I chose this hotel to challenge myself to get to know a slightly less centric part of Copenhagen, and it was the best decision I could have made. I found the hotel quite beautiful, with great design features, very comfortable accommodations, and the nicest staff (which, as we know, can make a real difference). My room was spacious, with a simple and tasteful decor. The bed was probably one of the best I've ever slept in, and the heated bathroom floor is a great feature. You can make your own coffee/tea, and there's also a steamer for your clothes, which can be very handy when we're traveling. Breakfast is really good, with a wide variety of tasty, fresh produces. Also, the complementary wine / gin hours are such a classy and friendly touch! Carlsberg and Vesterbro ended up being my favorite neighborhoods, not only for their architecture, but also for their overall vibe. Metro and train are close enough, which is very convenient, but I actually ended up walking to the city center and that added up to my positive experience of the city.

I'm usually suspicious of 100% positive reviews, but this hotel was honestly a great choice, I really can't point to anything I didn't like.

I enjoyed my stay in Ottilia a lot. First of all, all in all the room and the hotel is very cozy and comfortable. The rooms are large in size, gorgeous high ceilings, the bed was also comfortable. The selection of furniture is very tasteful, several designer peaces. The Bathroom was also very practical. Locationwise it is 10-13 min walk from train or metro. The are around the hotel is very nice, several parks also cafes. I would 100% stay there again. The wine hour and night cap are great ideas even though we didnt get the chance to use them. Super cool hotel!

Not really a very bad thing but : The normal room does not really receives daylight, if I would stay in the hotel then I would get the room with the round window to be able to have daylight. Also if you are staying on the 4th floor in the middle rooms, in the morning you can hear the chairs and tables moving from the breakfast room very loudly.

The highlight of the room was the big round window. Fortunately, a part of it could open up to let in fresh air. Blackout curtains were also provided. The breakfast was excellent and served on top of the building with a lovely view. The afternoon wine offering was a nice touch. We liked the location, a bit outside of the city center, while still easily accessible by bus or metro.

We would have appreciated being able to control the room temperature. When we arrived, the room temperature was 76F. After bringing this to the clerks attention, she suggested that the only way to control the room temp was by opening the window. I don't know if I'd want to stay here in the height of summer.

Lovely hotel with a mixture of old and new architecture in the area. Enjoyed the superb breakfast in the rooftop restaurant and the free night cap or two in the Lobby bar in the evening. Fairly quiet area just on the outskirts of the City but really nice to stay with enough places to eat and drink and access to transport. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Really nice room with round window but lacking privacy with open plan design if having wash or shower. The toilet is separated but you have to come out to the sink to wash hands and if partner or friend is brushing teeth, shaving or washing is a bit awkward.

Room was amazing, bed was comfortable, loved the teas that were in the room. Amazing shower, 10 out of 10, would have one at home. 2 happy hours, every day, and free hot drinks in the morning. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. Great selection of food and drink. A very nice touch, was when we had DND on the door, they let a goodie bag outside with fresh towels, loo roll and tea and coffee top ups.

The drain on the sink gurgles and makes quite a substantial noise while draining the sink. Also, we thought there was a free pool available due to pictures posted, but turns out to be a separate Spa facility below the hotel, at an extra cost. Also no parking available. Get the Easy Park app for cheap parking.

The breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice and delicious. The social spaces were relaxing and the free wine/nightcap were a lovely touch (thank you). The room was spacious and the shower was powerful. A great, welcoming and well decorated hotel in a relatively quiet but convenient location.

The only suggestions would be the following (and this is personal preference): I would have liked a nozzle for the hairdryer-the description said a good hairdryer but for someone with thick hair, this means a powerful hairdryer with a nozzle (otherwise my hair gets frizzy 🦁) Secondly, there were lots of mirrors in the bathroom area but it would have been great if there was one (near a plug) in the bedroom too. That way, I could have dried/straightened my hair whilst my husband used the sink area. These are very minor points and did not detract from the overall excellent stay.

Everything about this hotel is positive. I loved the vibe when I arrived, the staff are amazing and given the grandeur of the hotel, that fantastic attitude from all the staff was so in keeping. The experience you get is “This is a sophisticated hotel, you are important, we want you to have to feel welcome, have fun, but…we also want you to be cool”. This just summed up Copenhagen for me. I didn’t get to enjoy dinner at the hotel, I wish I had, but the restaurant was fully booked. I did have breakfast though and it was a delight…hotels in Copenhagen do seem to offer a decent breakfast, and the Ottilia breakfast is definitely going to be competitive with any others, what sets it apart though is 1) the staff, they are brilliant, and 2) the views…wow!

Nothing really. The lift is a little complicated as you have to choose which rooms you are heading to, but that is a minor frustration.

We lived in a clean and spacious room with the big round window facing the tower view. We also had a tasty and healthy breakfast. We would definitely come again!

There is no fridge in the room, also seems to have no bathroom and toilet ventilation. The location is not very close to the station (around 500m), but can be bearable.

The luxury rooms are amazing. Try to ask for 4:th floor, 2:nd floor can be a bit noisy. Comfortable beds. Rellay great breakfast. Lovely and genrous wine-hour. Friendly staff, and no problem with an eraly check-in. Overall GREAT

The stylish interior is in some functions a little bit to fancy. For example the bath room is completlu without a wall towards the bed, so no privacy and could be irritating if one of yopu wants to got o the bathroom and the other one wants to sleep when the ligts is turned on in the bath room. The pillows is unfortunately also very modern, small and square. The lights in the corridor is also very dimmed - you can hardly orientat yourself on the way to the room :-)

First: Location is perfect. Second: you feel immediately welcome once you step inside. It's a very industrial hotel in a very nice neighboorhood. Plus the hotel has bikes which you can rent for a day, what we did so we could easily move through the city. The staff at the front desk is very happy and make you feel very welcome. Rooms are good. The rooftop terrace was great. The Italian restaurant on the top floor is also very convenient if you don't want to leave the hotel. I would 100% recommend this hotel but...

The women of the housekeeping are so not in line of the vibes you get in the hotel. They are very unfriendly, even rude. They woke us up Saturday morning knocking at our door at 10:00 asking if they could clean the room? Uh NO?! It's our weekend! They didn't even come back to refill coffee or do the beds later that morning, so when we arrived in the hotel late at night, we found our room in the same way we left it. And Sunday morning it was even worse; they knocked at our door at 09:50, asking again if they could clean the room? Very unfriendly and so not the way you should treat your guests. So manager: here's very much room for improvement.
