Beautiful bay with very close reefs full of colorful fish Hotel is right next to the beach which is way better than the other bigger hotels in Makadi. Staff was very helpful. We were a family of 5 and one was handicapped. They supplied a manual wheelchair to use on the beach. Food was generally ok.

Room cleanliness and speed of service( on the beach) can be improved but not a big deal.

We stayed one week with our family and hotel is super nice, the best part is the food this is the best food i had in all inclusive resort ever. The staff in the main restaurant is very nice, the chef personally come to our kids several times, we really enjoyed the food. The beach is nice, sandy, enough sunbed for everyone you can snorkel around the reefs. The programs are also nice. Gym little bit old, but good for a quick workout, the outside gym is a plus. Aquapark great and the shuttle is convenient.

The kids club is not suitable for children under 4, it is very small and mostly closed during the day, very short opening hours. The playground is very small and no shade at all. Kids pool not heated, it was around 23 degrees water heat during april. Since the kids club is closed, the pools are cold you can not do much during peak sun hours just stay in the room.

The rooms were quiet, well-insulated, and furnished with comfortable beds and amenities. • Staff: The hotel staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and always willing to help• hotel was close to major attractions yet far enough to provide a peaceful retreat. Accessibility and convenience were top-notch. • Every area of the hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless. Housekeeping maintained high standards of hygiene throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking quality, comfort, and outstanding service. I look forward to staying here again!

We stayed at Jaz Makadina from 5.7. to 12.7.2025 in room 435 as a family with two kids and had a truly relaxing, worry-free holiday. The hotel strikes a rare balance: it’s family-friendly without being loud or chaotic. Everything felt clean, calm, and well-organized. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a terrace that opened to a peaceful garden. The beach is just steps away, sandy and safe for kids, with shallow entry, plenty of shade and always available loungers. Meals were a daily highlight. Great variety, lots of fresh options, and something for everyone – even our picky eaters were happy. Staff in the restaurant were warm and attentive without being overbearing. Although we didn’t use the water park or kids’ club, it’s clear the hotel is well-equipped for families who want more activity. For us, the slow pace and quiet setting were exactly what we needed. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, good service, and a break from the usual rush.

I really don ´t know, we didn´t miss anything. The staff here makes all the expected and even unexpected things. You just feel like you are the ONLY one here.

Everything were at hand reach, which came especially practical with our toddlers. The pools are great, with a specific one for the toddlers / babies. The staff is really friendly, there is always someone looking for your wishes. The main restaurant is superb, with an amazing amount and types of foods. Everything was really good and deliscious. Finally, the biggest value is how the hotel treated the fact that my wife left her engagement ring in the room when we left the hotel. They found it and helped us to contact with a family whom we befriended with during our stay, but we didn’t know their exact names. The Front Office did everything they could to help and now we arranged that the family will bring the ring and send it to us. We really appreciate this from the hotel. This type of customer service differentiates hotel in this league.

The only thing we liked less is that our room was really dark, especially compared to the pictures on Booking.com or the hotel’s official website.

The staff's exceptional warmth and helpfulness made our stay truly special. ​Family-Friendly: Perfect for kids with a simple play area (swings/slides), activities for young children, and convenient shuttle access to a fantastic aqua park with options for all ages. ​Amenities & Scenery: The free Wi-Fi coverage everywhere was excellent. We also loved the abundant green spaces all over the property, which were very pleasant and relaxing to look at. A lovely, well-sized swimming pool sits at the heart of the property. I was very pleased that they have a burkini-friendly policy, making it comfortable for everyone. Suggestions for Improvement: ​Minibar Content: We suggest offering guests the option to have alcohol removed from the minibar upon check-in, similar to how one can choose a non-smoking room. ​Prayer Facility: We noticed there wasn't a mosque or a dedicated prayer room on-site, which would be a valuable addition for many guests. ​Terrace Area: The terrace where the evening animation shows are held can get a bit crowded. While it was acceptable, better organization or seating arrangement would improve the experience. Despite these minor points, it was a fantastic stay, and we left with great memories, largely thanks to the amazing hotel team."

This was an EXCELLENT hotel with all the right fixings for a family vacation! First of all the food was amazing. There was such a huge selection at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They offered fresh stations where they would make food and there was a great balance between western and Egyptian meals. The staff was so courteous and kind and would go over and beyond for each of the guests. The rooms were so spacious and centrally located. All the details in this hotel were well thought of. There was a dive center where my husband got his advanced diving certification. There is an amazing house reef right off the coast while still having a sandy beach. The executive Chef Nageh Mohammed became our best friend and would check on us daily to make sure we were having a great experience. The hotel also included a water park, Makadi Water World, that we went to twice. The kids enjoyed every aspect of this vacation. EVERYTHING about this place was perfect, I will be definitely coming back yearly!

I would like to thank all the staff and the CO for offering an excellent experience for us , the hotel is super clean the room r spacious and very comfortable , the hotel is cozy and very easy to access the bars the restaurants and the beach. They have a wonderful beach u can see the corals and the fish without even leaving the hotel. U can do snorklings in the hotel which is great. The chef can make u anything even if it's not in the menu they just want to please their guests.i never saw a hotel that clean they clean the restrooms every 10 mins ! I highly recommend this hotel and surely will return again.
