Beach Food variety Staff at restaurants & beach

- Poor animation team - Pool not heated while should be adapted with Nov weather as it winter time and kids could'nt swim at the pool during the whole trip. - Staff at the reception were not friendly and didn't like their attitude specially with the Egyptian guests as when asking to check it early as soon as possible as I have kids ( I had waited for 1:30 to get a room ) and when asked for late check out for two hours extra to cope with bus time they refused and gave us only 1 hour while there was foreign family with us asked to late check out by 6 PM and they accepted!

Seif at the reception went out of his way to help correct the technical problem in our reservation through booking. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are nice and clean. I thought the family room would be bigger, but it was ok with the extra bed. It is spacious (but for some reason I thought it would be two connected rooms or something like that where we could have the kids in one room separately). The pools are nice. The staff at the buffet are very nice and generous. The guy at the coffee place at the pool (shame it opens only in the morning till noon) is a superman. He does great coffee. Cleaning staff at the restaurant are super helpful and courteous. The food festival was epic and had so much fun! i also like that the hotel tries to provide of things for its staff, they are very generous for their food and wellbeing. And there is continuous learning, though managers can be a bit too tough and unconstructive at times.

not all reception staff are helpful. They should learn from Seif. A "guest" should be treated as a "guest" and should find solutions rather than just stating the obvious. The food could be much better. Labranda is very generous, and the Chefs are trying there best, but it needs a touch and gourmet taste which is missing. You guys have the elements, just needs a notch. But for a beach hotel, the food is good and plenty. Same goes for the nonalcoholic drinks, which could be better. Consider adding slush!

The resort itself is very well kept. Plenty of green spaces, well manicured lawns and topiary. The pools are all in excellent condition - all 3 of them, one of which is a quiet, adults only pool. The food was excellent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - buffet with something for everyone (salads, international food choices etc) plus weekly food events such as Arabian specialities. The staff were friendly and were excellent with our 4 year old. Evenings there was mini-disco for the kids and then evening entertainment for the adults. The resort is about 40 mins from Hurghada town - we got an Uber twice which is cheaper than using the hotels taxi service (appox £8 each way, compared to their €30!) The rooms were clean and comfortable and the room attendees made us little figures out of the towels - which was a nice touch. There are shops and a Pharmacy on site. The beach is nice and also has a Beach bar. One of the main restaurants is located at the beach and Breakfast is always here too.

By the main pool, it was a bit noisy, especially around mid day when the animation team were doing 'aqua-aerobics' every day. The music volume was cranked up and after the activities it would have been nice for the music to be either turned off/down. I had to request that the music selection was a bit more inclusive towards the guests, not just German pop/folk as most of the guests were from Germany. The a-la-carte restaurants are not amazing - they are 'OK'. We preferred to eat in the main restaurant, but did visit 3 of the a-la-carte ones.

Staff friendly and lots to do

Rooms a bit run down for a 5 star hotel. Also, avoid the spa and massage. Very expensive and terrible massage. They give you a menu but they are all the same. I booked a massage through booking.com for only $20USD and it was amazing. Also, booking.com doesnt explain that you can only go to the a la carte restaurant twice in one week.

I liked everything. Thanks to all Labranda team but special thanks must go to the animation team guys who were great, Mohamed in Cairo Cafe, Osama and his colleagues in the lobby All Beverages Lounge, Mahmoud in lunch and dinner open buffets. I really admire Labranda Hotels manager (Mr Hedi) style where he leads by example. I did not have a chance to talk to him during this stay but saw him on the stage on Thursday thanking everyone for participating in Thursday's night event and encouraging all guest to come back to Labranda. Well done guys and see you in the winter.

One of the best beach resort we have ever staid. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. The common areas like gardens, pool, beach front and restaurants were organized and clean all the time. the promenade zone were the à la carte restaurants are was the most beautiful thing at night! And the most amazing thing was the staff that was so nice and helpful always wanting to help! We will be back!

Guest relationship team was outsourcing, from east Europe and you could definitely see a difference between them and the rest of the nice staff!

Good location beachfront also with three pools. Restaurant promenade a great addition with fab choice of food. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Poor wifi. Cleanliness could be better in bathroom in room. Food choice for dinner not great in main restaurant.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, it’s well laid out with beautiful views of the sea and pool, with beautiful gardens all around. It has its own private beach with the most helpful & friendly staff ever.
