The hotel is in the Old Town center and surrounded by shops, restaurants, churches, art galleries and beautiful buildings. It’s a quick 5 minute walk to the underground train and 10 minute walk to the river. We were ungraded to a large suite that had a separate bedroom with a door. The room had an espresso machine, refrigerator, bar snacks/drinks. The bathroom was spacious and included bath salts, and other toiletries. There is a rooftop area where you can look out over the city and it’s amazing at night when the buildings are lit up. The daily breakfast was incredible and offered so many options including prosecco. I’ve never seen so many food options at a European breakfast. The staff was very efficient and friendly.

The only thing was that there was no overhead shower, it was a hand held sprayer on the wall and water would leak out all over the floor. You had to step into the tub, there’s no walk in shower. The tub was high and I had injured my knee so it was difficult for me. And no fan so the bathroom was steamy.

Breakfast was very delicious, fresh and very rich in every aspect extending from a variety of cheeses to pastries, from hot and cold drinks to eggs and what not. They even offered a glass of champagne to the guests during the breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, especially if you suffer chronic backache. Pillows were pretty comfy, too. The bathroom had everything one may need, including a bathroom scale as well. Our room (118) was overlooking a very busy square, but double windows prevent the noise coming from outside. There were earplugs, in case you need. While at check in and check out the receptionists were very kind. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who makes plans to visit Prague. I will schedule my next trip to Prague according to availability of rooms at Hotel Rott.

Nothing!

Location, location, location. Breakfast was also very good, and the bed was quite comfortable. Staff was excellent.

The breakfast staff was too efficient - everyday, they would try and take my empty water glass away when I just hadn’t gotten up to refill it yet. Very wasteful in terms of the amount of dishes used. Wish that they would replenish towels with the number that was in the bathroom. We asked for an extra towel for the first night (3 for 2 people). They took all 3 away and replaced with 2. Every single day we went through this. First world problems, I know, yet still annoying.

Great location. Excellent staff. Vast room. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely return when I get the chance.

I had the impression that the room (the Executive Suite) was only recently opened (because there were many, many shelves, but nothing on them - so the suite felt very empty) but if it’s “filled up” it will be great. That said, the Executive Suite is better for business use than for a holiday, because there is no balcony or outside space and the windows are small and inaccessible - also the glass roof in the bedroom area doesn’t have blackout blinds, so sleeping was difficult.

The hotel has an excellent location. All main attractions are within walking distance (Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Church of Our Lady before Tyn, Charles Bridge). The staff were friendly & always eager to assist. Special shoutout to the Front Office Manager, Mario who helped us to get an early check-in for one of our rooms. We really appreciate it as we just got off a 14-hour flight with missing luggages (they arrived later that day - Mario even sent our luggages up to our room when we were away on a tour in the afternoon). & the chocolates were a lovely welcome. The beds were one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in throughout our years of travelling. Keep up the quality services! We will definitely return to Hotel Rott when we visit Prague again.

Excellent place in the heart of Prague city. Charming old building, but very comfortable. The breakfasts are simply incredible, a huge selection of dishes and everything is very tasty. I have never encountered anything like this in my travels. I would like to especially thank the friendly and polite staff of the hotel, attentiveness and care, especially during breakfasts. Incredibly convenient accommodation, in the heart of the city. Getting from the airport is very convenient and not expensive at all (it is not necessary to spend money on a taxi, a trip by public transport (costing less than 2 euros) takes about half an hour. Once again I want to emphasize the attentiveness and care of the staff, especially during breakfast. The room is very comfortable, equipped with everything you need. Excellent shower, crystal clear towels and bed linen. A pleasant bonus - organic body care cosmetics, shampoos and gels of local production.

Poor ventilation in the bathroom, I think the problem can be solved by adding an air freshener.

If you want central Prague, it doesn’t come more central than this. The buffet breakfast was a vast selection, to suit every taste, including authentic Czech items and they offered sparking white wine served to guest if you fancied a bit of fizz to start the day. We wanted to keep clear heads, so declined that. Staff serving the breakfasts where very attentive and pleasant. The view from the roof terrace (no bar on the roof though) is shown in one of the photos I’ve added, though you need to ask reception team to allow you 6th Floor access in the lift.

The breakfast buffet area is a little cramped (though not where you eat), so at busy times it’s can be a bit tricky navigating the buffet.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The check-in process was swift and efficient, which I greatly appreciated after a long journey. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail, from the luxurious bedding to the high-quality toiletries provided. The view from my room was stunning and truly added to the overall experience. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The location of the hotel was ideal, situated close to major attractions and public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. The concierge service was exceptional, providing excellent recommendations and making reservations on my behalf. Overall, was outstanding. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made for a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone

This traditional hotel is perfectly situated on a small square adjacent to the main square in the Old Town, so easy walking distance to everything! Staff were great - attentive, efficient but relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms aren't huge, but very well equipped - good range of toiletries, air con, great shower, mini bar, safe, iron, slippers, three different pillows, complimentary water, nice coffee maker and chocolates on arrival etc etc.. (the only improvement might be a proper hair dryer rather than those insipid hotel bathroom ones!!) Very broad array of cold food at breakfast with hot eggs and sausage/bacon, amazing cakes too and prosecco if you want it!. All self-service (other than the prosecco) but never overly busy. It's beside The Hard Rock Cafe, but even though our room was at the front of the building, on the street, right next to the Cafe, the secondary glazing meant we didn't hear a thing! They kindly supply ear plugs too - just in case. Uber from the airport was €28. Because of the marathon starting on our departure morning we got the hotel to book their taxi guy and it cost €40 but 100% reliable. They also started breakfast over an hour earlier to accommodate guests on marathon morning. Very impressive hotel. We'll definitely be back!

Nothing really... oh... maybe proper hair dryers in the rooms!
