Lack of clear directions to access the property on foot

Your breakfast is magnificent, the tastiest sausages ever. An airport hotel should be serving breakfast early to accommodate those with early flights - your policy of continental breakfast from 4qam and hot breakfast from 5am is industry-leading - well done. The room was spacious and had every possible convenience - but see below. Bathroom clean, plenty of room in the shower.

The lack of zero-sugar drinks (Pepsi Max, Coke Zero etc was disappointing. I cannot be your only diabetic customer. Please sort out the cables to the TV - messy. Not a real problem in terms of functionality, but poor aesthetically.

Restaurant on the premises and a varied menu. The food was delicious, reasonably portioned, hot.

The 'Parsley Stem' scented hand and body wash smells atrocious! Horrendous choice for guests. Would strongly recommend this be changed sooner rather than later. No biscuits with the tea making facilities. The kettle is positioned in a small alcove, into a moulded tray, which was awkward to lift when it had boiled and has the potential to cause serious accidents. THE LOCKED AND SEALED WINDOW! Come on management - this is Health and Safety going WAY TOO FAR! The majority of your clientele are adults. If we have the ability to book accommodation, travel, pay for our accommodation, etc I think we are capable of opening and closing the windows responsibly. Get guests to sign disclaimers if you're so worried about accidental falls and deaths. It's ridiculous to seal all the windows shut.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, breakfast open at 05:00. Large bathroom with equally large and well equipped and modern shower. The hotel is the closest to both the car rental centre and airport among the 5 or so different airport hotels in Dyce (Aberdeen Airport). Some trouble with the booking through Booking.com, where the receptionist only found 1 of 2 rooms initially, but the receptionist handled it professionally and sorted it out in due time.

Not possible to open any window in the room. Lobby, elevator and room smelled quite sharply of perfume, which when combined with the lacking opportunity to open a window for fresh air led to an allergic reaction for one of three people in our group.

The greed showed by IHG or partners when it comes to parking. There were signs every 50 yards telling you not to park or you would be fined £100. It did not matter if you had a blue badge or not. The signs were too small and too numerous to expect any sane member of the public to read them all. We were not told that the ticket from the machine should be verified by the hotel so every time we left the hotel, the machine demanded £50. Hotel reception were quick to sort out the problem though. We could not park anywhere near the hotel yet taxis at the roundabout were parked even although there were double yellow lines everywhere. Can only assume that both hotels on this patch do not cater for non-residents.

Second visit to the hotel. Very happy with majority of aspects of the stay.

Problem with car park for myself and 2 other guests in my group which resulted in us all, on separate occasions have to park the vehicle again, go to reception and resolve an issue with the barrier, ticket and payment. On 2 of the occasions it was resolved relatively quickly by staff and charge removed for inconvenience. However, one of our members, who had to wait the longest, approx 10 minutes did not have this charged removed, whilst all the other guests around him encountering the same problem, and waiting less time than him had their charges removed - no parity, very unfair which upset him slightly.

Very cheap room for the weekend. Quiet, very clean so convenient for airport and hire cars and easy to get to and from. Excellent breakfast from very early, which we needed. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice. Restaurant was on a reduced service so went around corner to local chain restaurant. Good service and food for a reasonable price. Air conditioning in room could be switched off at night so no unit noise.

Could have been more tea and coffee resources had to ask for both e tra tea bags and .milk but they had it on reception.

My room was lovely and no problems, although one day there was no toilet paper or tissues in it but the staff quickly fixed that small issue. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to me, and other guests that I saw. The car park was fine also. I do think that the sign on the building is a bit hidden though when you are first trying to find it. Would you consider putting up some road sign or a more illuminated sign to make it more visible. I arrived in poor weather late at night after a very long drive, car ferry and car trip from Dublin to Aberdeen in one day and it was a little hard to find it as other hotels, Crowne Plaza block it a bit from the road. You do have a sign high up on the far left of the building visible from the road but it is not the most illuminated sign, just a thought to help future travellers find it.

Perhaps one or two other choices for food on the dinner menu? There was no porridge option in the breakfast but the hot breakfast was lovely. The coffee machine is not the greatest though - a bit slow and may not be the best taste. Very acceptable though.

Staff where excellent. Breakfast staff especially yanina (sorry about spelling) was so nice happy and helpful, . Breakfast choice was good, was hot plentiful and replenished very well. Room was nice and bed comfortable, also the night blue light in the bathroom was a great help and well thought out, location to airport and p n J live arena was excellent. Bar area looked lovely. Overall a very nice experience all round.

In the bedroom the seal at the bottom of the shower needed a really good clean and one lamp was very loose by the bed. Apart from these minor things everything was excellent.

Having stayed at most of the other hotels at the airport this was our 1st time trying this hotel and it was a great experience. Check in was easy and the young guy on reception was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very good and set us up nicely for our journey ahead. Conveniently located and an easy walk to the airport. The thing that set this hotel apart from the others we have stayed in was our encounters with the staff, they were all lovely and really friendly and made our short stay a pleasure.
