We have travelled in many hotels arround Europe, but this one was the best so far!! First let me begin with the staff: they were awesome, helped us with indications, recomandations and so on. Every member of the hotel was very polite and kind to us. I want to include here the cleaning lady, she was so kind and hard working. The room: was spacious enough for 2 people and very very very clean! I felt like home or even better! Every day we had fresh bottle of water, shower gel, shampoo and so on. Location: was near Galata bridge, in the heart of the city! Thumbs up for this place, it was 10/10!!

We stayed four nights on the last week of May 2025, Shenar at the reception was very professional and friendly, everyone at the hotel was very nice, on the first night right after arriving we took a shower and noticed the shower was draining too slowly, we called the reception and they switched us to another room right away. There was always a bottle of water, tea and instant coffee in the room. The location is very convenient, on a quiet block, close to the Galata Bridge, the Galataport complex with modern shops and restaurants is 10 minutes away, tram stations is a few minutes walk away. Room was quiet with A/C and comfortable bed.

I really love the location as it was close to amenities and moving around was convenient. Getting food was super easy. Also the staff were very friendly and always accomodating. The hotel was clean and the bed and pillows were really comfortable.

We got a room on the lowest floor facing the street with a doner and tea shop in front so it can be a little noisy with people chatting and delivery trucks making their rounds in the early morning. Also we often get whiffs of cigarettes and grilling of kebabs , though I guess smokers wouldn’t mind. Unfortunately I am a non smoker. A small problem that needs mentioning, though it didn’t bother me much, was the shower floor doesn’t drain out the water well. Also the wooden stairs bannister was wobbly which could be dangerous for an elderly guest who needs to hang on to it when ascending the split level room.

The hotel was perfectly located, with both the Asian and Europan sides easily accessible by foot, tram or water taxi. Excellent restaurants with fantastic food options, great shopping, and major sights were all close by - literally within walking distance of the hotel. Despite its central location, the hotel was very quiet. We absolutely loved our stay.

The room was very clean and cozy, though it is not the most comfortable for two - felt like a shoe box. The bathroom and shower were also rather tight and it was impossible for two to be in it together.

Just in the center but still in silent location. Great tea outside. A lot of restaurants in short walking distance. Highly recommended.

Ada Karakoy is an incredible choice for accommodation in Istanbul. The hotel is very beautiful, as are the rooms. Everything was amazing, but without a doubt the best part was the people who work there and the location. You can walk everywhere; the port is three minutes away. They were extremely kind to us, helping us coordinate transportation to the airport and assisting us with everything. Thank you for making this trip even better. If I return to Istanbul, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Room was quiet even though it faced the street, it was well kept, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were available and polite. Location is really good as it's a 5 minutes walk from the Galata bridge, from the Karakoy Galataport and a 10minutes walk to the Galata tower area. The ferry pier is also located right behind the hotel so you can easily hop on a ferry to other areas of the city. Karakoy is very busy at night, with plenty of places to eat/drink, despite this though the hotel sits on a really quiet street.

The bathroom looked a bit old / it's seen better days. Lot of limescale accumulating along the shower doors / guides, along with some grime. Could do with a bit of a makeover. Roof terrace doesn't seem to be in use if not as a smoking area and it's also closed by windows so not particularly enjoyable, which is a shame as it would have a partial but decent view over the sea and the Bosphorus channel.

Ada Karakoy is at a perfect location in Karakoy as it's closeby to all the nice cafes and port but still in a quite street with no noise at night. It has a wonderful traditional turkish bakery, doner shop and kahva shop (all of which close by 5/6 PM) in the same street which was very convenient. It is very close to tram as well as metro station, both are at walking distance. The beds were extremely comfortable and the windows were completely soundproof. The air conditioning was amazing. The staff was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. They always gave the best advice when it came to directions of the city. Special thanks to Mr.Faruk for making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

This was the best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Turkey. Ideal location, close to Sultanahmet, ferries to Kadikoy and the bustling Karakoy, but also a very quiet (but safe) street. Very clean, and incredibly comfortable with pillow top mattresses. The staff were exceptional, very responsive, and even walked us to meet our airport transfer at 4am.

Rooms are larger than expected for a European hotel, but may be small compared to North American standards. Some rooms have nice street views but others have no view at all, if you are specific it is worth contacting the hotel. The shower heads could be a bit leaky, but water pressure was great.
