Great location

The surroundings are full with strange people and did not always felt safe (Frankfurt HbF, not the hotel's fault. It still worth it because of the location). They charged me extra for late check-out, even when I notified beforehand that I required it. No other hotel has ever charged me so. That is discouraging

Nice clean and comfortable modern single room . Nice bed and 2 mins walk from Frankfurt HBF

No plugs near the bed & area outside of hotel is sketchy. Lots of junkies , drug dealers etc. but that’s Frankfurt HBF. I would advise women especially to be aware at nighttime.

The proximity to the train station. Within walking distance... they also have a working elevator. A bonus... I found out about the hotel when using the app, Bounce in search of a 7-day storage facility. I was pleased they were able to store my luggage for 7 days, and so when I returned to Frankfurt, it was convenient to just book my accommodation there.

On my last night, the heater didn't kick in, so I had to layer up so as not to freeze to death.

Everything was clean, nice, and right for a 1 traveller like me. The reception (Sami) 👍 was professional and helpful with everything. And also the lady who responsible for the cleanliness 👍. In front of the builing you have shop and bakery. The lounge bar is nice and comfortable.

The position. Advantages: near by Central station Frankfurt. Disadvantages: the night becomes dangerous in the street. Missing things like: electric macchine weather heater in the room and disposable slippers. Things you can add to rooms.

it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and easiness for using ironing to keep my clothes sharp and fresh(separate room in floor 1). what truly set this stay apart was the exceptional hospitality provided by Kasmaz at the reception. from the moment i arrived, Kasmaz made me feel at home with her warm welcoming demeanor and her recommendations on local attractions. if you are looking for a hotel near the central station with easy access walk to city center, look no further. i will definitely be returning to this hotel in my next trip to Frankfurt.

Many bad reviews are about the area and not the Manhattan Hotel, but the truth is, if you want Frankfurt train station, trams, all the restaurants and supermarkets around, you will inevitably see weird people just like in any other big cities. They don't bother you by the way -- just mind your own business. I honestly love everything about this hotel -- central location, new, spacious, very clean and well maintained room with nice view of the train station building, great bedding, shower and hair dryer, and most importantly, very friendly staff (in particular, Sami who helped me check in one hour early after my long flight and who read my comments in the booking and assigned me a beautiful room). I like the hotel and its convenience so much that I came back for another 4-night stay in the following week. Thank you so much and I highly recommend this hotel!

Location cannot be better if you need to be really close to main train station. It is just crossing the street by walking 3 minutes. I had read that the neighborhood is not the best; however, it is not as is said. Indeed, I left the hotel around 4am and I found a lot of people and movement on the streets. I do not see why to pay more if you have to spend one night for taking a train or other very early in the morning.

Despite I undertsand why the ask for a guaranty (50EUR) and I did not have any issue taking back this guaranty; always it is a bit uncomfortable. Anyway, be acknowledge that you will be ask for it.

Comfortable rooms, working aircondition and good noise isolation to the busy area outside the hotel. Great value for money, especially when staying for a night to catch a train. Apart from that, I would not travel to Frankfurt for private reasons.

You know what to expect when staying close to the train station, a lot of junkies and homeless people around. I would not advise families to stay here or single female travellers, also due to the vicinity to the red light district.

The hotel exudes a nostalgic "classic old times" vibe, evident from the vintage key to the room's layout and decor. While it felt like a journey back in time, it was a delightful experience. Situated directly across from the Central Train Station and amidst a plethora of dining options, its location is unbeatable. With spotlessly clean rooms, I can envision myself returning for another stay.

While the hotel's location is convenient, the surrounding area takes on a more "underground" feel after dark, with individuals who seem to be involved in unsavoury activities. I never felt in direct danger, but I was more alert, gravitating towards well-lit areas that felt safer. It's worth noting for potential guests, although I want to stress that this is more about the neighbourhood and not a reflection of the hotel itself.

This hotel was the cheapest and best option around the central station, and we were pleasantly surprised how well it was maintained. The room was clean and comfortable and provided a nice view of the main street. Staff were nice as well.

The area is not great, and it's rather scary to go out of the hotel after sunset, as there are many junkies around, but that's Frankfurt. The lift in the hotel could be a bit bigger.
