We had an amazing time at Doubletree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station. We checked in fairly quickly, staff were very welcoming, I loved the warm complimentary cookie! We were very impressed with the free drink at the rooftop bar and the free room upgrade. The room was clean, comfortable and the balcony view of the river/city, was beyond superb. We walked everywhere from the hotel as the location was extremely convenient. Overall, an amazing weekend stay!

The toilet flush didn't work great, you had to firmly press the button a few times. We also didn't know this hotel is a "pet friendly" hotel, so we were really surprised when we heard barking from the room opposite us, when we were on the 9th floor! Luckily we didn't need to complain as the dog didn't bark after 10pm or before 9am so our sleep wasn't disturbed, but that could have been very annoying!

Trainee staff made a mistake by charging me the regular price instead of the one I booked. In addition, she charged me twice the amount of damage deposit which was 2x€200=€400 in total. When I asked about the error, another senior staff came to help and couldn't promise when the error would be reversed. Her attitude was not very present. She said it would show up at check out statement. If some more experienced staff was there to help, this mistake wouldn't happen. My advice is to put someone there to help the trainee until she's ready.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Everything was really good, and I had a pleasant experience. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, always ready to assist. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options. The location is very convenient, especially being so close to the train station. The room was very clean and fresh, making my stay even more comfortable. Thank you for the great service! I would definitely recommend your hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.

Great location and easy to commute to and from the main train station. The concierge was also really helpful in storing our luggage on the day of our check-out. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and fast. The room was clean and spacious, appreciate the amenities of free water, coffee/tea in the room. The toiletries (soap, shampoo) provided in the room were useful and of good quality. We also ate at the restaurant, We are Edn, which had great service and was good for group dining.

Our safe was not working so we were unable to utilise it. We could also hear the doors of the neighbouring rooms whenever they were closed.

-the staff is welcoming and they offer you a warm cookie upon arrival. I really appreciated it that kind gesture. -we went to Amsterdam to celebrate our anniversary and so they decorated the room with heart shaped balloon and offered us a drink voucher . The room was ready when we arrived -the room was big and the view over Amsterdam is great -very close to the train station so very convenient for travellers -they have a 24/7 little shop downstairs to provide everything you might need (socks, food, paracetamol etc) -room was spotless and big. The bedding is very comfortable as well. Overall we left with a lovely feeling and will definitely come back again !

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful Check in was smooth House keeping came daily but never refilled body wash or conditioner so clearly they don’t check Also one day left a tea cup that had stains on it Could not sleep the last night as there was loud music from above that I could hear until 1 am There was a private party on the rooftop

The Location was really a major factor in this trip,The Staff at Check In(Cintia)and Check Out were quite friendly and very helpful with all information necessary.I got a room upgrade to one facing the city/river which was really nice to wake up to.They have a good bar/lounge on the 11th floor with amazing views of the city a must visit.

A great stay at such a lovely place! Would recommend this hotel, we travelled from London on the Eurostar and the hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station and super close to everything else we needed, we could walk everywhere! They also went above and beyond for my boyfriend’s birthday and made it extra special. Thanks for such an incredible stay! Would definitely be back :)

The location is perfect. The service desk agents are awesome and helped me find the postoffice.

I booked a room on high floor asking for city view. Sadly on arrival I was told I can only get a city view if I paid 25E more. I was a bit disappointed.

Great central location, fantastic breakfast

The view from our room looked out over train tracks and it was quite noisy in the early mornings. There is double glazing but you can still hear the trains, I recommend taking ear plugs. Our son's room had no view, it looked out into a small central space with hardly any light. If you would like the nice view from the front of the hotel you will need to pay for it or be very lucky. I asked if we could have a room with a nice view as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary while we were there but weren't given one. It was busy so I understand but it was a shame.
