This hotel is great for a no frills stay if your primary goal is to be close to the beach. You can walk to a lively strip of beach in less than one minute and the lobby has chairs and towels to borrow. There is also a pool. There is an A/C unit in the bedroom as well.

The rooms have been upgraded as you can see from the floors but the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on outside.

Loved the location and the beachy vibe of the hotel. Had free parking as well - let me tell you, Hollywood Beach gets packed, so having a spot that you can claim is a great amenity! Loved being within walking distance of the beach and many restaurants and shops. The boardwalk was so charming! If we weren't in town for business, we would have been there the whole time! Had a minor issue with plumbing in the kitchen, and we let the staff know, and within 10 minutes, maintenance was knocking on the door to fix it. We were mostly at a seminar day in and day out, so we opted out of using the cleaning staff, so I cannot speak for them.

Location was incredible. We literally walked 20 feet and we were on the beach or boardwalk. Being so close if you're light Sleeper might be the only downfall because the music is booming all hours through the night. We sleep to rain sounds and it drowned out the noise perfectly and wasn't an issue for us. I'm a mom with 3 kids 2 small, alone, and felt safe the entire time. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

I didn't love we didn't have access to a broom closet to get sand out. So I went and bought my own. If you're going with small kids and are depending on the kitchen for most meals be prepared to buy every little thing such as salt/pepper. This was the only place I've stayed at that didn't have basic kitchen necessities aside from a couple pots/pans and a few pieces of silverware. Not a huge deal obviously but an extra expense to prepare for.

One minute from the beach/broadwalk. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the room was great, very clean and had microwave, hotplate, fridge and silverware/crockery. Bathroom large and clean. It's a complex of many buildings but they are clearly marked with numbers. I had let them know I would be checking in late, when the office was closing at 11pm they called me to ask if I was nearly there, if not they have a dropbox where they leave the key for you to pick up. Received an email with instructions on how to retrieve. Overall I give them high marks for being very well organized.

Had to pay for parking.

The pool was so small and not clear

Stayed the one night prior to a cruise from Fort Lauderdale. Location was perfect. Walking distance to beach and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Would stay here again if I was in the area

Location. Very spacious room and quiet

The location is great, right on the beach. My room was super cute and had everything that I needed. The bed was comfy, and the staff was really nice.

My room was far from the reception, closer to the beach, so that is great, but it would have been nice to offer some help carrying bags or suitcases. It did feel as if they were understaffed, as the girl at the reception had a line of guests checking in and was juggling the nonstop ringing phone. I am familiar with the area, but someone who is not may have not liked the windows in the bathroom with no locks or screens for safety. A little update is due for small details.

The staff was great. Very helpful and informative. They were very happy to answer and questions and provide advice. They actually like their jobs it seemed. Location to beach is great. Room was clean, water was hot, mattress was good. No bugs, everything in the room was functional.

The TV doesn't have cable, only antenna channels. The standard room had no small table to put down my laptop or eat food at. The room had adjoining room door which is hollow so I could hear everything the people next to me were doing. Luckily they spent most of the time out of the unit. Thank God they didn't have a crying child or I would have asked for another room.
