This is an excellent hotel and is situated in a nice residential location, which is just minutes from the Charles Bridge. It was so easy to get to and from the airport by using public transport as the tram stops just outside, the directions are also given on their website. We stayed in a room on the 4th floor, which was accessed by a lift. The room was very comfortable and spacious, it had a couple of windows facing a rear courtyard view and was quiet at night. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice to choose from, ie cooked, continental and a nice selection of pastries and great coffee. The staff were so friendly and very helpful especially the Pavel (Paul) on the reception desk who was very professional and knowledgeable, but also had a great sense of humour in dealing with a (Toilet Roll Query?). We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend to family and friend and I can’t wait to come back to Prague again.

Literally can’t think of anything

Hotel William is in a great location—just a minute’s walk from the tram stop, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The building itself has charming aesthetics; while it’s a bit old, it’s well maintained and adds to the character of the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. One of the standout features is their luggage storage service, which was really helpful both before check-in and after check-out while touring the city. Reception is available only until 10 PM, but they communicated this clearly and provided my room code via email in advance. Even with a late arrival, the check-in process was smooth and well organized.

They don't have elevator :(

Great location, room was great. A good selection of milk alternatives are provided and breakfast had a mix of hot and cold food. The staff on reception were always helpful. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel but if you want to walk to Charles bridge and other attractions, it is just a pleasant 20 minute walk.

Lighting in the room was difficult - just 3 lamps to light the whole room. Plug sockets/electrics could do with a little upgrade. There is just 1 spare plug socket that is situated near the door, one with a floor lamp that can be used but it meant there was even less light in the room and the socket was loose off the wall.

The hotel was very near the church we wanted to visit and it was value for money . The staff at reception were extremely helpful . Breakfast was fabulous with a jan excellent choice of food .The added bonus was that there were hot and cold drinks available throughout the day and on coming back to the hotel at various times we were abbe to enjoy a hot drink as it was very cold outside. The only negative point was the fact that the floor boards were creaking and each time someone came to the adjoining room we felt as if someone was entering our room . But all in all it’s a great hotel and we have been there before and would visit it again

Lovely spacious room just five minutes walk from Charles Bridge. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Shower was powerful and hot. Breakfast was a real treat with lots of different choices. I ate so much I didn't eat again until the early evening. Check in and out was easy and straight forward. Hotel has a lift to most floors which was a bonus after a long day of exploring the city. Within walking distance to all the major attractions and public transport.

If you're a light sleeper noise from the traffic might be an issue if you like to keep windows open - you will hear cars, the tram etc. Didn't bother us.

The front desk staff was wonderful, they were a real pleasure to interact with and very helpful in assisting me in navigating around Prague. Their cheery disposition was always helped me to have a great start to each new day. The breakfast buffet was delicious and diverse, I enjoyed everything about as well as the coffee.

The room fixtures. In my room the lamps should be updated to have USB connections.There are very few outlets to charge a smart phone. you literally had to unplug one of the two lights to have an open outlet which made the room dark. The fan and coffee maker did not have an outlet to plug into so again without unplugging a light you were out of luck. since I was the solo occupant of the room this was a small nuisance hower if multiple people were in the room this would have been a major aggravation. The room also got rather warm without air conditioning, given this was October things called off at night but if this were a summer month I would conside staying somewhere. Aside from this the room was comfortable and the bathroom tiling was nice an elegent.

We loved the location. It's perfect and a beautiful neighborhood. Transportation was easy and in front of the hotel. Prague you can do a lot of things walking, or connect the transportations, and Hotel William is very well located. Everything was so clean, and I liked the coffee/tea machine inside the room. Besides this, at the front desk (breakfast room), we have water, juice, coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate machine available all day, which is great! Bed is very comfy, bathroom great. Breakfast was great and with many options. Staff was cleaning and refilling all the time. We really loved the location, Malá is perfect, and the staff is very polite and helpful. Pavel, at the front desk, was wonderful and so friendly. He helped us with everything we needed, very polite and a great worker. Thank you, and definitely, we will stay here again! Prague is a charming and adorable city, we really loved!

We didn't like the pillows so much. The room was very small, but for the price and the location, we could stay there again.

Great location with friendly and helpful staff. It was very easy to get to the hotel from the airport take bus no 59 to Divork Sarka then Tram no 20 to Hellichova approx 45 minutes buses and trams are free for over 65s and cheap for everyone else, there is a 72 hour travel card approx 10 Euros. Charles bridge is a short walk away but with transport on the doorstep we mostly travelled around Prague on the tram system which is very efficient. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, hot and cold, my favourite breakfast was scrambled egg, baked beans, peppers, onions and mushrooms, bread and apple cake but for carnivores there was also bacon, sausages, ham and other cold meats. Fruit, yogurts, good selection of breads and cakes, waffles, cheeses and olives and salad were also available. There were Tea/Coffee facilities in the room and the bed was large and very comfortable.

The shower worked fine but was a fixed overhead and I prefer showers where you have the option of switching to hand held but it wasn't a major thing - fine for a few days.

The hotel is quiet close to major attractions in Prague, you can reach most of attraction by foot or a short ride of public transport nearby.

The room given to me is at the building corner at 3/F, it is quite noisy when the trams pass-by until near mid-night the stop service, it is a bit annoying. You prepare to climb steps, the steps at the main entrance, the steps from hotel G/F to the lowest lift flloor, and the lift stop at half landing of each floor, you have the option to climb up or down to get to your room floor, be prepared for this.

Hotel William is a very good choice for lots of different reasons - I loved the location in the spot between the edge of the Lesser Town and on the way to Andel. The foyer has a really beautiful stained glass artwork and the building is in good condition with period features intact. I had a quiet room on the fifth floor that had a very comfortable bed and good amenities in the room. I was also very happy with the choice and quality at breakfast.

This wasn't a problem for me but the lift might be difficult for larger groups or people with ability issues.
