We had a quick stop in San Antonio on the way to a family wedding. Just one night/day in the city and the LaQuinta suited us to a tee. The staff worked to get our two rooms near each other (great when traveling with an elderly parent) and absolutely exceeded expectations with the shuttle service that was offered. Transportation from the hotel to a great nearby restaurant (54th Street Bar & Grill) with the return trip just a phone call away. Mom loved the giant waffle in the shape of Texas that made the complementary breakfast special. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Everything was good overall. Breakfast was good overall. The cleaning lady was a little fiesty when we asked for towels but overall helpful. We went for July 4th holiday. Breakfast was crowded but the lady who bought out the sausage, cleaned up the waffle maker etc did great under the tense conditions. Front desk staff were kind & helpful especially Mr Alex. I love that a microwave, mini fridge & Netflix setup on the TV was available, free parking & wifi & pool/hot tub available) & the soap of choice was Dove! I'd come back...

I decided to go with La Quinta vs Holiday zinn Express bc of the lower price & the hot tub. The hot tub was far from hot & it wasnt cleaned out (debris at the bottom & water wasn't clear, a little cloudy) nor hot even though I adjusted the temperature. Bummer. I requested a late check out for noon the night before, which was granted. The cleaning crew were banging down my door at 10:38 am (for 11 check out!) I told them about late check out but they didn't get the memo. I called front desk to inform them & the banging stopped. (I had 3 rooms rented.) Much appreciated. Overall though, I'd come back...

Everything staff was awesome took care of me accommodations was clean continental breakfast was delicious the location of the hotel anything and everything there is to do close by this is my place to stay San Antonio La Quinta Inn & Suites near the San Antonio International Airport. It has a shuttle van that will take you places take you to the airport and back they really do make accommodations for their guests they have a swimming pool it's nice they have a little Courtyard you can go out and sit in that is very nice. I am not disappointed at all I have stayed here several times before and I will continue to stay here this is my place to stay.

There was nothing that I did not like I liked everything

The customer service was the best we’ve received to-date. Why? We had an issue with our booking.com and payment card. Alex (front desk) was amazing and extremely patient every step to help resolve our issue. He even retrieved a 1-800 number for us to call our digital card issuer. Within, a few minutes we had a new hotel reservation through booking.com again. The original payment issue was completely resolved and we were able to get checked into the hotel. The manager did not charge us any fees due to our payment dilemma. The entire team was phenomenal! We will continue to remain loyal and committed to staying at the La Quinta hotels. This made our entire trip to San Antonio a very memorable and positive experience. Thanks to and the manager for such a great experience and KUDOS to your superb team!!!! Thank you. A few issues with teenagers running and laughing out loud in the hallways between 2:00 -3:30 am on one night. We forgot to let the hotel staff know about this. No other noted issues.

Near the airport and North Star mall, Walmart, TJ Maxx for last minute gift shopping, and a USPS that closes at 10pm (!) so you can mail yourself that excess baggage wt before you fly out. There’s a hotel shuttle that takes you anywhere within a 2-mile radius. Updated bathrooms. The morning staff, especially Rose is very helpful. The shuttle drivers are great! It’s military-friendly—they understand our life and requirements

Cleanliness along the hallways needs improvement. The elevator is fast but panels are loose. Was scared some kid might pry them open. Needs a lot of touch up —wall lights are old and the laundry room in the 8th floor needs to be cleaned too—very dusty inside. The 8th floor looks like it’s under renovation (wires hanging from the ceiling). Wyndham should invest more on the maintenance of its airport hotels. Affordable should not mean less maintenance. Breakfast is tolerable, could make some improvement. Anyone can walk in and take the elevators so less secure. Should be operated by room key card. Overall, the friendliness of staff made up for it.

I left before breakfast was out. Had to check early for surgery at one of the hospitals in San Antonio.

I checked in on an email the night before from you all. I paid for the room, signed all the paperwork and sent a picture of my drivers licence. It told me just arrive with my confirmation number pick up my key and that's it. When I got to the front desk on 7/7/25, the whole process had to be done again after I told them it was done already the night before. The answer that I got back was that there was no reason why your hotel chain sents stuff like that out to guest because it still needs to inputted again with everything again. I waisted my time the night before for nothing !!

Location. Close to the airport, Whataburger, a restaurant and lots of shopping opportunities.

Needed more maintenance. I emailed the front desk twice but hey never replied. I went to the desk to confirm they received the emails and they told me they were too busy to check. In the photos: light switch did not work, the shower head was caked with calcium, the grip in the tub was coming off the wall and the door trim behind the bathroom door was rotted from water or termites. The vent fan in the bathroom needed to be replaced. It came on with the light and made disturbing loud high pitched noise. After replacing it, suggest a separate switch to turn it on/off.

The room was nice. Comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast waffles were delicious. I loved the Texas shaped waffle iron. Overall, my stay was pleasant. I recommend staying here if you’re in the area. It’s close to the airport and they have a free shuttle service. There are other conveniences nearby.

The eggs and sausage didn’t meet my expectations. I would have appreciated free water. Or an available water cooler throughout the stay. No daily housekeeping was a slight inconvenience.

Overall, I had a decent experience with this hotel; the staff was accommodating, room was spacious and clean. Ac kept the room cool and was quiet. There was a security guard roaming the parking lot which I appreciate. There's a Walmart and gas station nearby which is a bonus for me. Highway nearby so its easy to get in and out of the city.

There was remodeling being done above my room so it was noisy. Tv wasn't working upon arrival, but maintenance was quick to fix it. Good job! Water pressure wasn't great. Had to play with the shower handle.

The staff was great!

Our stay was okay and customer service at the front desk was great!! However, there are a couple items to bring to your attention: 1) Our room was on the 6th floor just a couple doors down from the ice machine. The machine was out of ice and beeps constantly which we could hear all night long. 2) The fan cover in the bathroom is loose and rattles when running. Both these items should be repaired for future guests as they are quite annoying. Not sure we'd stay there again as the traffic noise from the freeway and sideboards is quite loud.
