I stayed here recently and absolutely loved the location. The room had a big balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean — perfect for relaxing any time of day. The beach was just steps away, making it super easy to spend the whole day by the water. It was a peaceful and convenient spot, ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the coast. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Breakfast was good, but we didn’t enjoy the lunch as much. The food could definitely be improved. We also requested a late checkout by an hour, which was approved, but unfortunately our room access was automatically locked at the regular checkout time. It was resolved quickly after we contacted the staff, but it was a bit inconvenient.

Amazing staff and location. Special thanks to Elisabeta from the reception who helped us with many suggestions for our trips. Very comfortable rooms, with a fantastic view. Sandy beach just as you exit the pool. If we will return to Madeira, we will for sure come back here!

I loved everything! A suggestion for improvement I would give is to add a bit more local fruits to the breakfast: there are so many amazing fruits in Madeira and it wouod be great to start the morning with them.

The location is just beautiful and everything is clean. The staff is the asset of this hotel, every single one of them is kind, attentive and welcoming. The evening à la carte is tasty and the portions are very big. The free shuttle to town and back is great.

The property is dated and looks worn. I would say it is a 3 star rather than a 4 star hotel in that respect. Breakfast is nothing special although all the necessities are catered for. The pool area also looks worn. You need to pay 10euro deposit for towels which you need to take from reception, way up from the pool area.

I want to come back soon!! This was a beautiful location and we had a room overlooking the water. Just hearing waves and watching the boats was relaxing. Excellent breakfast. Hardworking and friendly staff throughout the resort. Easy to get the bus or taxi into old Funchal (lots of hills in Madeira). Promenade along the hotel made for easy walks and access to the black sand beaches.

The staff was amazing, they made my birthday super special and went above and beyond and were super accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we had to stay another night. Great location, you can really relax and disconnect as well as enjoy and explore the island.

Great location, wonderful black sand beach, nice piscine, gorgeous view to the Ocean.

The breakfast was to minimalistic. There can be more diversity. There are no shops around, so you have to buy your water from the hotel every day.

The hotel stands on the cliff on it's own beach, isn't it already something!! Sweeping views of the ocean, sound of crushing waves, delightful room and common areas. There is also a parking, so with a car it's so easy to access.. Just enjoyed all of it!!

The hotel has very few parking spots that are all reserved (I don't know how you get one, so they might better say there is no parking available).

The breakfast was really amazing. The view from the balcony as well! The access to the pool and beach were super nice and easy accessible. Very nice promenade at the coast.
