Rated 4-star, but some aspects felt cheap: - No carpet: great! Creaky floor boards everywhere: not great. - All-white tiles and harsh lighting in the toilet: felt like a hospital ward. - Toilet flush button hard to press; have to hold for 10-15 secs for full flush. - No toiletries shelf in the shower; no shelf below the toilet sink either. - No kettle, coffee, or tea provided. - Opt-in, rather than opt-out cleaning. - Felt dull eating the same food for breakfast 3-days in a row.

Excellent place, ideal for families with kids. The room was spacious, we asked for an extra crib and it was promptly delivered to our door. Very clean. Excellent ventilation system. Good noise insulation. Excellent breakfast with many options for the whole family. The restaurant dinner was very good. Our family had a good time. Excellent common areas where we can lounge and meet other families. The family lounge was very clean, spacious and the playroom was full of board games and stuffs for kids to play with. The daily movie time was very good with good quality and sound. The movie choices were good too. We loved our stayed there and we stayed for a week! Best Scandic hotel of all the Scandic that we have stayed.

The smoking area was in the garden near the swing and chess area. Very annoying. The parking lot was huge, but somehow we still struggled to find a place if we happen to come back late in the evening.

The location was great, free parking space with lots of slots to park! mini golf and chess in the inner garden was wonderful to making my kids entertained. Very good air conditioner, much appreciated when the temperature was about 28 degrees during our visit!

The breakfast was good, but things were not placed correctly, I think, because for making a sandwich, one needs to go all around the buffe area! I think they could make a reservation for 3-4 time slots for breakfast to not to get a pick between 8:00 and 8:30. The floor in the room was not clean! corners, under desk, and under beds were full of dust. It seems that they just clean the open areas between beds and the corridor. The rubbish bin in the toilet was too small. One needs to empty it every day. Just 3 hangers to hang clothes, but there were a lot of clothes rod! How to hang clothes without hangers?!

We loved our stay! Over the course of a multi-city trip, we stayed in 4 different hotels, three of them being Scandics, and Scandic Sydhavnen was our favorite of the four! The room was comfortable, with plenty of storage and excellent water pressure in the shower. The sauna was a great place to relax at the end of a long day. The proximity to public transportation made it very easy to get into the city for sightseeing. The highlight of our stay, however, was the wonderful buffet breakfast, with its wide range of options. None of the other hotels could quite measure up to the expectations this hotel set. We'd happily stay again!

There is plenty of parking right out front of the hotel, all you need to do is scan the QR code at reception and register your car for the length of stay. The room was clean and neat and had everything that I needed and I thought the room was a little larger than I would normally expect and it had a lounge which was greatly appreciated. The train line is about 5 minutes walk and it is two stops to Copenhagen central. From there you change to the metro for other areas of the city. The place to go on the metrol (line 3 red) is Kongens Nytrov which is the tourist district. The breakfast is massive with lots of choices and quite good, and the restaraunt in the evening is not a bad choice to have something to eat.

Good value for money for Copenhagen, friendly/helpful staff, and convenient location near a train station with quick access into the historical centre. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a decent breakfast offering which could have included more fresh fruit.

Better attention to minor details in the room would have made it a better stay, including ensuring that toiletries are adequately replenished before check-in (conditioner hadn’t been refilled prior to my arrival), adding hand/body lotion to the amenities, and testing that all lights work (one of the bedside lights didn’t work). Also, during a three night stay the room wasn’t cleaned and it would have been nice to at least have the option of fresh towels toward the end of the stay.

It was clean, comfortable, breakfast was really good and hotel staff helpful and friendly. In this hotel it was possible to leave your bags before and after checking in/out

My son and I stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was very busy due to Copenhagen Pride and Comicon, but despite that our room was quiet and cool. The space was decent and bathrooms clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for our purposes and staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was good, a bit crowded, but had nice selection.

When the buffet was really crowded, the food wasn't replaced very fast, despite that there was still an hour until it closed. We didn't experience that on the other days we stayed, however, and the staff was quick to clean tables even when it was busy.

Breakfast: Superb! A wide variety is available including waffles, bread, cereals, fruits, salad, yogurt, coffee, multiple juices, chocolates, croissants, and more. Early Breakfast: Can be arranged from 4 AM upon request. It includes buns, jams, ham, cheese, milk, cereals, juice, nuts, and yogurt. Bedroom: Spacious enough for two. While there's no kettle or facility to prepare coffee in the room (which wasn’t mentioned in advance), it wasn’t a big issue. Washrooms were clean. Drinking water isn’t complimentary and needs to be ordered separately. Daily housekeeping for free can be arranged. Staff: Friendly and responsive. Access: Convenient location, just 250–300 meters on foot to the nearest bus or local train stop.

The hotel room was a nice size with a big bathroom that had lots of counter space which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and offered gluten free often as well. Location was conveniently located right in front of a bus stop and 7 min walk to the s-train so we enjoyed the area.

The room didn’t have a mini fridge or a kettle and some of the surface areas were dusty when we arrived/throughout our stay. The hotel offers ‘light cleaning’ upon request. We were surprised that when we arrived and went to take a shower that there wasn’t shampoo in the bottle and had to call reception to bring some. These are just little things. Overall it was a nice stay.
