Gorgeous rooms with original design in cold blue grey and amazing lobby and restaurant with brilliant breakfast. We also got upgraded to a suit which was great. Very friendly and professional staff

A little too expensive had we not been upgraded.

Hotel was extremely good and front staff are amazing. Location was exceptional and I love the boutique style of the hotel. I stayed in the room with a balcony and it was super nice to back onto gardens, really lovely. Would definitely stay again!

They can improve on their breakfast service and get better coffee jugs to serve the coffee. Breakfast was too long of a wait and the person I got was not attentive. Coffee had to be repoured multiple times as there were grains in it. There was better staff that came in so perhaps it was just a change of shift challenge.

Fantastic quiet location despite being right near Cromwell Road. The beds were very comfortable! Great to be given water in our room. Staff were all friendly and helpful! Room 407 was very quiet at the end of a corridor. It had the most amazing double walk in shower.

A few rather unfortunate issues. We couldn't get bedside lights to work and the rooms are quite dark. The team sorted issue promptly but had to fiddle in our room to sort the problem. Also ended up having to move rooms at 21:30 in the evening as water was pouring out from a ceiling light fitting. Sadly, the room we were moved to was in a noisy location by the lift shaft. If your a light sleeper, don't accept this room Small bar area and no comfortable seating or lounge areas to spend time in.

i liked the location and the size of the room and the rokms were super clean and staff friendly

i didnt like i made a reservation for me and my 2 kids and my breakfast was included in my reservation and when i went for breakfast i ordered 2 pancakes and 1 cofee and 2 hot chocolate they told me the breakfast was only the bread included and the cost was 30 pounds and after 30 pounds have to pay myself i and the check was 80 pounds, so after that day i had to go out everyday outside to have breakfast thats was very very unpleasant

We stayed at the Franklin as a base for our London elopement wedding, we cannot fault the service we received. The staff were all so polite and professional and ensuring our stay was perfect. The hotel is in such an ideal location with about a 10 minute walk from harrods and South Kensington. The room was beautiful and modern. We had the windows open and faced into the garden but it was so quiet you wouldn’t think it was central London. The bar was also amazing! We can’t really fault our stay and look forward to coming back.

There are some surface level maintenance that needs to happen like resealing around the bath but this could be room specific.

Location excellent for knights bridge and Chelsea very upmarket part of the city great shops if your indulging in some designer wear hotel was good room was excellent very spacious and lovely decor the staff in the reception were very courteous and helpful

The hotel lighting was very low which made everything appear dark at all times really warm in certain parts too the most disappointing part was breakfast when we arrived no one greeted us to take us to a table we sat down for 10 minutes until I had to attract someone's attention for the menu we ordered juice cereals and fruit followed by poached egg and scrambled egg and a pancake to end with after 15 minutes everything came all at once which we found weird as no space on table and surely common sense to have cereals and fruit first and then the warm dish the staff at breakfast weren't really jovial they seemed under pressure for the amount of people they were looking after we ordered extra tea but it never turned up

The hotel is very clean and modern. The deco is beautiful.

Paid for the room on booking.com and when we checked in at the hotel the staff member made us pay again even though we had provided proof of payment. He said the payment wasn’t reflecting on their side but he had not checked the booking.com portal which was not our problem. We had to pay over a thousand pounds for one night and said he would refund it back once the payment reflected. My issue was what if I didn’t have the money to pay again as I had already paid on booking.com. I honestly didn’t appreciate this, the money was later refunded the next day but it caused me some inconveniences that I had not anticipated.

Very clean hotel. Staff pleasant. Hotel in nice quiet location not far from Harrods.

Stuck in bathroom for at least half an hour ! Door wouldn't open and no way of calling anyone ! Had to damage door with metal soap tray to effect my escape. Initial reaction from manager was one of anger for damaging the door !!! What I thought were complimentary drinks on arrival were not ! Charged £64 on my Amex, less two brandy's from mini bar ( To calm myself after bathroom farce) !

Such a great location and a stunning hotel with quirky decorated rooms. Loved the personal touches, like handwritten welcome note, turndown service folded some of our clothes, put slippers out ready for us. Heated floor in the bathroom and bathrobes were a nice addition too!

There was very little not to like in all honesty, the food was exquisite, everywhere really clean and staff were really helpful and friendly, with the exception of one waitress at breakfast. I felt considering the standards set by the hotel, she was not forthcoming with things. Had to ask for all the continental options (we had the full English but other than tea coffee she didn't ask if we wanted any juice, yogurt, pastries etc...) So felt a buffet style would be better received as seemed to be the same case with the table next to us and when we asked her for things, she really seemed put out and took some time for it to be served (not the hot breakfast which was cooked very fast and absolutely delicious!).
