We had a quick stop in San Antonio on the way to a family wedding. Just one night/day in the city and the LaQuinta suited us to a tee. The staff worked to get our two rooms near each other (great when traveling with an elderly parent) and absolutely exceeded expectations with the shuttle service that was offered. Transportation from the hotel to a great nearby restaurant (54th Street Bar & Grill) with the return trip just a phone call away. Mom loved the giant waffle in the shape of Texas that made the complementary breakfast special. Very pleased with the whole experience.

The customer service was the best we’ve received to-date. Why? We had an issue with our booking.com and payment card. Alex (front desk) was amazing and extremely patient every step to help resolve our issue. He even retrieved a 1-800 number for us to call our digital card issuer. Within, a few minutes we had a new hotel reservation through booking.com again. The original payment issue was completely resolved and we were able to get checked into the hotel. The manager did not charge us any fees due to our payment dilemma. The entire team was phenomenal! We will continue to remain loyal and committed to staying at the La Quinta hotels. This made our entire trip to San Antonio a very memorable and positive experience. Thanks to and the manager for such a great experience and KUDOS to your superb team!!!! Thank you. A few issues with teenagers running and laughing out loud in the hallways between 2:00 -3:30 am on one night. We forgot to let the hotel staff know about this. No other noted issues.

Location. Close to the airport, Whataburger, a restaurant and lots of shopping opportunities.

Needed more maintenance. I emailed the front desk twice but hey never replied. I went to the desk to confirm they received the emails and they told me they were too busy to check. In the photos: light switch did not work, the shower head was caked with calcium, the grip in the tub was coming off the wall and the door trim behind the bathroom door was rotted from water or termites. The vent fan in the bathroom needed to be replaced. It came on with the light and made disturbing loud high pitched noise. After replacing it, suggest a separate switch to turn it on/off.

The room was nice. Comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast waffles were delicious. I loved the Texas shaped waffle iron. Overall, my stay was pleasant. I recommend staying here if you’re in the area. It’s close to the airport and they have a free shuttle service. There are other conveniences nearby.

The eggs and sausage didn’t meet my expectations. I would have appreciated free water. Or an available water cooler throughout the stay. No daily housekeeping was a slight inconvenience.

Overall, I had a decent experience with this hotel; the staff was accommodating, room was spacious and clean. Ac kept the room cool and was quiet. There was a security guard roaming the parking lot which I appreciate. There's a Walmart and gas station nearby which is a bonus for me. Highway nearby so its easy to get in and out of the city.

There was remodeling being done above my room so it was noisy. Tv wasn't working upon arrival, but maintenance was quick to fix it. Good job! Water pressure wasn't great. Had to play with the shower handle.

The staff was great!

Our stay was okay and customer service at the front desk was great!! However, there are a couple items to bring to your attention: 1) Our room was on the 6th floor just a couple doors down from the ice machine. The machine was out of ice and beeps constantly which we could hear all night long. 2) The fan cover in the bathroom is loose and rattles when running. Both these items should be repaired for future guests as they are quite annoying. Not sure we'd stay there again as the traffic noise from the freeway and sideboards is quite loud.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. I appreciated how many waffle makers they had out for breakfast. I was very pleased that the hotel had flavored cream for our coffee.

The breakfast could have been better if they had oatmeal already prepared with toppings. Also, it would have been nice to have other bread besides white bread or a waffle. Lastly, please invest in some thicker coffee cups or a sleeve for the cups you already have.

Only a 5 minute shuttle ride from the airport. Even staff member I spoke with was so nice and made me want to stay there again in the future. My fridge made an odd sound all night, but I just turned the AC on and drowned it out. I wasn't a fan of how the water tasted, but that could just be from being out of town and not used to it. My room was gorgeous and well cleaned. The bathroom products were Dove, so I was impressed by that. Overall, I would definitely recommend for others to stay here if traveling to San Antonio.

Everything in my stay was perfect from the amenities to the staff attitude . This hotel is a gem close to the airport and very accommodating. They even cleaned my room when I was out to eat , made everything fresh again . If you are also looking for a hot tub/pool look no further even with Texas weather the hot tub was so nice for a worn out traveler . Id recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean hotel .

Our stay was great! Staff (especially Rose) was very helpful in checking us in early. Hotel is clean, room was clean and breakfast was good. Its in a very good location 5 minutes away from the airport and around 10-15 minutes to Riverwalk. It's around 15-20 minutes away from the Frost Bank Center if you're seeing a game or show there!

Some times our key wouldn't work or it would take a few times to work but that's it.
