This was not the first time we spent a night in this hotel. The hotel is very close (right opposite) to the airport (DXB Terminal 3), but you should not think you can simply cross the road (the motorway). No way! Take a taxi (26 AED from DXB T3 to the hotel) or use the hotel's free shuttle bus instead. The shuttle bus departs every whole hour (i.e. 8:00, 9:00, etc.) from the hotel and 10-12 minutes later (i.e. 8:10, 9:10, etc.) from the airport. Just follow the hotel shuttle bus sign! But I am not sure if the shuttle bus is also available at night. Another feature of the hotel is the excellent breakfast that satisfies all needs and tastes. We really appreciated that breakfast was available from 6 am, so we didn't have to miss breakfast (which was included in the price) and we were able to catch our plane without rushing because the hotel provided the shuttle bus also at 6:30. It was very kind from the hotel.

Just two small remarks: 1 - we noticed that the wall-to-wall carpets in the hallways were very much worn. A good hotel like this should pay attention to the apprearance. 2 - In January, the air conditioning in the hotel was slightly exaggerated.

Friendly staff, proximity to the airport, the presence of a travel agent to provide fast assistance to tourists. Reasonably priced.

Lack of some amenities in the bathroom (ex. shower cap, cotton buds, floor towel, slippers) although maybe you can request these but we did not try.

The property has complimentary airport shuttle every 30 minutes 24/7, the shuttle also goes to the mall and the beach. There are shops and restaurant on the same block if you don’t want to eat at the hotel and when you need basic things. Their complimentary breakfast is continental. The WiFi works perfectly. My room had 2 beds,mini bar, tv, closet with light and a prayer mat, table and chair and a bathroom. The staff is friendly and were helpful whenever I was in need. There is also information desk for tourists.

The airport pick up was confusing. The driver seemed to be in a hurry. I had to run with the cart to the parking spot. It was not made clear that someone will pick you up and there was no need to panic in the heat. Waiting in the heat could have been avoided.

The location is close to the airport. Free shuttle departs form terminal 3, but I have found it difficult to find the bus. The breakfast is good.

The towels were not perfectly clean. The room is OK for the money. Free shuttle to the dubal mall is just once per day 10.30 am. I wasn't mentioned on the website.

Breakfast was good, withany choices. Location is quite far to destinations but accessible with public transportation like Metro.

The experience was good, however, the first date of check-in, we suffered the smokers scent in the room for the whole night, though we booked and specifically asked for a non-smoking room and a large bed, until the manager accomodated and assisted us the following day. The place is always fully book, so, advisory to other travellers is to ensure that the room given before leaving the counter, is as what is requested. Because, even we asked , they still gave the smoking allowed room and later on, there is no more available room.

Ideal hotel for an overnight stay. What I valued the most - there is a shuttle bus to/from the airport every 30 minutes or so. There is also shuttle service from the hotel to the Dubai Mall every morning. At the airport, just find the sign "shuttle bus". There is no specific sign for Holiday Inn bus though and there are numerous buses coming to and fro, so you need a sharp eye. The room was rather small but the area was surprisingly very quiet, given the proximity of the airport. I slept really well. Everything was spotless clean. Breakfast was satisfactory, nothing to complain about there.

Overall, our stay was good, but we had a couple of issues. The food in the bar was a bit hit-and-miss—mostly fine, but the Bangers and Mash were disappointing. The sausages were poor quality, and I struggled to finish even one out of hunger. Definitely room for improvement there. The newly refurbished rooms look great, but the design isn’t as practical as I’d hoped. The bedside ledge is far too small—I could barely fit my mobile phone and glasses on it. To make things worse, on one side, the room phone took up nearly the entire space, leaving no room for anything else. A total design failure. Also, the removal of the desk makes working or even using a laptop quite uncomfortable. Sitting on the chair with that small table just doesn’t work well. The showers are another example of a good idea that doesn’t quite work. While they are powerful and modern, the lack of a door means water splashes out, making a mess in the bathroom. Would still consider staying again, but these design flaws need to be addressed.

The bedside tables (or ledges) are too small, offering barely any space to place essentials like a phone and glasses. One side had a room phone that took up almost the entire ledge—poor design. There is no desk, making it difficult to work comfortably. The room chair is not designed for extended sitting, making working at the small table quite uncomfortable. The shower cubicle is not enclosed, causing water to splash out, which makes the bathroom messy. While the refurbishment looks modern, the functionality of the room design falls short.
