The ladies @ front desk were great. Overall, very nice hotel. Close to train station. Walking distance to all sights.

When checked out about 6 am the gentleman on the desk was RUDE. I asked for a wake up call. Didn’t get wake up call. He told “not working.” There was two other male hotel employees. I aske gentleman on the desk “why didn’t you send someone to my room then?” He replied “don’t do that.” In a very rude way. Then he totally ignored me.

I didn't have the buffet breakfast but I had their equivalent of a full breakfast from the adjoining cafe. It suited my requirements. The Hotel location was superb. It was within walking distance of all the amenities & places you would want to see as a tourist.

Just one thing: the air conditioning unit was above one the beds. I just think the position of this unit could be better situated above the door. We needed the air-con on as it was hot in Prague whilst we were there. As an asthmatic sufferer this affected my breathing, unfortunately. But at least we had air-con, as it was much needed.

Location: Short level walk to the train station, which was perfect for us, since we had a very early train departure for our onward journey. Also very close Metro options at the Station or Muzeum. Tram stops a bit further away. Hotel building: Loved the 1930s art deco style. Looks very posh. Room: We were absolutely delighted with our family room. 2 large spaces, separated by double internal doors with lovely elegant furniture. Brilliant for 2 adults & 2 children. Staff: Everybody we spoke with were friendly & polite. We would stay here again!

Beautiful old style hotel in a very quiet street, overlooking the park, short distance from the station. Rooms are very big and my bathroom was nice- be aware that you need to step into the bath to use the shower which might not suit everyone. The public areas are beautiful to look at as is the facade of the building. Bed was comfortable, good mattress. Air con in the room very efficient. Two chairs to sit on and a desk space to use too.

A lack of a kettle in the room. Essential for a British traveller! On the same day I arrived I also noticed a price reduction on booking.com!!!!

I chose this hotel in large part due to its proximity to Prague main train station. It is also easy walking distance from the Old Town. While the hotel is visible from the station, you do have to find the correct underpass from the station to walk there safely. The Airport Express bus also was a convenience, as it leaves from the front of the train station. Breakfast was good, and the staff was exceptional. I loved being able to open windows in my room. The bathroom was excellent, with walk-in shower, and an outlet conveniently located near the mirror.

Like most hotels, the bedding includes a duvet cover over a comforter, which is entirely too hot for sleeping in spring weather. As always, I found myself peeling the cover off and using it as my sheet and blanket.

Breakfast staff is very friendly and I liked all the food choices offered in a lovely room. The desk staff is also very friendly and helpful.

An earlier breakfast start (7:30 is a bit late) would help those needing to leave early. The coffee tastes like it was made in old aluminum coffee makers from the 1960’s. You need to upgrade your coffee tech. It had the worst taste from my four hotels so far this trip. The doorman is a nice touch but he’s not very friendly and neither greets nor welcomes.

The moment you enter the staff are so lovely and our room was great super comfy beds and a window you could open to get some fresh air when needed. Breakfast there was a great selection that caters for everyone. Esplanade Hotel is a very short walk from the train station, making the location perfect for not only trains but it is perfectly located for sightseeing along with cafes and shopping. We would definitely recommend staying at Esplanade Hotel if you are visiting Prague We

There were no extra plugs for use of electrical apparels. The air conditioner was turned only on very hot: I had to leave the windows open in order to cool down the temperature. Now the worst part. We were traveling to Germany for 9 days and returning to the Esplanade. I left 1 luggage and I was charged EUR 2 per day. I never had this situation before. We were SUPPOSED to return to the same hotel, BUT…!!!

If you are looking for clean room with a comfy bed, helpful staff, just walking distance to the main train station and tourist attractions this is the place for you. Buffet breakfast was pretty good with a nice variety of food.

If your body frame is on the larger size, you might find the shower cubicle too small. Didn’t bother us but it’s worth mentioning no tea/coffee facility in this particular room. Room service needs improvement re: how to reset bed linen & how to replenish toilet amenities.

Very nice hotel close to Vaclav square and just short walk to the old town. Easy to get there by car and there are plenty of parking lots nearby (though booking in advance highly recommended). Friendly staff.

Actually stay was seamless so nothing material to complain. What I can say is that the rooms are not perfectly soundproof so you can hear noices from the corridors, pigeons on window-sills and even some from other rooms. But it wasn't very annoying overall.
