I love the atmosphere of the common areas. The location was perfect as it was next door to gelato and yummy meal options and even a convenience store. Unfortunately, we did not get to check out the sauna or the rooftop bar, but my husband was able to continue working on his physical therapy in their gym with available yoga mats.

The bathroom had a constant smell of poo poo. It was like that before we even got there and every time I walked into the bathroom I could smell it over and over again. I don't know what that was, but it's not the hotel's fault I am sure. Another comment that is not the fault of the hotel, is the European style bed. That is, two twin beds and not a single bed. It makes cuddling with my husband a little bit more difficult. But we managed. We always do.

The location is central. A short walk to Museumsinsel and points of interest. It is about a two minute walk to the S-Bahn that the East/West lines--one station to Friedrichstrasse station and one in the other direction to Alexanderplatz. The staff is super friendly, the room is quite large and has a lovely seating area. There were 5 trams parked directly below my window, but at night, I closed the window and the curtains and I never heard the outside world. On the last night of my 5 night stay, I discovered the rooftop bar, which was almost empty, and a great place to have a drink and look out over the city.

The shower worked well, but the pitch on the shower floor is off and because of this all the water pools in the far corner of the shower, and then leaks onto the bathroom floor. It never dried up. The hotel obliged provided me with additional towels so I could sop up the water, but that's hardly an adequate solution. It really needs to be repaired. Others have complained about it over time and it should be addressed.

The hotel was well located, just a short walk away from a main area, with good tram access. The room was great, the bed was comfortable and the decor was lovely. The bar was lovely with a roaring fire, and the drinks were well mixed and reasonably cheap. My colleagues had the breakfast and although quite expensive at euro23.50, they really enjoyed it. The price was great too.

The bathroom is very very tiny, with the loo being so close to the basin and the shower screen that moving around is quite difficult. The shower screen seems to stop a bit short and after two showers, I had water in the whole of the bathroom and a small amount actually made it under the door into the room.

The route to the room was very complicated and confusing, we got a bit lost sometimes, I’m not sure why the layout is this way but clearly it’s not something they can really fix it’s just the layout of the building, but signs could’ve been clearer and made it easier to find our way to our room

Room very good comfy and safe. Breakfast I only had once wasn't too bad and very good location. Train station very near and the market was good. Sites were not too far from hotel apart from other locations.

Hard to say what not too like. The breakfast wasn't too bad but the some choices I didn't like. But night before I got sick but that was my fault. When I saw the sausages and that the cappuccino wasn't too bad I was happy enough

My step grandchildren were visiting from the United States and we met at the hotel for breakfast. We were the last ones to dine, taking our time to catch up on our travels and we lingered past the breakfast finish time. The staff worked around us, we never felt we were an inconvenience and I was thrilled when the chef came out to say hello and share that the lox was from Norway. THE LOX, BY THE WAY, WAS FABULOUS!!! Whenever I passed the staff in the halls or elevators, they were welcoming and friendly. I REALLY, REALLY liked the bath gels...ohlala!

Not so much that I didn't like...I did not know to put my key card in the switch by the door in order to turn the lights on. My son was with me when I checked in and knew this process. I think this is a clever idea, but, as a new person I would have walked back to the desk.

Superb location, close to lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, transport and only 10mins walk to Museum Island. Still a quiet hotel - we heard no noise even though our room overlooked the tram stop. We were given an upgrade to a suite in the new wing when we arrived which was very much appreciated. The suites (we had two rooms next to each other) were a great size and had lovely decor. I think some of the other rooms in the original building could be a little compact so I would definitely book the suite again. Rooftop bar was great as was the lounge to relax in with a nice fire. Staff were very professional and welcoming. They also have a small gym and spa downstairs that is just being put in - I used the gym, again nicely decorated and with all the machines you need for a cardio workout.

Lack of laundry service but that is very minor.

I've stayed here often. It is stylish, very clean, and well-kept. The breakfast is really excellent. The location is very good for transport networks: easy access to S-Bahn and trams, connecting to airport, main stations, and (in my case on this trip) the conference centre in Wannsee I was attending. The staff are very nice and could not be more helpful. The rooms are small but thoughtfully laid out, but this time I had an upgrade to a larger room which was very comfortable (327).

The WiFi was not super reliable at busy times.

We opted for comfort single rooms. They were a little smaller than expected and the room not easiest to circulate in as it was long and narrow. But it was comfortable and clean. Location is great as it is a 2min walk from the metro station and is in an area where there are a lot of restaurants/cafes ect... Also a short distance from many museums.

Shape of the room. The air conditioning would always go back to 18 degrees even after putting the temperature up slightly.

The location and the design

The thermostat in the room was not working and has not been repaired during our stay, The hairdryer was on the cheap side and as soon as I started using it stopped working. The room was on the small side and quite dark. We were under the impression that the breakfast was included (probably my misunderstanding when I booked) but we ended up paying almost 50 euro more per day than expected.
