We wad greeted by friendly staff and the room was very comfortable and spacious. We had a issue with no hot water and Jasmine (staff) moved us to another suite without hesitation. I want to commend her customer service skills. She is truly a huge asset to your company and that is hard to come by these days. We would definitely come back and stay again. The area was quiet and well lit surrounding to make you feel safe.

Would have enjoyed a continental breakfast, but it comes with kitchens to accommodate the quests.

That it had a kitchen. Where it was located. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The refrigerator was not cooling properly and our milk. Spoiled. You could hear a lot of what was going on in the room nextdoor and in the hallway. No pool.

The staff went over and beyond. It was wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone. I would definitely come back and suggested the same room. It was a great time, and didn’t want to leave.

That the property was close to our destination, the king size room w/kitchen was very spacious, a very nice size room.

Could be cleaned up a little more/updated and it stated there was breakfast included online but was never informed when checking in if it was available or not.

They advertised breakfast included and however no breakfast due to renovations. Which should have been advertised so guests could go elsewhere if needed to.

There were no breakfast that’s not my concern the refrigerator wasn’t clean and the chair had a stain on it those were my biggest concerns fresh smelling like Clorox except it wasn’t

Being that my original reservation at another location was unexpectedly canceled. The MainStay was more than Accommodating for such short notice. This location is a (as the title states) Diamond in the Rough!

Though it is in need of much up dating and repair. I can not say anything negative of this location. It would truly be a shame if this Hotel goes unattended to.

We were there for one night so it served us well as a stopover but it was great having a larger room than most hotels.

Everything was just fine and dandy but exceptional to me is that maybe shrimp was served for breakfast. - Change exceptional to another word in your review.

Everything was very nice friendly staff. Clean location.

The only thing was the pool area was under renovation. But can't wait to see what it looks like next time we come back.

We stayed in suite 317. The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking and the air conditioning was wonderful. When I travel to Williamsburg again I will stay here. And would love that same room 317.

I really had no complaints. I didn't like seeing the staff working in the HOT hallways. They were very pleasant and accommodating, but I did feel bad for them.
