Location is great and the staff were generally friendly. Parts of the building are great and breakfast was good.

I felt the room was smaller than expected - but it is central London. My main complaint is I had filtered to select hotels with a pool and then found this was additional charge. It was not clear when booking.

Rembrandt is in an ideally situated, the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you, breakfast is great and the room is clean and adequate for a short stay. Hotel very close to museums, Harrods and Hyde Park. Great break away at a great place.

Some areas need decorating but doesn’t spoil the break.

The hotel is lovely, a great location, clean spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the road from the museum district, many restaurants, and a short walk from the tube station (South Kensington and Knightsbridge).

The only aspect that leaves me frustrated is the swimming facilities, they were extra on top of the rather expensive room. Plus, swimming was only open to children during certain hours. Booking.com made no mention of the charge (like they do with breakfast). This was a failure of booking.com as the hotel does mention the charge for use of the health club. This was a huge disappointment as it added a further 30 gbp each time we visited the pool. During the hottest days in London, I had hoped to cool down with my children at the end of a hard day's sightseein but my children could not enter after 3pm!

Staff were really friendly - made you feel very well supported and extremely helpful

Using the swimming pool with my 5 year old granddaughter- very unpleasant experience when a club member insisted that we shouldn’t be using the pool as it was adults only, even though no one had told us or explained any schedule to us. We had paid to use the pool and were not told about it being adult only until after we were actually in the pool. This was really unpleasant and we didn’t use the facility again. We had particularly chosen the hotel because of the pool for my granddaughter.

The concierges were mostly quite helpful. The location was perfect for my needs. The elevators are quick; breakfast was included and good.

There were some picky little things that seemed inexplicable: why don’t they replenish the “free” bottled water in the room, instead of making it one per customer? Why is there a very pointed note in the room virtually demanding that guests be out of the room from 8:30 - 15:00 for housekeeping access, yet when I arrived back at my room at 17:00 the maid was just arriving and asked me to leave again so she could service the room? And why didn’t the front desk see that as a problem?

The room was an adequate size for two people, including our carry on suit cases, day packs, etc. The bath room facilities are very comfortable, clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Hotel services including the desk clerks was very good. The two concierges were helpful and accommodating and made us feel welcome. The elevators work well in this hotel, although occasionally the keys (which you need to use the elevator) didn't work. The day we left, the hotel stored our luggage so we could visit the Victoria and Albert Museum across the street. Around the corner going one way are multiple places to get tea and delicious pastries - take your pick! - as well as any type of meal you desire. Around the opposite corner is the South Kensington square where there are many breakfast places with outside tables and some restaurants. This hotel is in a terrific location, walking distance to Chelsea as well many upscale department stores and eateries, and easy access to the metro.

The food in the hotel restaurant was less than adequate - we had lunch there the day we arrived and that was enough for us to determine we would not have any other meals there.

The room was a good size for a London hotel, although I did pay for a larger room. South Kensington Is a fab location. The breakfast was available until 11 on the weekend and suited my tastes-I am not into Full English breakfasts but that was available. I really liked that the hotel staff were more than happy to store my luggage for the day and let me use the ground floor lounge until it was time for me to go to the airport.

The hotel was expensive and then to use the gym cost 15 pounds per day extra. The decor in the room was quite acceptable but unimaginative. Get rid of the shower curtain-it makes the bathroom look daggy-with a screen it would look so much more contemporary.

The breakfast was good with a bast range of options. Quality of cooked breakfast was very good. First pancake maker I have seen. I was quite surprised at the price of the meal we had. Main course which was very good, lovely desert, glass of Malbec. Cost got the my wife and I was just under £80. Very good value, and the staff were super efficient, very friendly and helpful. The room was large, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The on suite bathroom was very clean and spacious. Please change the silly tap that doesn’t seem able to dispenser cold water.

The only criticism I can offer is that I did miss a pot of tea with my breakfast. I had to go to a machine that dispensed hot water into a mug then add a tea bag and milk. I know that is being really picky but that is my only criticism.

The room and bed were extremely comfortable, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet for the number of guests that appeared to be staying. It was also convenient to have access to room service with vegan menu options. The hotel's location was perfect. We were able to walk to a variety of places easily, including Buckingham Palace. We had a wide variety of restaurants nearby, and the South Kensington tube station was about five minutes away on foot.

It would have been nice to have more fruit and vegan breakfast options, but the hotel was accommodating and had a few non-dairy creamers and gluten-free bread for those who needed it.
