Valet stole money out our car

Loved the location for the price. Super close to both State Farm and Mercedes Benz arenas as well as Olympic Park. Got to walk and enjoy the evening air for the Kane Brown concert.

Only big issue I had was the food. Never stayed at a hotel where there wasn’t complimentary breakfast. I understand that there was a more expensive breakfast option, but to even charge for generic continental breakfast was a bit of a shock for my fiancé and I.

Beautiful pool area friendly staff

Had to pay for valet they had no parking except city parking or valet! And then they only had one valet on staff, making us wait in the cold and rain! Plus it was expensive.

Quiet, comfortable beds and convenient.

Parking wasn’t available and the common areas need to be updated.

The room was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful when you went to the desk.

The fact that it was not stated up front that valet was the only means of parking at the hotel, the "destination fee" that was charged or the incidental fee that was required even though we had prepaid for the room. The staff was friendly and helpful if you went to the desk, but was not reachable via phone. The little coffee shop they had was quaint, however there was no free breakfast option. The initial cost of the room was low, but they made sure to nickel and dime you. Ultimately, I likely spent more than I would have if we went with the Hyatt.

I really enjoyed the text feature that you have to offer where you can text the front desk and with my experience they responded in a prompt timely fashion. There is a Metro City Diner that is walking distance which is pretty good. There is also a Subway that is walking distance as well. The gift shop and the Starbucks were great features to have inside the hotel as well for optional choices for snacks and food. They had food trucks outside as well which opened at 2:00 p.m. and they were good.

Our room was very warm and stuffy feeling throughout the whole stay even though the AC was set at 60. The garage is very very tight and the way that it is set up that you have to walk along a pathway through the garage to a side door in order to enter the hotel is very confusing. Not all doors are working to be able to gain access with your car key either. Our stairwell on the first level was locked during the entire stay which is a fire hazard. The layout of the hotel is very confusing. For instance there are two different first floor levels. It takes a couple days to figure out the layout of the land. We found a big spider in our room the first day we were there but after that there was nothing we just let it go outside.

Too expensive for the amenities: no body wash in the shower, paid 3 months in advance in full on booking.com and the hotel started to charge my credit card they asked me to have in case if incidentes, random amounts every single day of my stay so I wasn't able to use my credit card in my whole stay. My flight was delayed because of the storm and even I called to let the hotel know when I arrived because it was after 3pm they forfeited and it caused me more stress on top of the whole flight delayed. The employees of the hotel referred back to Booking.com for the credit card charges and you (Booking.com) don't have anyone to talk about my payment or customer service about this hotel basically you refer me back to the property. After the third day the hotel did a basic room service (sheets, towel, toilet paper and trash) without replenishing the body wash that was empty since we arrived.

The hotel staff were polite and really professional. Also, check-in and out were easy. This hotel's really old, but updates to the building make it look well kept. Having a restaurant/ bar and Starbucks is very convenient and safe. Because it's dark around the downtown area at night.

The hotel was very busy during my stay. So, it was an inconvenience to me for the management to shut off the water overnight for "Schedule Maintenance." Therefore, I checked out and left the hotel before my scheduled date. Plus, my room had a draft from the windows, making it difficult to keep a comfortable temperature.

The guys, especially Albert is always courteous and friendly.

I was disappointed with the staff or the one person working in the Starbucks Cafe. Upon check in, I had received a $10.00 voucher to be used in the hotel. Well, I decided to use the voucher prior to checking out. Therefore, I had ordered a Large Latte and had gotten a pastry. My subtotal was possibly close to $10.00, but when taxes were added, my total was about $.059 over. When I am traveling, I don't travel with cash. The young lady waited on me to scan my credit card for $0.59 cents. I thought that her actions were very tacky, yet totally unacceptable. This has happened more than twice. I think once I had to scan a credit card for $0.39 cents. Finally, I only ordered a coffee which is far more less than $10.00 in order to avoid an extra fee of less than $1.00.
