I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn on Jarvis Street, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was particularly cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location was also a major plus. It was within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and attractions. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day, with a variety of options to choose from.

However, there were two minor issues that I would like to mention. Firstly, the price of the room was a bit higher than I expected for a hotel of this caliber. Secondly, the trash can in the room was quite small, which was a bit inconvenient. It would have been nice to have a larger trash can to accommodate more waste.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options to choose from. I also appreciated the 24-hour access to complimentary coffee and water. The room was spotless very clean and well-organized with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. It came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and lots of storage space, including several drawers. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay.”

It wasn’t a big deal, but I think they forgot to refill the body soap. Luckily, we had our own, so it wasn’t a problem.

The hotel was on the peripheries of the city in an area that was much quieter and more sedate. Downtown was within 10 minutes walk or via street car 100 yards away have you a ride into the city Initially we thought that the visual aspect of the corridors appeared in need of redecoration but we were pleased that the apartment was delightful. One thought was that the doors on the corridors were not fire proved with Intumescent strips fitted to fire doors and frames The staff were delightful and so willing to help to make our stay enjoyable . Well done However I my deposit hasn’t been returned yet and I was assured that we would see the deposit within a day or two We stayed 30 March - 3 April

The staff was amazing. We arrived on the 18th of March and were put in a room on the second floor. The room was great, except for the fact that we had no view. I asked the front desk if there was any possibility of switching rooms, and they had us switched to the seventh floor with a view. We were checked on multiple times during our stay and it was easy to get ahold of the front desk if we required anything. The staff at this hotel values their customers' satisfaction.

The shower lacked water pressure. Breakfast was not the greatest.

The room was very clean and generally quiet. The hotel's location is great and you can easily leave your car in the parking lot for the duration of your stay if you are okay with walking or using public transport (150m from nearest streetcar and 600m from nearest subway station). Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean and big. The bed is comfortable.

Although it was generally quiet, you can sometimes hear people in the hallway and above you. The room doors also close hard, making noise for other hotel guests. Our room was facing the construction site to the north, and there was some bad noise starting before 7am on the Saturday morning. It was quiet on Sunday morning though. Also, breakfast is very basic at Hampton Inn. You can certainly find something to eat, but it's not the greatest food quality.

The pressure in the shower was very low, the elevator is very small and takes a few to get on. I believe there was 2 elevators but maybe the 1 wasn't working

Perfect location, great room with super King Bed, big TV and great sitting area with super sized bathroom and shower. Very dog friendly and great. Workout room.. The included breakfast bar was enormous and had anything one could possibly want including a very easy to use “make you own waffle” area. We loved the location and the great park and botanical garden across the street. Highly recommend this property!

Room was beautifully clean and neat - Thank you. Large and spacious room Location was excellent and had a lovely view over the park across the road Bed was very comfortable and family member made use of sofa, who also seemed to be comfortable

Lighting was a bit dim in main area as only had use of bedside lamps and no overhead lights Not limited to this accommodation as it seems to be done in a number of other hotels in Canada during our travels - don't enjoy wooden utensils and paper plates - personal preference is proper plates and cutlery.

Value for money. Location was good and staff were very friendly. We arrived very early, almost 6 hours before usual check in but the room was ready so they let us check in which was amazing and very much appreciated. They also gave us late check out on our departing day for no additional charge.

We weren’t too pleased when we were told that breakfast was open until 11am and went down for breakfast only to find out that 11am is weekend hours (it’s 10am on weekdays). Simple misunderstanding/miscommunication but was a little annoying since we paid for breakfast for all mornings of our stay.

I liked the location of the hotel being quite close to many shops in the area, the bed was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was lovely.

Please note, I did alert the hotel reception to this as I left on my final morning - When I checked in to my room, the bin was full with previous guest’s rubbish, so there was less room for my own. one of the kids of the cups in the room was also dirty, but I did not think to mention this. Unsure if this meant the room was properly cleaned before I stayed. Was not too concerned, however.
