A rather noisy and quite aggressive conversation going on between two men at the reception as I checked in. One of the people involved seemed to be a member of staff. The same person was speaking very loudly and aggressively on the telephone as I checked out. Very poor manners. Otherwise the place was good.

Really handy for getting into the city centre. Train station directly across the road and tube station less than 5 minutes walk. Room was small but had everything we needed. After reading some negative reviews I was nervous about going but it was great. And contrary to some reviews our windows did open. Pub straight across the street had good food and reasonably priced drinks. Would go back.

Noticed a slight damp smell when I walked into reception but once I was up in my room it was absolutely fine

The staff was able to store my luggage until check-in. The ordered a taxi for me efficiently and at low cost. The explained the gym and dining room facilities very well. They made me feel welcomed!

Unfortunately, after many tries by hotel management, I was unable to be connected to the internet. I need it to do on-line work at my university in Maine, U.S.A. Due to that, I had to cancel my stay and leave the hotel.

The location was excellent for our needs and access to transportation. The hotel was a little tired but everything we needed was in good working order. Would stay here again.

The wifi setup was not properly maintained and while it worked it seemed like it could have been compromised so we mostly avoided it.

The air conditioning was very effective on 34C days in London. The location is on the busy A5 road but the reception staff were so helpful when I requested a quiet room. I had a beautiful view over the treetops of Maida Vale and peace and quiet on the 3rd floor. The room was sound proof to outside noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable too. The hairdryer worked well.

It took a while to work out the shower handles to operate the rain shower/hand spray, and temperature adjustments. There were no instructions for the air con/heating but the receptionist came up and explained it to me. There is no fridge to keep drinks or food cold.

Attention Please!! I was positively surprised by this hotel. The location is perfect, very close to the subway station(killburn park), which is on a very good line(Bakerloo). Right in front of the hotel, there's a supermarket, a Starbucks, and a very cozy pub, meaning breakfast, dinner, and supplies are guaranteed. Unlike what other reviews said, the room was absolutely clean, there was no bad smell, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower worked perfectly, and there was a TV and minibar in the room. Everything was perfect. I believe the negative reviews have a malicious bias and are not related to the actual stay, as if I return to London, I will certainly come back to this hotel. In summary: Best value for money, excellent location, and absolute cleanliness!! You can trust this place.

The fire alarm went off one night, however, it was due to a thoughtless and disrespectful guest who was smoking in their room. The alarm was quickly turned off. Nothing related to the hotel. It has a very good experience at all

Nice room convenient location

The room was better than what i expected, to be honest i was little worried about some bad reviews but overall was good. the area where the hotel was located had alot of good restaurants, gym , close to the bus station and the underground that we used daily to get to center of London.

The only thing that i didn't like, was that the hotel didnt have a proper place keep our luggage when we came to check in early, they just put them on the side of the front desk. otherwise all was fine, nothing to worry about it

The staff were ever so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant attached to the hotel gave guests a discount and the drinks/cake we had was beautiful. The room was perfect for the price.

The cleanliness in the bathroom was substandard and, unfortunately, we couldn't get signal nor did the hotels WiFi work. I'm gathering the reason being as our room was in the lower part of the hotel.
