The hotel is quite centrally located next to Atocha train station with the ability to reach every part of the city easily. El Retiro park is quite close for a walk, as are many wonderful museums. The room was nice - I find the modern design with the sink in the main area and toilet/shower separate to be working quite well. A+++ for cleanliness and the system they have to choose if you want your towels changed. The bed was quite comfortable! The Sessions restaurant had tasty food & the service was decent. The whole Hard Rock Hotel vibe overall rocks :) The staff was pleasant and always eager to help ( Miguel & Jalid especially ).

The pool area, although a nice bonus, isn't great with the sun shining only from 1 to 6 PM. ( nothing that the hotel can do for the neighboring buildings, though ) - The Balinese beds are definitely not worth it, compared to the freely available sunbeds. The price of a 500ml bottle of water for €5 is atrocious, especially at the pool bar ( a bottle of soda is €4.5 in comparison ) The rooftop left a lot to be desired, not only in terms of the service but also the overall vibe/experience. The internet was a bit spotty at times, both for our phones and for the smart TV.

Without exception, the Front of House and Backstage team worked together to help make our stay in Madrid a very happy time. THANK YOU ALL! They all excelled at their jobs to make sure our experience, as guests, was exceptional. From our check-in on Tuesday afternoon to our check out on Sunday afternoon we had the best time so, a big THANK YOU to you all. We also want to say a special mention to.... MIGUEL on reception. Even though you were busy checking in other customers, you managed to find the time to help sort out our tickets for our "once in a lifetime" concert to see AC/DC. SAMUEL. Your advice about 'must see' sights of Madrid was spot on. We enjoyed everywhere we visited. SAMUEL, SOFIA and LAURA also made sure our 38th wedding anniversary was made extra special by leaving a lovely gift in our room. It made our day. The 3 musketeers stepped in again when a phone was dropped in the taxi. They contacted the company on our behalf and let us know when the phone was returned so we could continue to enjoy our day. Well done, and thank you so much. The HardRock hotel is within an easy 10-minute walk of the main train station, and there is a metro station attached to it. Buses also stop nearby. There are a lot of attractions within easy walking distance, and others are a short taxi ride away. Bars, restaurants and shops are in good supply nearby. We highly recommend the HardRock hotel and, if we return to Madrid, we will stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at Hard Rock Hotel Madrid! The staff were all amazing—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I also enjoyed the nice pool and well-equipped gym—both clean and well-maintained. The hotel itself is very modern and stylish, with updated facilities and an extremely high level of cleanliness throughout. Its location is great too—convenient and close to key spots in the city. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madrid!

We had a fantastic weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid with our family. The service was excellent throughout our stay, warm, professional, and very family-friendly. We drove to the hotel, and the secure on-site parking made things so much easier, especially in a part of Madrid where parking is usually difficult. The hotel was great for our 6-year-old, from the friendly staff to the beautiful swimming pool, everything felt welcoming. A special mention to Alberto, the lifeguard, who was always attentive and made sure our daughter was safe while swimming. Breakfast was another highlight. Jimena, from the restaurant team, truly made us feel at home every morning. She was kind and patient with our daughter Gaelle, bringing her pancakes and even pencils to colour, such thoughtful service! Our room was very comfortable and clean, and overall, we felt truly at home during our stay. We’ll definitely be back.

The Hard Rock Hotel staff made my and my family vacation a very memorable one. The attention to detail and their services to make sure that everyone in our group was comfortable and happy has left a life lasting impression. From the front desk, the servers at dinner time, the bartender and the security person that stand by the front door and the breakfast staff has giving to every member of my family a heart felt welcome and a memorable stay. I would most likely be recommending The Hard Rock Hotel to friends and family and it is without a doubt a Hotel that I would be coming back thanks to the amazing service that it was provided during our stay.

Hard Rock was welcoming and had a great timely response to messages. I did make my reservation and let them know I was bringing my service dog. They assisted with setting up a private transfer from the airport. Again, communication was great. Even though we didn't need a dog bed and bowls they brought my pup one. Breakfast/ brunch was fanastic.

Gym area was extremely small and brunch was a bit expensive, but its a hotel. Also, the hotel is located right outside of the city center which for some people may be a problem.

The property was clean and vibrant, the staff were friendly and helpful. For instance there was a very minor issue with something in the bathroom, I reported it so they would know it needed fixing, but they fixed it immediately.

The doors - perhaps for security, noise or perhaps air temperature control (or all of them) - operated on an airlock principle, you couldn’t open the sinner doors until the outer doors had shut. The timing was such that you would be standing at the second doors by the time the first doors shut. Then if you didn’t move the doors would remain shut.

Location can hardly be bettered, as the hotel is 5-10 minutes’ walk from Atocha Station. The hotel vibe is not subtle but it is entertaining and staff members were uniformly kind and helpful. Rooms were a little on the cosy side, but well-appointed, very quiet and comfortable. The Calle Argamusa nearby offers many opportunities for bohemian, relaxed eating and drinking.

The price we paid was not quite justified by the facilities. The location of the washbasin in the main part of the room is quirky, to say the least. Staff did not explain that the roomcard was needed to operate the lift (although I accept that this is becoming standard).

Everything is very clean, at the highest standard, and the stuff is very friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Rooms and equipment is new and everything is very well maintained. Location is great, walking distance for everything that you want to see in a city break

While I am not sure this is cultural or kind of a standard in the area, I am not happy with the idea that the bathroom sink sits the room. However, very common to most of the hotels that we benchmark for this trip. Very happy with the choice we’ve made

Parking for a low Porsche was great, bit of a struggle to find the entrance to the car park (it’s behind and down the side of the fuel station). Staff were great and friendly.

The noise funnels from the bar up to the rooms, we thought there was a party going on but when we went down in the lift it was only about 8 people chatting at the bar. Getting to the hotel with the luggage from the car park is a pain!
