The location of the hotel is great. It's on top of Luz with a nice view of the ocean. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We had a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There is also a fridge and enough drawers to store your clothes. Right in front of the hotel you have a spacious parking area. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. They helped us book a boat tour as the website required us to call for reservation. The breakfast is very varied with many options also for vegetarians and vegans.

The fridge in the room was quite noisy at times. We also had a room right above the kitchen or the restaurant area so we could hear the preparations for the evening and the next morning. The bed was a bit dated and would need some new mattresses.

Such a lovely setting in beautiful gardens with a huge, immaculate pool. The staff were exceptional and even allowed us to use all the facilities once we had checked out of our room. Maybe a little updating all round is required but we had a very comfortable room with a new bathroom overlooking the pool.

The most relaxed and friendly hotel within a 20 minute walk from Luz beach. We have stayed here before and went back for a second time as its very quiet, the pool is always immaculate, breakfast has a vast array of selection and the staff very friendly. Reasonably priced but need to have transport as a little out of the way.

The only criticism I have is that the beds are very hard and I didn't sleep well. There needs to be tea and coffee facilities in the room (we had to ask for a kettle) and the emergency exit lights are so bright the room is not dark enough to have a decent night sleep. This wouldn't put me off staying again but I do think it needed addressing.

Breakfast was good with a nice variety of food available. We were unable to use the pool due to poor weather. It looked very nice from our room. GPS directions were not clear once we were in the area.

Coffee was terrible. They gave us a card to use for purchases while on the property which we felt was not necessary and just something else we needed to keep track of. There was a charge to use the inroom safe, which we felt should have been part of the rate.

What a beautiful complex tucked away from the hustle of the beachfront area! We had a large room w/ balcony overlooking the gardens and pool area. On-site restaurant was convenient-didn't need to go anywhere and could just enjoy the sunny afternoon in a chaise by the pool. Meals were buffet with a generous assortment to choose from, bar available. Room, building, and grounds all very quiet.

We traveled on foot so it was a bit of a walk from the coastal trail we were hiking - but well worth the effort!

Very helpful receptionist, she accommodated us 2 hours earlier in the rain. We got a better room for free. We paid extra for the dinner (buffet) and it was excellent, as was the breakfast. The place is nice and quiet, but further from the center of the town and from the beach. Spacious parking lot. Green garden with a large swimming pool.

The air conditioning did not want to heat. She kept shutting down. Maybe it needs maintenance?

What a lovely place to stay! Our room was huge and had a sea view, it was cleaned every day and had everything we needed for our 8 month old baby. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The pool area was lovely and had a kids pool for our baby. Lovely walk into Luz every night for dinner.

My only slight complaint would be the canned fruit, I would rather have had fresh fruit which wasn't always an option.

Clean, spacious accommodation, with pleasing views and tranquil setting. Friendly, helpful staff and nice atmosphere. The room cleaning staff did an excellent job.

Just a few minor constructive niggles (room 303). The shower was only warm at best. The washbasin plug did not work properly and the water kept running away. Creaky bathroom door and bedroom cabinet door. It would have been nice to have some tables for two people in the restaurant.

Very nice grounds and swimming pool. Roomy newly renovated bathroom in our room. Large room with nice balcony. Super excellent buffet breakfast was included with our room. Nice bar and lounge area on lower level of hotel.

Decor in room is a bit dated, but okay nonetheless. Location not convenient without a car.

The room was spacious, clean and had air conditioning which was really welcomed during the high heat. The pool size was just fabulous and I was even able to do my 600m sessions easily. the buffet for breakfast and dinner was amazing. I cannot rate this accommodation highly enough, what a gem of a place. Thank you to the entire staff who were so friendly.
