All the facilities were in good order and well maintained. The staff were very helpful especially the reception Mr Ahmed on night shift was very helpful and very polite well spoken a friend for life I would say. Also the general manager of the hotel Mr Ibrahim a great man very well spoken and a true gentleman a man of his word and another friend for life. I would highly recommend staff near the poolside were great also the head chef what a legend all hotel staff in the salon massage and all other area what a true example of a perfect hotel to stay at highly recommended 👌

I have stayed at the Solymar a few times. It's not expensive and a great location. Despite it being in Naama bay the noise is quiet as it is not amongst the major noise. I am staying ain't in December. Its a quiet small hotel with a nice calm vibe. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to accommodate you.

I am happy that the entertainment at the hotel is minimal as I go out clubbing at all the main parties but if you are expecting hotel entertainment every night this is not the place.

The staff is the most advantage in the hotel ... i had some problems ciz i booked then i went to hotel after 10 min. ..they fixed it profissionally .. I would like to thank mr emad restaurant manager ..chief sami .. the waiter mohamed from alex .. all the recieption staff ... Our room was family room which is big beds are comfortable .. 2 bathrooms are clean .. Food was delicious & really tasty ... Location is ok just max.10 min walking to naama bay .

The adult swimming pool needs more space .. The children one needs moe care ..

The food and the staff were the absolute best part of staying here. All the food I had was really good,I was especially impressed by the dessert table. Special praise to the chef, Mr. Mohamed, who made the Umm Ali dessert just for me because I wanted it. The hotel surroundings are exceptionally well-maintained with greenery and flowering plants.🌺🌴

The property area was nicely kept clean. However, rooms were a bit dusty in some areas. The rooms did not have WiFi. Toiletries were not provided, only one soap in the shower. No hairdryer, no kettle. My room was a bit dark because of poor lightening. The door from the bathroom was not easily opening. Apart from my room and wifi, everything else was okay.

I liked the swimming pool and the territory of the hotel. The staff were nice. However, there is no certain level of authority among staff to make some decisions. Every time you ask them for some change in service or an extra service they always had to run it through manager or someone else.

The reception was very good and I checked in early. I thank Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Mohamed and all the staff who were very cooperative, especially the restaurant manager, Mr. Khairat Ahmed, who works to make sure everything is good and always smiles and helps me with my children’s food requests. The food is very good and varied, especially sweets, and there is a grilled section. The restaurant is open, the rooms are completely clean and the room service is very helpful. The location is very good in Naama Bay The sea is very close, buses are air-conditioned, and flights are regular every 30 minutes. It was a wonderful experience

Exceptional stay at the hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. Although room cleaning fell short, the delicious food and thoughtful breakfast for our early departure made up for it. The abundance of activities was a pleasant surprise, and while I can't recall all the names, everyone was exceptionally nice. Overall, an amazing experience, just a minor hiccup in room cleanliness."

No WiFi but the entire city didn't have, the only place with WiFi was at the reception and the kitchen. Cleanness in the bedroom was lacking, better cleaning must be improvised.

The team were the highlight of this hotel, they couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and looked after - they work so hard! We were upgraded to a larger room with a nice sized balcony. We had a great experience with the tailor based in the hotel - would recommend visiting!

The cleanliness of the room was a bit lacking, there was broken glass on the floor which wasn't cleaned. The fridge & TV weren't working. We weren't bothered enough to tell reception but I know they would have replaced them had we have informed them during the stay. The wi-fi situation isn't great and should definitely be upgraded for a better experience. As you will read from other reviews, the rooms are dated but the property grounds are beautiful and so well looked after.

This a small hotel has a family feel to it. The staff are extremely attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms, whilst a little tired, are impeccably clean and tidy - thank you to the amazing house-keeping team. Late check outs, and last day, day- use was easily facilitated by the reception team, the pool team kept the whole area spotless, animation team took good care of everyone too. In the buffet style restaurant, chefs were accessible for any special dietary requirements and again, spotless facilities.

En suite bathrooms could do with updating and had an odour to them but apart from that, spotlessly clean!
