bus station too. The room was very clean and the balcony was a nice place to sit even when it was raining as it is covered. The staff were very helpful with booking tours & general advice and recommendations for the area. The breakfast was brilliant with lots of options for food.

The pool, whilst a nice temperature and generally very quiet, was that it was located right next to the restaurant / bar so it felt quite overlooked & there were no sun loungers to hang out on or to leave your belongings on.

Really cute little hotel in the heart of downtown. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of choice, and the restuarant and pool area was wonderful. Super comfy bed! There's a nice gift shop attached to hotel and options for spa packages and excursions to nearby places such as the hot springs and Mistico. I had a problem with my bank card during the stay and the manager Miguel went above and byond to help as much as possible, which saved us from potentially having a disasterous stay in La Fortuna!

Very dedicated room maid created every day different beautiful towel swan compositions, good location in the town center and very close to the tour operator Red Lava and bus station, large balcony with town view.

Breakfast system was very strange and slow. It was possible to choose from the menu only one food, that was included in room price and then wait a long time until you get it. All other food from the menu was for additional payment. Very uncomfortable considering, that many tourists go to tours early in the morning and do not have time to wait. In room was no safe box or cupboard.

Hotel is located in the center of town near of all animations, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. Breakfast was excellent and the Ventanita prepered one of the best burger on town. It must be mentioned the staff was super helpful and friendly. Mayfel, Miguel, Josha, Vanessa, and support staff provided an excellent services.

The only shortcoming was the network (Internet) was not consistence and realible.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was hard which is good for my back. I got hot water in the shower. Air con worked good. Breakfast was decent. Centrally located near several airports. Across the street from a park. Several restaurants nearby. Massage place 5 minute walk. Two gyms that are $4.00 US dollars entry are nearby. Miguel was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Hotel provides laundry for 5.00 per kilo

Staff all very helpful and kind. A little hard to find initially but once we found it, no problems. I love that it’s centrally located and easily walkable around town. Our room overlooked the church in center square and hearing the birds from the balcony in the morning was lovely. The attached restaurant is very good!!

The pool closes at pm which is frustrating as that was one of the deciding factors for booking this place. We didn’t know this until after check in. Also , the pool is attached to the restaurant so you definitely have an audience at all times.
