The hotel is not in Bonn but in another city called Bad Godesberg. In a beautiful building right in front of a train station. Good and clean room, decent bed, functional bathroom - we had a good stay. I particularly liked the breakfast that had all kinds of food you can eat. Now that's a sign of a good hotel in Germany!

Check-in wasn't very smooth. The evening shift receptionist seemed a foreign student who didn't speak German or English, and was probably new to this job.

The hotel is located in a nice quarter of Bonn, excellent connection to the downtown by train, metro or tram lasting few minutes. Staff was extremely helpful, particularly during the strike of local transport companies The room was clean and when arriving, heated for cold night, breakfast offered a good choice.

Surprisingly quiet, despite being directly opposite to the train station. The area is not as crowded as the city centre, but very lovely with a lot of nice restaurants. A good option for a weekend stay.

Breakfast options could be a bit more diverse, but for short stays it is fine.

Cubicle for taking bath too small. Aren't Germans big - how do they fit in. Provision for late check out by 5-6h to align with flight. Meridien in Frankfurt used to charge about 25% for late checkout by few hours.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, on the last day the cleaner even found my phone charger and came down to the breakfast hall to find me and return it! The reception desk staff also had taxis on call and helped us get one quickly when we needed it. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of meats, cheeses and fish for making sandwiches. The fruit salad was also a nice plus. Coffee and juices on tap, and cereal as well. The large double room we had was probably the best in the hotel! With plenty of windows and light, and great views of the area outside and plenty of room. The single room was a bit cramped, but had the same facilities as the larger one. All rooms had AC, though at the time of year we visited it wasn't needed. Location was very good, short walking distance of a pedestrianised town centre with various places to shop and eat in the evening, and the hotel was right across the street from the Bad Godesberg underground and overground train stations. Taxi journey from Cologne airport is about 30mins

Duvet cover was a little too warm during the night, would have been good if a thinner cover was available, with a blanket if needed. The larger room had blankets in the wardrobe, but my single room did not (though I didn't require it). An extra pillow might have been useful too. Doors were a little difficult to fully, properly close from the inside - twice I came back from the bathroom to find the room door was ajar and hadn't actually closed - give it a push until you hear the click. All doors also have chains on them you can use to give piece of mind. The lift is a bit cramped, 2 or 3 people max, fewer if you have suitcases - not a lot they can do about this however

The Location, very convenient to the Publuc Transport and the cafes/ Restaurants etc..,cleanliness, friendly staffs, Breakfast was wow, no pressure of checking out. Bed was comfortable. The Room was spacious

My Room didn't have a Window whereby I could open for fresh Air.

The rooms were quiet and very clean, the beds very comfortable, location was perfect (especially next to the tram station) and a few minutes walk to the Rhein and the breakfast was very good. We really as well want to call out the desk staff who were very good to us and the fact the we had a dog with us - they helped us to find a dog sitter etc. The staff was lovely.

The only small issue was a bit of smell from the drains in the bathroom.

The room was well appointed, with a kettle and great air-conditioning. Right across from the train station and only a couple of minutes walk into the town centre. The staff were really helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast too.

A little bit of noise could be heard from other rooms.

Room and shower were first class. Quiet and comfortable

The elevator door kept sticking open on upper floors and need some servicing since that stops the elevator from working. Also, front steps are not very handicap friendly and I.

Breakfast is excellent. Plentiful, choice of fruit juice, dairy or smoked fish, salad or eggs etc. We have stay here 4 times before and, hopefully, will again in the future. A warm, cost hotel, staff very friendly. Tea and coffee in your room which is heated well and the bathroom when it's cold out
