Barceló Nervión is perfectly located to explore the centre of Bilbao, the museums and shops. Inspite of this location it is very quiet. Staff was very friendly and professional. The interior of the house is, as in all Barceló hotels, gorgeous and tasteful. My single room was small (of course) but very comfy. I did not have breakfast but I suppose the price is alright.

My room had a view of the backyard, which is no prob, but the backyard could be cleaner and tidier. My modern TV allowed me to use apps but when I wanted to use youTube it never worked. The shower piece was broken so that I got wet all over when I just wanted a normal shower (without hairwash).

Our stay was enjoyed by the whole family. We all really like your relaxed family atmosphere. The breakfast offering was a great start to each day. Excellent choices for the whole family. The gentleman, at the front desk with the red framed glasses,( sorry I missed his name) was a great assist on the transfer to San Sebastian, saving me about 200 euros over my solution. Your location is exceptional. It allows people to hit many of the attraction in a short period of time. It was a great landing spot into Spain. Thank you for your thoughtful touches on the crib you provided.

Bed was really comfortable and it was very quiet.

The bathroom setup in the room is poor. The downside of having the shower and sink in the bedroom and not contained within a self contained bathroom is as follows: It may look fancy and make the room feel bigger but it is less than practical - imagine needing the loo in the middle of the night and having to wash your hands almost beside the bed (in the same room) potentially waking someone. The same if you went to have a shower when someone is asleep - it's a no go.

The location of the hotel - half-way between the Guggenheim museum and the Old Town - was perfect for a sightseeing trip. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was great.

The view from the room was not attractive. The breakfast (17 euros) was too expensive for people who just want a coffee and a yoghurt, or something small to start the day. We asked for information about how to travel to San Sebastien but the staff didn't mention that the bus needed to be booked in advance. (We went to the bus station to find that there was no bus that morning, and had to book for the following day).

Everything was excellent. The hotel is excellent and well located near The Guggenheim museum and the old Town. The Room very nice and comfortable. The Breakfast assorted with local specialties like the famous "Chistorras" a tasty sausage. Also the friendly Staff at the Bar to enjoy a fresh bear or if you want to taste a nice dinner like we did, at the hotel restaurant, to make a different evening before going out for a night walk, great! we really enjoyed it!

It's a pretty big hotel located close to the city center. The room is comfortable (thogh the bathroom design doesn't give a lot of privacy if you stay with another person on the room). The bed is nice and there are a lot of pillows. I also liked the breakfast. Check-in and check-out were fast and nice.

Room service/bar food is a disaster. I ordered a burger which was very oily and bland at the same time, and later pasta which was stuck together.

We decided to stay at this hotel, because we love the beds of the Barcelo chain.the room was comfortable and the beds amazing, but we had a view of these weeds and a building, which we were disappointed.We got our room with breakfast, so we didn’t pay attention if the room had a coffee maker. But it did have a small refrigerator. The shower was super small, and it had a separate toilet. The toilet door was kind of stuck also. it had toiletries in the bathroom and nice towels and a blow dryer, and electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. These rooms need a little upgrade though. The breakfast was amazing, but the first day when we got in, it was packed. But they still brought me my gluten-free warm bread.. there is a parking with an additional charge. The front desk was very helpful and helped us with restaurant recommendations. Eugenio did our reservations for a superb restaurant for us. Walking distance to the Guggenheim and to the restaurants and cable car. There was a small Carrefour walking distance too.Great location!

The rooms are a little dated. When we got in, they had left dirty towels hanging in the toilet room. We are used to get a robe and sandals from the other Barceló hotels and we didn’t get any here.We asked the front desk and they said we have to request them. We were very disappointed by our view.

Beautiful, modern room that is actually bigger than the picture online shows. Big breakfast buffet with gluten-free bread/muffin Great location along the river just minutes of walking distance from the Guggenheim museum and the Old Town. Room service at night came within 20 minutes as I had been notified.

We arrived when one of Bilbao's big Holidays started which meant fully booked hotel, crowds at breakfast (even though their sign lets you know which times are low/medium/high occupancy during breakfast!) and lots of noise late at night from the concerts going on nearby. Check the Holiday calendar beforehand if you are sensitive to that! Dinner options were only in the dining room which was the same as the breakfast room with little atmosphere. No snacks were served in the bar area. However, room service had a nice selection and the delivery was timely.

Unfortunately in our period we had to tell the staff about two mistakes: when we arrived, we were given a very noisy room, and two days later it was impossible to get into the garage. Errors can happen everywhere, the question is how to handle them. Here, in a 4-star hotel, both problems were solved in a 5-star way. The room was immediately changed for us, and of course we didn't have to pay for parking, in fact, we received a small gift of ham and wine tasting as compensation. Location is superb! Excellent parking, albeit a bit tight. I spilled some red one on a very costly dress shirt while out dining at mid-day. I immediately took the shirt to the hotel. That same day they had it laundered and pressed to perfection and the stain was completely gone. They had the shirt placed in my room while we were out. For a total cost of 10€, SIMPLY OUTSTANDING! Very impressed with the hotel & staff. Rooms were superb and breakfast was magnificent. Most highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for luxury and convenience in such a perfect location!
