The Hotel was Excellent. It is located right near the city center. Rooms was large and neat. The breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and where ready to answer our queries anytime. Would definitely recommend.

The parking can be frustrating. We need to park the car outside and visit the reception to open the barrier. If you plan to use the car regularly it can be frustrating at times. There was road works while I visited and getting the parking in front of the hotel was not easy. Maybe create a parking card like the room card for people who use the parking.

Location for us was great. It was just a 5 to 10 minute walk and you were in the centre of the old city where there are things to see and do as well as lots of bars and restuarants. The rooms were a reasonable size, clean and up to date and have air conditioning which was most welcome. Breakfast is great, there is a wide selection available of hot and cold food. We found the staff to be very friendly and open for a chat. The hotel has parking which I was told you can not book, but there is a parking station that has the entrance next to the hotel and it is about 25 euros a day

There was nothing that bothered me

#1, The staff was the best ever. Because of the staff, I felt like I was in a much more expensive hotel. #2, The location is ideal, because it's through a short tunnel in the hill from the old town. So it's very close to most everything. We walked through the walking tunnel or we took a quick bus ride (the staff told us how) to the old town. (There is a tunnel for walkers and a tunnel for cars/buses.) Out back, from our window of the hotel, we could see that we were in a cove of the hill with expensive big houses with lots of trees, plus the cliff of the hill: beautiful! Especially compared with the hotels that are cramped into the tiny streets of the old town. #3, Extremely clean room and bathroom. #4, Go to the roof top in the evening to relax on lounge chairs! It's nothing fancy up there, but it's a perk for weary vacationers. #5 Nice Area: We felt very safe walking through the tunnel late at night, and walking in the neighborhood of the hotel.

The hallway carpets had stains. The breakfast was not vegan friendly.

The rooms are a nice size by European standards. The hotel was clean. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent. Literally a 5 minute walk to the city center.

This is a matter of preference, but I like my room to be exceptionally cold when I sleep and unfortunately the AC wasn't what I would have liked. I had trouble staying asleep as I found the room to be too warm. Again, that's a matter of preference, so that wouldn't make it or break it for me in terms of the hotel. I eat eggs for breakfast every morning and while they had scrambled and boiled egg options, I do wish the boiled eggs were a little more boiled. It was too raw for my liking. Again, another matter of preference. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

We stayed in the annex building 10 meters from the main hotel this time. That was fine. No air con makes the rooms very warm during hot weather, but they ventilate well at night. Very clean, ok breakfast at the main building. Excellent location at only a couple of hundred meters from the old town accessible via two tunnels. Fridge!

Things to note about the annex: - Two sets of stairs and no lift. - No door to lock out people from the street. Ie. anyone could come to your room's door. This seemed weird even if Salzburg is a very safe city. Would be easy and nice to add another locked door to only allow access for guests to the hallway of both floors. Not possible to book a parking place for the car. Public parking is available very close though at around 24€/24h.

We spent one night at the Leonardo Hotel in Salzburg City Centre and were truly impressed. Our room exceeded expectations—it featured a spacious balcony, a walk-in closet, a convenient kitchenette, one and a half bathrooms, and a large, comfortable bed. It felt more like a suite than a standard hotel room. Breakfast was another highlight, with an incredibly varied and delicious selection. The hotel’s location was also a big plus—within easy walking distance to the Old Town, making sightseeing very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that combined comfort, quality, and location. We would gladly return.

The location is excellent, 5 min walk from the old town. The underground parking is convenient and the price is better than in the parking lot next door. The breakfast is fantastic! The room was big enough to sleep for 4 of us.

During our stay there were some roadworks front of the hotel, it made a bit difficult and muddy to navigate front of the hotel. On the corrdor there was a troly to collect used bed clothes and a mopping bowl. It should have been hidden for the night. In the bathroom some bits and peaces would need some retouch, for example one of the lid that covers the water tube coming out from the wall was missing. The shower cabins door had also a missing peace.

So comfortable, spacious, and clean. We could cast a movie from our phones to the TV which was nice to watch Sound of Music at night and unwind. WiFi is great. AMAZING location within walking distance of Cathedral/main old town attraction. If you want to go somewhere further/bus to airport you are given a free transport card to use all around the city! They were nice enough to upgrade the room for me and my mom for free too. Wish we stayed here more than one night this place was our favorite! Well designed spacious little bathroom. Elevator was new and functional. Key cards for room.

Wish we stayed longer!

Location is pretty good just a couple of bus stops away from the city center as well as a direct bus line to the train station. Bus service is amazing in this city and we never has to wait more than 5 minutes at any time. The hotel staff was great and even extended our check out time for free. The room was nice and spacious, nice style decor and super comfy bed. Loved the complimentary water and coffee capsules. The bathroom was a bit dated but OK in general. Breakfast was really good, everything was tasty.

Some more breakfast options would be appreciated. The bathroom could use a bit of an update.
