It was my second visit to jaz makadi, first time at jaz makadi star and spa, it is great for family and couples, we enjoyed out stay with my wife and son - check in was quick and easy -rooms are very clean all the time and well designed space for every detail -the best was food taste and a-lot of options was available -wheelchair / electric scooter ramps -signs / side walks materials /landscaping -highly safety measures hand sanitizers ...etc - animation team differ each day interesting and enjoyable for all ages specially Mado and Lil At the end the most seen was how much the staff are friendly starting with mr tamer the room service and his morning smile mr ibrahim at the reception with no problem for any thing I asked, and the amazing talking every day with mr ashraf restaurant and beverage manager and his team.

-Beach space is limited despite the beauty of the sea and large space of coral reef area its little hard to get a place -although the sea is not far from the hotel but way to the sea is not safe for kids to be alone they pass next to a parking lot and street i hope next visit will be through the hotel itself

The reort was very well planned and had all the facilities you could thik of, with no need to step outside. They even had small kiosks and shops to buy clothes and souvenirs. We've stayed at lots of resorts and lots of all-inclusive ones, and by far, this was the best of them all. The staff were exceptional! Each and every one of them went out of their way to make us feel completely pampered. The food quality and variety was excellent. We had the option of going to the a la carte restaurants for dinner, but the food at the buffet restaurant was so good, we never ventured out. My husband and kids also visited the waterpark and came back very impressed. There were lots of slides and rides, but they were most impreseed by how clean everything was and how well maintained. Have recommended the resort to all our friends and will definitely go back. This time for longer!

The wifi connection was quite spotty around the resort and we were told tgey were undergoing a massive upgrade which would be completed in the next few months as things were slower when we visited, due to Ramadan. This was the only complaint, if any, that we had.

We had a pleasant stay thanks to the staff, especially Mr. Mina who was extremely friendly and helped us change our room after we complained about the first room’s view. He stayed with us until we were fully satisfied. Mr. Ali was also very kind, and overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet was excellent.

However, the hotel itself has several downsides. It's very small, with a tiny pool and very limited activities. Many of the photos shown on Booking.com don't actually belong to this hotel but to other hotels in the Makadi group, which was disappointing. The value for money is quite low - the price suggests a much higher standard than what is actually offered. You can get the same services for a much lower price in other hotels. There was nothing particularly special or memorable about the experience. Additionally, I had several questions before my arrival and contacted the hotel, but unfortunately, I only received a response after I had already r ed in.

The staff was very nice, The hotel staff did their best to ensure your satisfaction.The hotel beach was very nice, there was a reef right in front of it, snorkeling was very nice. The fact that the hotel has snorkeling equipment is an added bonus.

When we made the hotel reservation, we made the reservation because it was a spa hotel, we learned that we were only allowed to use it once during our stay, no such information was given anywhere when making the reservation, and its name is a spa hotel, we were disappointed about this, it is a ridiculous practice. The aquapark is very nice but the aquapark restaurants you can use in the aquapark are bad, the food is very bad, hygiene is bad, it does not suit the Jazz group at all, they can improve it more. Not everything is included in the hotel's minibar, this is also a deficiency. The main restaurant had a variety of food but lacked flavor. Still, you can find something to satisfy your hunger.

We had an amazing family holiday at Jaz Makadi Star, and everything about our stay was exceptional. The food was delicious with a wide variety to suit all tastes, the cleanliness of the entire hotel was outstanding, and the facilities were top-notch. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make our stay enjoyable. A special mention goes to Mina from management, Ahmed and Mahmoud in the restaurant, and Ramadan at the terrace, all of whom went above and beyond every day. The animation team was also fantastic, so friendly, creative, and full of energy, keeping both kids and adults entertained. They always have activities going on during the day and in the evening, which are very engaging. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is a five minute walk to the beach and a seven minute bus ride to the water park. Makadi bay generally is very quiet and relaxing despite there being multiple hotels in the area. We had a truly wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. The biggest asset of this hotel is its team. Their friendliness, warmth, and loyalty are what made this holiday truly memorable

The air condition in the reception and restaurant could have been better.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jaz Star Hotel in Makadi Bay, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Special thanks to Mr. Mina and Mr. Aly, who made extraordinary efforts to make my stay truly memorable. The birthday surprise they organized was a wonderful touch and left me feeling truly special. The hotel's facilities, services, and location all exceeded my expectations. We stayed at Jaz Makadi Star & Spa in July 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—staff were always available and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Special thanks to the manager, Mani, who made booking an extra night easy and stress-free by handling it directly for us. The food was decent, and we especially enjoyed the cocktail dinner on Monday. Both the pool and rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The animation team—Jade, Ahmed, Bebo, and Big Mido—were super friendly and engaging without being pushy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

The staff really go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with every luxury including fresh beach towels daily, a mini bar and laundry service. Between the buffets 3x times a day, the pool-side bar and the beach bar there was an incredible variety of foods, snacks, and drinks avaliable at all hours of the day. We also loved the entertainment, the spa and the 1 day free entry to the water park with the best water slides we have ever experienced. The resort grounds are beautifully decorated and well kept and add to the experience.
