Breakfast gives an excellent and unlimited choice of food and drinks. Able to leave labeled luggage in a designated room until the evening on last day of stay. Friendly staff, especially the boss. Rooms clean and quiet with shower etc. Very convenient for Anhalter Bahnhof S-Bahn. A tip: a very quick route to Hauptbahnhof (Main railway station) is take S-Bahn to BrandenburgerTor (two stops) and then the U5 to the Main station. It seems that not many people are aware of this route. Obviously the route can be reversed to travel back to hotel, if you can find that is U5, The hotel is within handy walking distance of a proper Post Office and various important Berlin locations.

Breakfast a bit on the expensive side, but seems to be the norm for Berlin. I wouldn't class this as a dislike, but what is quite confusing when booking is that there are two IBIS hotels on Anhalter Strasse within about 20 metres of each other: the IBIS Budget at no 6 and the IBIS City at No 4, both on Anhalter strasse.

Amazing location (everything is near) and it has option to park car in the secured underground garage (it costs 14 euros per 24h). Friendly staff which helped to solve any issues and what I value much open to solve own mistakes (which are happening because we are all people). I recommend it if you come for a few days to explore Berlin. I believe that the price-quality link is quite decent and it worth the price.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all super friendly and rooms were basic but comfortable! Location is brilliant! S line at the end of the street and checkpoint Charlie around the corner. We also used the Lidl for bits and pieces as we stayed for 4 nights.

Only one pillow and it was warm during the night. However the mattresses had memory foam on top and it was winter so heating was prob high and whilst warm, the beds were really comfy

Great location, fast check-in (I arrived a bit early and my room was already ready, so they checked me in right away). Overall, the stay in berlin was class. The location of the hotel was great to access everywhere we wanted to go within Berlin. The hotel exceeded expectation as in England an Ibis is generally a budget hotel which it still was but didn't feel like it was. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on it. During 30 degrees temp, the room is still cold as the AC was amazing.

The lightening in the room was okay but the brightness of the spot lamps weren't bright enough to use say during the day if you wanted the curtains shut and lights on, if you were changing for example post shower. The bed format is strange meaning they have a 5inch foam topper with a firm mattress - which looks like a sofa bed (kinda hard to explain). But on the whole still comfy enough to sleep in.

The hotel is located in the central area of Berlin, very close to the Mall of Berlin and Potsdamer Platz. It is possible to reach the central Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate by walk in less than twenty minutes. However, just outside the hotel there is the Anhalter Bahnhof stop which is connected to the main metro lines and allows you to move quickly throughout the city. The hotel is in the classic style of the ibis chain, with comfortable and clean standard rooms. The furniture is not ultra modern but it has all the essentials, the room is sufficiently spacious, the bathroom is medium in size. The bed is comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and of excellent quality. Good quality/price ratio. Definitely worth returning.

The location is great, you have a subway station and a bus stop nearby, it's less than 5 minutes walking after you get off. Then it's only 10 minutes to the central train station by bus, so it was great. The hotel room was good, not really big but it wasn't an issue since it was just a short stay.

The pillows were very soft, I had to fold mine to sleep properly. The beds were separating in the middle during our night, so they should have something better holding them together for couples. The water pressure in the shower was okay, nothing special.

The location is great for the various places we needed to access in Berlin. Easy access to bus, tram and submay and witrhin walking distance of many places.

I stayed here about 3-4 years ago, before the pandemic. Although the breakfast seemed to have a reasonable selection, the spread was much better then. Additionally, one could eat an evening meal in the restaurant if needed and that option has since disappeared. That was a big minus for me as sometimes I just didn't want to go searching for a restaurant.

Breakfast was good, loved the variety of cheese. the eggs and bacon were good. I wish the glasses were bigger, I had to refill my lemon water 4 times to get satisfied as the cups were tiny.

I dealt with around 6 people, 4 of the were very kind and helpful, 2 of them were not, I checked out at 12 and they stored my bags mean while I waited to get my train, the girl who returned my bags wasn`t very kind she seemed to be upset. the first night I arrived late and didn`t have an electric adapter so I called the reception and the guy who answered wasn`t kind either.
