We liked the building and the decor, it was beautiful. We also loved the buffet breakfast, we had it every day. We enjoyed the air-conditioned room and the curtains were great at blocking the lights at night, and the bed was amazing, comfortable and clean with comfy pillows and duvets. I liked that we both had our own duvets as we do this at home too and it's a wonderful idea. The bathroom was nice and it had a bidet too, and had plenty of nice shower gel and soap. The location was great, close to all the important landmarks such as the river, the museums and the old city center. Overall it was a fantastic hotel, a home away from home and we'd definitely return here in the future.

There's nothing we didn't like, it was very good.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Good sized room with air con and a fridge. The bathroom was clean and well maintained and also a good size. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and freshly prepared. Location is in the Jewish Quarter and about a 10 minute walk to Old Town Square. We walked everywhere, Charles Bridge about 15 minutes and the castle about half an hour. We walked from the train station in 15 minutes, then a 10 minute walk to the underground for a short train to a trolley bus stop to the airport, that took about 45 minutes with good connections. Lots of good restaurants near the hotel and a supermarket about 5 minutes away. The hotel style is Edwardian, in a lovely old building that they keep beautifully. They have a bar, but for some reason it isn't open, but this seemed to be common in the other hotels we stayed in on our trip around central and eastern Europe.

A smart TV to enable connection to streaming sites would have been welcome.

Beautiful property, full of old world charm, meticulously clean, artistically and thoughtfully decorated with Bohemium crystal, Alfonse Mucha and other beautiful artwork. Fabulous location walking distance to everything and great to have the 24 hour reception. The staff were consistently kind, courteous and helpful. I was particularly grateful for their gracious responses to me as before arrival I had been a tad anxious as an older person travelling solo. They could not have been more helpful . Sumptuous generous breakfast with everything you could want (lots of options, suit all tastes). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to others.

Our stay at Hotel Caruso was an absolute pleasure. Adorned with the very many original paintings and art works, the hotel stands true to the definition of a "boutique" hotel. The location of the hotel is great with respect to proximity to tram/ bus stops and the Old Town Square is also at a walking distance. The hotel stands strong on DEI as well, with all important signs/ room numbers in Braille as well. The Reception Staff (Day (Bahruz)/ Evening (A Lady) /Night Managers (Umang)) were all very courteous and helpful. When the kitchen was closed, the Evening Manager even prepared a cup of coffee and brought it upstairs to our room. We particularly liked the Gentleman and the Lady managing the guests for the Breakfast Buffets, hosting with much warmth and serving with a smile. Would recommend a stay here!

After a long search, we finally decided on this hotel — and we’re so glad we did. The location is excellent. We arrived at the hotel using public transportation from the airport, and from there, everything was within walking distance. We only took the tram once. Despite being very central, the area is also peaceful. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was lovely. There’s a small market a block away on the same street as the hotel, which was handy for any urgent needs. Occasionally, we heard noisy people coming from the nearby club, but thanks to the double-glazed windows, it didn’t really bother us. We booked with breakfast included — and we’re really glad we did. Each morning we had a small bite before heading out to explore. Some people wrote negative comments about the breakfast, but we totally disagree. There was a wide selection, even desserts. No need to exaggerate the criticism. The staff were friendly and fulfilled our requests quickly. The cleanliness of the rooms was 10/10. We were welcomed by a fresh, pleasant scent as soon as we walked into our room. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip.

The only thing we didn’t like: Since the weather was bad for a few days, we had to spend more time in the room. Unfortunately, there weren’t any TV channels we could watch, which made it a bit boring. Most of the channels were local and didn’t have subtitles. A Smart TV could have made a big difference.

-The staff is absolutely great, the reception is welcoming and helpful, the staff at the breakfast always nice, elegant and courteous. Very professional and efficient staff! -The location is amazing, in the middle of the Jewish neighborhood, 10 minutes from the old town, from the Charles bridge... -The hotel is spacious and carefully decorated, always perfectly clean -The breakfast is excellent. Finally a hotel that also proposes local dishes in it's buffet (czech cakes). For the rest, everything was there, viennoiseries, good coffee, multiple types of juices, cereals, fruit, scrambled eggs/bacon, even smoked salmon. Great job

-The rooms are not sound proof. It is quite difficult sometimes to sleep because one can hear the elevator, the noises in other rooms etc during the night

The location, right in the heart of the old town and close to the river, was very convenient. The facilities were nicely laid out and included everything I required for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was well prepared with a good variety of choices.

I don't truly have anything negative to say about Hotel Caruso. Being on the corner of a side street, if you're looking for a room with a view, perhaps it's not for you, although the church on the opposite corner has a number of roof mounted statues.

Hotel is in an excellent location for seeing the main attractions Prague has to offer. Really friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast in a gorgeous setting. The room was clean and comfortable.

The bar never seemed to be open. Got a drink one night but that was only because we asked if the bar was open so he said he could get us a beer but when someone else walked in & asked the answer was no. Also, although there was tea & coffe in the room there was no milk.

The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk to the old town square and 3 blocks away from a main street full of designer shops The staff was friendly and helpful, especially a receptionist named Dijac, who solved, right away, a minor inconvenience I had The buffet breakfast was fabulous and the attendants were taking care of us, asking if we needed more of anything, a special mention to the floor manager, very attentive and always smiling

They were minor issues like the fridge in the room not working, not enough blankets but those were solved Besides that, everything else was fine
