The breakfast was above average. It was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. It was an exceptional hotel for the price we paid.

We were anxious when we pulled in to see a lot of (what appeared to be homeless) folks congregated near the entrance to the hotel. We had things in the back of our truck that we couldn't move, though the receptionist did tell us there was a place we could store them. Unfortunately, we did not feel our vehicle or belongings were safe in the situation there. Nor did we feel safe as we walked a short distance to get something for dinner with little choice of places due to closed up restaurants. If we could have received a refund, we would have gone somewhere else. Fortunately, all was safe and we enjoyed our stay...inside. It's a nice place with courteous, friendly people. Its too bad about the outside conditions.

The room was overall very clean. The breakfast was great in that it was a full hot breakfast! I was looking for that in a Hotel and this one delivered! The staff was nice and friendly and addressed any issues I had.

I am always a little disappointed that even these nicer Hotels just have those lousy Coffee Pods! The Coffee is just not that good in the room. The Coffee downstairs is a little better, but they need extra bold options. It's a little bit close to homeless central, but it seems that Portland is pretty much becoming one large Homeless encampment.

The property was spotless and welcoming, and the staff was *amazing*! The breakfast was really good, and my son loved the make-it-yourself waffle bar (especially the strawberry batter and Nutella spread). The hotel was also wonderfully central to Fort Vancouver, the OMSI, and the couple food pods we were trying to visit while we were there, with less than a 15 minute drive to get to any of them. Plenty of free, good parking at the hotel.

The couple things I “didn’t like” were negligible - I did not find the little pillows that they provide to be very comfortable, but I usually bring my own pillow and had forgotten it in our other vehicle, so I saw that as more of “that’s on me” thing. The area is right off the highway, and seems to have some sketchy foot traffic in the evening, but none of that was present on the property, and what happens off the property is neither the hotel’s fault, nor in their control, so I didn’t see that as an issue with the hotel, itself, just the area. The hotel itself felt perfectly safe and secure.

The hotel common areas were clean, our room was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable, there were a lot of breakfast options and it was good, and the staff were professional and responsive.

The only negative is that there were a lot of un-housed people at the gas station next to the hotel that appeared to be under the influence of substances. There was even a naked woman walking across the parking lot of the gas station when we first arrived at the hotel. When we left, there was a fire set in the gas station parking lot as well. We have nothing against un-housed and displaced people. We were concerned because they appeared to be under the influence and some were behaving erratically. The hotel has no control over the behavior of people around it, but I want to share this because we had our 9 year old with us. Just a FYI to be aware of this if you stay with your kids.

Breakfast was nice. They rotated the selection of food each day, so you don't have to eat the same thing each day. We were there for 5 days.It was very clean and nicely decorated.

The closet was small. The toilets were too low, and the toilet seats were cheap. They slope downward. They dont support the bones in your "seat" It was really uncomfortable. The rooms seemed small, especially on the left side of the bed. You had to squeeze between the wall and bed to get in that side. The beds were way too soft. A lot of homeless people hanging around the streets, but the hotel had a good security company on patrol.

Everything was great , that is based off of a previous stay, except they did not mention on booking com that you can't have your mom per say, from LA pay for the stay, unless she is there with the card , as the card has to be in your possession and match the name on your ID except I didn't get to stay because it did not mention on the "pay when you get there" option, that they do not accept cash, My stay report is based on a previous recent stay, not this one.

The property was secure, you either needed a key card to enter, or staff buzzed you in. The breakfast was very good, lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent products for shampoo and conditioner. Nice towels. Easy to get to off of the freeway.

The location was a little sketch. When we arrived it was dark and the gas station close by had a lot of homeless people sitting on their sidewalk. I know this property cannot control that but it made me nervous! The good thing is that there was security that drove thru the parking lot around the clock so it did make me feel better.

Spacious and comfortable Lobby seating area. Complimentary Breakfast located in main lobby area, served 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., staffed by several attendants, a variety of food and replenished as needed, tables cleaned as soon as used, glass plates, garbage cans and cart for used plates monitored and emptied by staff when needed. Plenty of seating in larger dining area, and TV to view with tables seating for 2 and 4. We arrived after 12 a.m. There was an attendant/cashier on duty, pleasant and attentive. Glass door entry way under canopy cover, security locked, opened remotely by attendant and then by guest's room security key card. Complimentary COOKIE! Observed uniformed Security guard entering lobby.

Perfect location for all your needs

Everything in the hotel was kept clean and nice. We were able to get a pack-n-play from the front desk for free. The first pack-n-play was missing its feet, so didn't function properly. They immediately replaced it with a new pack-n-play that had all the feet and worked great. Breakfast was really good and nice variety. The entrances to the hotel were pretty well locked up to outside intruders. Cameras were looking over the parking lot.

The entire facility and grounds smelled like marijuana. Thank you Oregon. There were also several homeless people loitering around the keycard-locked front doors. Didn't know if I'd get murdered or have our van stolen overnight, but everything turned out okay.
