10/10 Everything was tip top. Gym and Health club excellent. Fantastic positive atmosphere throughout the hotel from the moment we checked in on Thursday. We are greeted at reception with an extremely professional staff member who made us feel so welcome from the off. Thank you., The breakfast staff were amazing and always made us feel so welcome each and every morning - class team of people. Management should be commended. We stayed in a twin room (232) and it was absolutely brilliant. AC was great along with room refreshments.

There was nothing to not like about this venue.

Room was excellent - just what we asked for in being in a quiet location. Only for a short time during a wedding reception did we hear any noise. Bed was comfortable. Shower absolutely superb. Great TV too, though it took some figuring out how to use. Excellent pool - and so nice to use it when no screaming children in it. Very nice staff in the pool area. And reception too, though restaurant staff much more average.

Breakfast was a bit mixed. Toast had to be ordered and only white or brown, plus it was cold by the time it got to the table. Bacon was badly undercooked first day, but excellent second (flavour was excellent). Orange juice was either watered down or just really poor quality. Coffee was good, once we figured out how to make it strong enough (two expressos and then hot water to make a proper americano). Wedding reception was a bit of a pain as they insisted on using the main staircase for their photos. Why they didn't use the beautiful inner courtyard was beyond me. Thankfully they understood it was their responsibility to get out of the way of people wanting to use the stairs, or there would have been a serious problem.

Check in was easy, Holly the Receptionist is an assett to Fareham Hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. The swimming pool area, steam and sauna were brilliant - thank you for all of those. There was however one huge minus point and that was the breakfast foods available. Not good. The plates were cold. The bacon was inedible as would've broke my teeth. The eggs were swimming in grease. The bread was stale. I paid for bed and breakfast but unfortunately had to go elsewhere for the breakfast. All in all however I will return to one of the branches.

Good room, clean & walk in shower for my husband with Parkinson’s

We wer there for 3nights. 2 weddings we’re taking place on the Friday & Saturday & included both evenings . Sat/sun breakfasts were horrendous. Food was poor, no eggs, food not topped up & tables not cleared when vacant. Food surfaces mucky with spillages & not cleaned up . Lack of waiting staff . 160 people over the 2days. Surely when the hotel knows how many for breakfast they don’t send out a waitress to buy more eggs! Not a great stay for us.

Location is very near to where we wanted to be. Lots of car parking. Easy to get to. Everything we needed was available. We had a brand new refurbished room which was very nice indeed!

The only niggle I had was that I normally sleep on a flatter pillow and I found it hard to get comfy on the fatter plumper ones in the room- no biggie but it would have been nice to have the option of a flatter pair of the four provided, as have been available in other hotels. Looking forward to seeing the refurbishments completed when we come again!

Uncertainty regarding how food was cooked regarding veganism. One chef informed us that the breakfast potatoes were vegan, but the next morning, a different chef said that he couldn't be sure that the vegan fryer was only used for vegan or vegetable products! We declined the potatoes!! We were able to eat at the Holiday Inn, but it has to be said that very little consideration is given to a vegan diet.

We were attending a friend's wedding and enjoyed our experience at Voco. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive and everything went very smoothly. The food was good and guests were relaxed and happy. Breakfast time was really busy but flowed well with minimal waiting. Slick service meant plates were cleared promptly and tables relaid. Rooms were immaculately clean and big comfy beds led to a good night's sleep

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The food is is well presented, good quality and eaten in good surroundings. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and especially welcome is having a small settee to sit on rather than just a desk style chair. Lighting is good in the rooms which isn't always the case with hotels. Location is good with bus service nearby to the nearest station.

I do find working the shower quite difficult - it's easy to get plenty of cold water from it but not so easy to get any hot, though water from the bath tap is very hot! I also much prefer walk in showers rather than having to climb into a bath and stand under the shower. I do accept that at this hotel the bath tub has low sides.

The beds are extremely comfortable to the point we checked what they were to get one. They’re £1100 mattresses so you will sleep so well!

If you’re eating at the brickworks restaurant there, the veggie menu needs a better selection. The veggie pie isn’t great and at £18 with 3 tender stem broccoli it’s overpriced. The spa pool isn’t warm enough. Compared to other spas they’re usually nice and warm when you get in. Was meant to be open until 9pm it closed at 8.30pm.

We loved our stay here! The hotel, first of all, is a very family-friendly place. My child was given a coloring book and some crayons at check-in, and even the sofa bed was set up to welcome kids with a sweet treat—not to mention the free meals for the kids! The staff, in general, are very friendly and accommodating. Considering we stayed during a very busy bank holiday, they were still committed to providing us with excellent service and a smile. The hotel facilities do show some wear and tear, of course, but the place is well-maintained. The rooms are clean and had everything we needed—a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, tea and coffee station, TV, and even a mini-fridge! Well done to all the receptionists, servers, housekeepers, and other hotel staff who made our stay worthwhile! Thank you very much. 😊
