We stayed 2x - before & after a cruise. Rooms were clean, some beds were ok- a couple were hard as rocks, A/C (most of them) in rooms were extremely noisey. "maintenance" was called & the Front Desk clerk arrived & said "I have no Idea what to do. all maintenance staff is off all night." 2nd visit the room A/C was a bit better. Breakfast was "free" but not very good-- cold, premade pancakes, a few boxes of cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt. Not enough tables, even on a weekday. Ice machine was on 2nd flood and a long walk from everywhere. Web site said free parking- I called and was told 7 days. upon arrival- it was 5 days then $5. day. we needed 18 days but had a total of 4 rooms ( 2 before & 2 after cruise) so they agreed to let us leave the car.

Most A/C's were very noisey. Breakfast wasnt very good. Almost no one on staff spoke English, including the front desk clerks so it was very hard to explain problems or ask questions

The Room was clean.

I did not like no hand soap in room. Left by the sink is body wash. Another thing is did not like is, check out is at 11 am. At about 10:10 am one of the male housekeepers knocked on my door and said "Are you checking out today, how much longer ?" He was rushing me out of the room. If I stayed til after 11 yes, by all means chase me out but not before 11 am. Housekeeping was in a rush to make the room. This is totally unacceptable to ask me with 50 more minutes to go. I never experienced this ever in my life at any property worldwide.

Nancy at the front desk of la Quinta north went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible - it seemed like she knew the most info of all the employees and had a wonderful personality she helped me with reservations, early check in, changing reservations, shuttle transport and late checkout - she made our stay so comfortable that we didn’t even care that the pool was not available and we gave her a big tip but she deserves a bigger raise!!!! Attn: management!!! we are coming back to Miami in 2026 and will book here again specifically because of her! Love you Nancy!!

Being just outside the Miami Airport and having a schuttle were very convenient for an overnight stay. The rooms were spacious and the bed is comfy. The breakfast is nice although just the additon of some eggs would make is perfect. Our toilet had a leaking issue and I guess it was fixed already. But this place is a convenient and nice budget stay. And the deposit if processed directly back; which is very very good news.

Clean room nice beds

The girl that checked us in was not friendly at all. The other lady was fantastic made us wish we had waited and gotten her to wait on us. What I really didn't like was how far from the main building we were and how noisy it was outside our room but then once the door was shut we didn't hear the noise. The walk to the elevator was to long and thankfully a cleaning person helped us find the elevator. Security was nice he was enjoyable to talk with. We couldn't find the ice machine. Otherwise it was a nice clean place to lay our heads at for the one night.

The bed was like a huge hug! The hotel is motel style with the blocks of rooms separated from the main building. The room was huge and the bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in, resulting in a great sleep ready for our next flight the following day. Everything you expect and need in the room. Breakfast was carbs, carbs and carbs but fuel for the day ahead. The shuttle service was great. It leaves the hotel in the hour so gets to the airport about 15 minutes later

we were staying one night before our cruise, check in was good, good clean room, and free parking was great. We also were able to book a ride to the port with the hotel. would stay at this hotel again.

we booked a room with two beds as were three in our party. only issue was double beds, not queen size, so a bit tight for two people to sleep together.

Very clean, welcoming. Free airport shuttle runs every hour. Conveniently located near good quick eats—McDonald’s, Denny’s, Chipotle, and great Cuban restaurant next door…can’t remember the name right now. But it was deeelish!

Breakfast offered but not a lot of space for dining in lobby. But, it is a continental breakfast so you could easily take back to your room. My husband and I just preferred to sit down and eat…not in the room.

Firstly, I missed my flight at MIA International Airport so I had to find accommodations for one night for my family and I. In looking on Booking.com I saw the reasonable rate at La Quinta, a chain that I had stayed at before. I chose the hotel due to the amenities of free shuttle service, proximity to the airport and free wifi. I didn’t expect a microwave to be in my room and there was which was a plus!! I figured I’d use the microwave in the hotel lobby to warm my baby’s bottles. Breakfast was available in the morning and the coffee was hot, my kids had a nice variety to choose from and the shuttle was ready to drop us to the airport on time. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean and filled with essentials for our one night stay.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t very familiar with MIA International Airport so I was advised that I should wait at a particular zone (7) for the shuttle which would arrive on the hour. I waited and saw several other hotel buses arriving, some even twice but no La Quinta. I didn’t think much of it as the hour hadn’t arrived as yet. I didn’t have service to call the hotel due to having an international phone service but I had someone call the hotel to inquire whether the shuttle was coming once I saw the hour had passed by about 5 minutes. The concierge asked which zone I was at and that the driver would arrive shortly. So I think it would be vital to advise where the correct zone is to wait for the La Quinta shuttle when booking for guests to be aware.

Room sized properly, bed comfortable and very clean, and overall cleanliness very satisfactory; Just what anyone needs in order for a perfect stay!

Only negative, from my stand point of view, was the curtains were too clear not providing enough privacy... other than that it was perfect stay!
