Perfectly situated to explore Lyon. Only a short walk to the metro, 100s of restaurants, and shopping nearby. The staff were really the amazing thing about this hotel-- friendly, helpful and welcoming. The beds were comfy and our room was large. The shower was hot and of a good size. The room was immaculately clean, with daily room service. If not for the poor a/c unit in our room, I would stay here again. Our friends had a room and didn't have an issue. It was exceptionally warm in Lyon during our visit, so at a different time/season perhaps the unit would have cooled adequately.

We are grateful that the front desk staff brought one of the fans from their area to our room. It helped. But the air conditioning unit in our room was not powerful enough to cool the room on the hot summer days we visited. They offered to change room for our last day, but we were scheduled for a wine tasting event and could not make the switch within the hotel's time-frame, but we did appreciated the offer.

Perfect central location, just a few minutes to the medieval city, all the local “bouchons” (restaurants with excellent local food) and to the shopping streets. In between the two rivers, excellent location for exploring the city. Very friendly staff, all was clean and according to the expectations.

The only negative point about the property are the rather tiny rooms… Well, we didn’t really care as we spent the most of our time outside in the city. But all was clean and we had luck to stay on the 5th floor - there you have balconies in each room. Also small ones, but still nice and cosy to have a wonderful view over the city.

Excellent location right in the center of Lyon- close to shopping, museums, old town.

Definitely not a four star hotel, rather a decent three star. They screwed up our reservation previous night- we thought we had another day in Lyon - but around noon they apologizes and said we must leave at this time because they had other people coming.

The hotel location is great, just steps from everything you might think of: stores, restaurants, French passages (there is one next to it), Place des Jacobins is next to the hotel, and Place Bellecour is three blocks away. The property is in great shape and the rooms are well appointed and clean. A coffee machine is also among the amenities, the hotel also provides bottled water on a daily basis. The staff is great, from the moment we arrived from Strasbourg we felt very welcomed, I don't recall the name of the young lady who did the check in for us but she was great and helped us a lot with direction on the very first minutes of being there. We also have to thank Elise and Jules who on a daily basis helped us and were very nice to us. I might not go back to Lyon but if I did I would undoubtedly go to the same hotel.

Excellent location, warm atmosphere, lift and great breakfast. Very welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Room beautifully presented. Walking distance to river boat cruise - hop on hop off bus and walking tour starts. Musee des Beaux Arts and restaurant street Rue Merciere also nearby. Gorgeous buildings and shops in quiet relaxing 2ieme. Bridges nearby to cross Rhone ie to walk to Les Halles or crossing Saone to Vieux Lyon.

Everything was great including the staff, cleanliness, comfort of the bed and room. We had a room with the balcony and could see the fountain and square which was great! The location and area is amazingggg, so convenient to enjoy Lyon from here. Highly highly recommended!!!

The room was very compact, barely enough space to open the ironing board! Couldn't get a full view in the mirror because the chair was squashed in front of it

Excellent location in the 2nd arr, close to Rue Mercier where there are lots of restaurants, lovely shopping and an easy walk to the old town area. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful and our room was comfortable with 2 x waters provided daily. There is breakfast available if you wish. We appreciated that there was a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

We found the pillows to be very flat and uncomfortable. There is an overhead rain shower but the accompanying hand held shower was on a very low-set bracket which made it difficult to use if you don’t want to use the high overhead shower. This could be improved with an additional bracket.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building right in the heart of Lyon. We requested a room with a street view and were delighted to have one overlooking Place des Jacobins. The hotel’s amazing location made it easy to explore the city’s main sights, shops, and cafés on foot. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that.

The reception staff was lovely, providing local information and restaurant recommendations. The hotel is located in the central walking business district, we were able to walk most places or take a taxi. Our privilege room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with stocked refrigerator and complete breakfast. I would highly recommend.

Location is in the heart of the 1st and 2nd districts. Easy enough to get around from there. There was no transit running the day we arrived by train due to the holiday so had to take a taxi from the train station as it was a bit too far to walk with luggage. Good elevator. Clean room and property. Staff was friendly.

The room was VERY small. No room on one side of the bed and I banged into the open window trying to get off the bed to use the bathroom. Probably best to upgrade to a larger room if you can since I think ours was a "Classic" and it was just too small.
